Woman in the Water by Katerina Diamond is the 6th book in the Detectives Adrian Miles and Imogen Grey series. I have really enjoyed this series so far and this new chapter did not disappoint.
A young woman is found badly beaten and half submerged in the river. She says that she has lost her memory and does not even remember her name. When a body is found near to where they found the woman the investigation turns into a murder enquiry.
This is a fast paced thriller with quite a few twists and turns.
I have enjoyed seeing the characters of these two police officers develop and can't wait for the next instalment.
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for my e-copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book was very well written. Nice and easy to read and flowed well. Had me on the edge of my seat. Wondering which way it was going to go. Great mystery can’t beat it.

Detectives Adrian Miles and Imogene Grey are trying to track down a missing woman. Found in icy water, the woman was barely alive, but refused to discuss how she ended up in the water or even who she is. Now she has disappeared from the hospital and another woman had been found in the water, but this one is dead. Miles and Grey believe they know who the missing woman is, but can they find her and solve the riddle she presents before another woman dies?

I received an advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review

I’ve been devouring this series for the last three years, but this one just wasn’t my favorite. It seemed that the actually thriller took a backseat and the true spotlight was on the police fellows inner life and personal development, which I understand is how it can be with police procedural series, but this one almost wasn’t a mystery. Dragged.
