Written in the first person, Millie is fulfilling her mother's Last wish and undertaking a trip around the world. She meets asks Michael, a barrister, in a bar in Dublin, to have a one night stand so that she can lose her virginity. He agrees but has his own set of rules that she must adhere to. Will there arrangements be enough to prevent Millie moving on to Paris and for Michael to overcome his fear of relationships?
An emotionally and sexually charged Dare novel. I would prefer it not to be written in the first person but that is my own personal preference.

Once again, Clare Connelly delivers a well-written romance with plenty of passion, and an emotional element the gives the book an edge. Written in two first person narratives, you really do get to know Michael and Millie and understand all their hopes and fears, and, whilst the story starts with Millie asking Michael for a one night, there is a lot of depth to the story as we learn about Millie and Michael's past history and how events have shaped them to the way they are today.
An enjoyable read about having a dream, and, ultimately realising that sometimes life has other plans than what you set out to do, the plot builds towards a strong ending as Millie struggles to balance her plans with the realisation that Michael could become more than a passing moment in her life. Similarly, Michael is also conflicted, finding it hard to trust and believe in long term relationships, and the two make a strong, believable couple who you really do root for to find their happy ever after.
As with Clare Connelly's previous 'Dare' titles, the end is a strong, emotionally charged affair that leads to a satisfying conclusion, and provides yet another enjoyable read.

Millie is on the round the world trip she promised her dying mum she would do before settling down in Australia. Working in a bar in Dublin she meets Michael, a high flying barrister, and attraction flares.
Millie doesn't want to be a 23 year old virgin anymore and she wants Michael to be her first lover. Shocked but thrilled by her proposal Michael agrees, but he has some conditions that she must follow
Their relationship burns hot and can it stop Millie leaving Dublin and going to Paris? Will it make other of them change their minds on love and being together forever?
I did enjoy this book and I really like the split of voices, Michael seemed like the dominant voice, the dominant narrator and for me that really worked. My brain likes to understand things from both sides and in this story I was, it also made it possible to see why the characters were doing what they were and to get closer to them.
Clare's writing was skilful and she brought the characters off the page and like they were real people. I would have liked to see more of Michael and Millie when they weren't in the bedroom and the ending felt a bit rushed but apart from that it was a good book
I would recommend this book to those who want to go on that once in a lifetime trip and follow their dreams no matter what

Phew, this is hot!! When I say hot, I mean scorching, you need to go and through yourself in frozen lake; hot. It’s a fast paced, scorching hot romance that will leave the reader gasping for more. For those who aren’t a fan of erotic romances, this maybe not the best book for you, but for those who love a good getting twisted within the bedsheets, then I say grab a copy and snuggle down for a bit of carnal lust. 😉

I’ve not read any of Clare Connelly’s books before, but I have heard some really great things about her work, well I have to say that she doesn’t disappoint, she definitely lives up to her marvellous reputation as a stonking great Dare author, as this is amazing and I will definitely be grabbing as many of Clare’s books as I can get my little hands on.

This book – as you would expect from a Dare, is sizzling, the temperature sours, the sex is steamy and raunchy and to be honest that really is the focal point of the story, as our heroine Millie being a virgin, she has basically had enough and wants – to put it bluntly; sex and lots of it – which is what she gets with lusty, workaholic Michael.

Millie is in the middle of travelling around Europe and she finds herself in Ireland where she starts working in a bar for a short time until she What I really like about this is how Millie, even though she is very naïve and there is something very innocent about her, she knows what she wants and she isn’t afraid to go out and get it. She wants Michael, she has been watching for a while as he goes into the bar she works in, she is fascinated by this enigmatic and suave looking man with the glorious Irish accent and she has got to the point in her life where she want to throw all rules out of the window and have a night of hot sex – which is where Michael comes in. He is a machine, his whole life revolves around work, he doesn’t want a relationship he is more than happy with one night stands and casual sex, so he is more than amiable when Millie puts her no strings proposition to him.

This is a fun, quick read that does entertain, the Irish setting is gorgeous – as gorgeous as our hero. The character’s are passionate and even though I felt that there was something missing about them, I can’t quite put my finger on it, it’s nothing huge that impacts on their relationship with each other or the story, it was just a niggling feeling I got, but apart from that, they are good fun and very likable.

I really liked the way it this was written it has a great flow to it that does make the reader keep turning the pages, Ms Connelly has got a wonderful way at developing a scene and enhancing the already simmering sexual tension between the two leads, she doesn’t keep pushing sex in your face while reading, the tension builds up brilliantly.

Overall a very entertaining book that you will devour in one sitting.

Heated and passionate from the start, this story has the trademark sensuality of a #Dare book, but as the story progresses the heat is fused with emotional entanglement that brings the characters’ to life. and makes you want them to have a happy ending.

Millie is on an emotional journey, travelling the world, meeting new people and experiencing new things as her mother always wanted to. In Dublin, she decides that Michael, a top barrister is just the teacher she needs for a particularly personal initiation, but will he agree?

The chemistry is hot and definitely not sweet, but one night isn’t enough. As the addictive passion escalates, so does the emotional commitment. Control and power are predominant themes of this story, but it develops in an empowering way for Millie and gives this story an excellent twist.

The final conflict is heartbreaking but utterly romantic and the ending is perfect.

An addictive read, full of passion and chemistry. Millie is travelling around Europe finding herself and meets Michael, obsessed workaholic who doesn’t want a relationship, what happens when he falls in love and she still wants to travel. I loved the different take on this and I loved Millie’s strength and passion. An entertaining light read.

A hot, seductively sexy, eroticly enticing romantic story of the uninitiated learning and even teaching the very one imparting the lessons of sex.

The unattacheable, no relationship, legal workaholic, discovers that he actually finds the love of his life and wants to settle down with her.

But she is on her own discovering journey, and carries on with it, only to return to her love for a happy ever after ending.
