This is an engrossing psychological thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end.
Amy and her family are dealing with their grief a year after Ruby-May tragically drowned just before her third birthday. Amy blames her ageing father for the accident as he was supposed to be looking after the child. The extended family decide to take a holiday to Italy to mark the one year anniversary of Ruby-May’s death, but arguments, recriminations and past histories are dredged up, causing further traumatic events.
This is a great summer read that has convinced me to look at the author’s back catalogue.
An engrossing and atmospheric thriller that kept me hooked till the last page.
It's well written, the characters are fleshed out and the plot is engaging.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
A very dark thriller which I was not sure about at the beginning but so glad I carried on. Would recommend to other thrill seekers so thank you Netgalley and the Publisher.
Amy's daughter died in an accident the day before her third birthday.
One year later the family decide to go to Italy on holiday together to try and get over this terrible tragedy.
Things don't go to plan and Amy starts to believe that not everyone is telling the truth of what actually happened on the day her daughter died.
Thank you to NetGalley and Atlantic Books for my e-copy in exchange for an honest review.
