4.25-4.5 stars. This was a really good book! Untamed Delights is the last book in the Phoenix pack series, which is my favorite shifter series ever. This is Dominic's long awaited story. Mila is a pallas cat shifter and a singer. Dominic is the flirty, funny enforcer for the Phoenix wolf pack. He sees Mila sing at the shifter club and is interested in her right away. Mila has given up on finding a mate. Her true mate is imprinted to her cousin. She is not interested in him at all, but she does want to be mated so she is considering an arranged mating with a family friend in Russia. But Dominic doggedly pursues her anyway. Mila resists at first, because she knows about Dominic's past as a manwhore, but he shows her he is interested in her alone. As they spend time together and start to fall for each other, it becomes apparent that someone is out to get Mila. When her life is threatened, Dominic shows her that he will do anything to keep her safe and show her his love.

I adored this book. Mila and Dominic were both great characters and I loved them together. They were a perfect couple- sweet, sexy and funny. There was very little pushing away between them, no real OW drama, awesome chemistry, fun banter and a really good story. The book was nice and long, but they got together and stayed together pretty early and there was no slow burn. There was a good suspense story line, too. Also, I really liked catching up with all the fun characters from previous books in the series. Overall, this was just a really enjoyable read!

Reading this book was bittersweet. I am so sad to see this series end! I loved this book and all the others in this series. The world Ms. Wright has created and her writing in this series is amazing. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

If you’ve followed The Phoenix Pack then you’ve run into Dominic throughout the series. Sex on two legs (or four paws), Dominic has been in the background with his corny one-liners, his devotion to the pack, and his (until now) untold complete story. If this is your first time here then I’d gently suggest you start at the beginning – there is so much to experience within this unique group of shifters that to not enjoy them all would be a shame, in my opinion.

It’s always a bittersweet moment for me when I’ve finished the final story in a series. That was certainly true with Untamed Delights. Yet, what an amazing ride it’s been.

The chemistry between Dominic and Mila leaps off of the page, but so does the sadness as well. They are chosen mates, not fated ones, for Mila’s true mate has picked someone else to imprint on, leaving her alone and not caring that her father is sending her off to a loveless, arranged marriage. Yet that changes when she meets Dominic. He might not be fated for her, but he is her chosen and perhaps that’s even better for them both.

There is such depth to Dominic, certainly more than we saw previously, but even more than expected. I loved watching them discover each other, beyond the sensuous side of them, to the people they truly are and can be together. Oh, do not doubt that these two can burn up the sheets, they are as sexy as you’ll ever find. Yet, knowing Dominic’s background seeing him with a woman that he cares for so much, one he has chosen for his forever was a moment I’d waited for this man for a very long time. It’s not going to be an easy pairing, there is a real danger to be faced from several fronts yet they fight for what is real for them – and that’s all that truly matters in the end.

I have loved The Phoenix Pack from the very beginning, and I don’t really want to see this series end, although I know all things must eventually. The Mercury Pack is still going strong, and there is more on the horizon. So perhaps these characters I’ve loved for years won’t totally be gone, only seen now and then – and that would be enough for me as I wish them a happy future and send them off into the sunset.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

At last, the dirty jokester of the pack gets his book. I was looking forward to Dominic’s book since he was constantly teasing everyone’s mates. I’m really thankful that the publisher gave me the opportunity to read this book before its release; this is my honest opinion.

Mila is the perfect woman for Dominic. A pallas cat, she doesn’t take shit from anyone and doesn’t surrender to Dominic’s charm. Her cat is not in the best place right now, because her true mate has partially imprinted on her cousin. She’s pissed with him and wants to move to Russia to escape the situation.

Dominic is enamored with her from the first glance. She’s the first female who calls him on his shit and gives as good as she gets. He’s not in a rush to find his true mate, so a fling with her is what he wants at the moment. His protective instincts are coming out, when he finds out that she’s in danger.

The book has the right amount of suspense, action, hotness and funny moments. I was shocked to find out who was really targeting her and the reason why. I laughed so hard when the Phoenix wolves hit her with dirty lines as payback for Dominic’s behavior. Their chemistry is off the chart and their encounters are sizzling hot!!!

I’m really sad to see the series coming to an end. The epilogue left me with happy feelings and I’m really content with how everyone’s story turned out! I’ll be eagerly waiting for the Olympic Pride series next!!!

In Untamed Delights we get the much anticipated story of Dominic, the Phoenix Pack's enforcer and cheesy line deliverer.

Mila, a Palas cat, has a ready answer or put down to every one of Dominic's lines!

Their path to HEA is full of laugh out loud moments as Dominic continues to deliver his 'lines' with impeccable timing and humour.

But that's not all, just when you think everything is going well, Dominic, Mila and their respective packs are put through the mill.

My advice, read Untamed Delights to find out how wonderfully Suzanne Wright finishes off the Phoenix Pack series!

This book was amazing! Dominic definitely has his hands full. Glad that he found his mate and loved to see this side of him. Live Suzanne's writing. So sad this is the last in the series.

It's no secret that I love Suzanne Wright. She is one of my favorite authors. The Phoenix Pack was my favorite of all her series. Dominic stole my heart from book one with his corny pick up lines and playful charm. I was both excited and sad when I got Untamed Delights. Excited that I was finally getting Dom's HEA. Sad that it is the last book in the Phoenix Pack series. I don't want my favorite set of sexy badass shifters stories to stop. So I felt a little better at the end of the book when the author notes said we will still see our beloved favorites again in the new spin off series Olympus Pride. Though not my favorite in the series, I still really loved Untamed Delights. Dom was yummy and funny as always. I liked Mila a lot. They had off the wall sexual tension. I loved getting deeper with Dom and seeing new sides to him. I love the pallas cat shifters they are so crazy funny. Mila and Dom made a really cute couple. Seeing all the pack mates again and the kids melted my heart. It sometimes amazes me how attached I can become to a series. Reading this book made me want to go back and reread the whole series. I really loved Mila's family. Both sides were funny as hell. and I hope her brother Alex gets a book in the new spin off. I think one of my favorite parts in the whole book was the other males giving Dom a little pay back for all the flirting he did with their mates over the years. Overall a really good ending to a much loved series.

WOW! What a fantastic ending to a fantastic series! I love this book so much I’ve already read it twice!

It’s hot. It’s hilarious. It’s bittersweet. I can’t believe it’s the end! I was so frustrated waiting for Dominic’s for so long, but it was so worth it!

I tried not to have any hopes or expectations when it came to this book because I didn’t want to be disappointed after waiting for so long. But, Suzanne killed it! Dominic was everything I thought he’d be and so much more.

His ladylove, Mila, was awesome and perfectly fit Dominic. She gave as good as she got and in turn we got hilarious and witty conversations.

The plot follows the typical Suzanne formula, so you won’t be surprised, but it provides an interesting enough storyline. The background characters (specifically from the Olympus pride) were fantastic and I’m excited we’ll get to see more of them in her next series.

WHY does it have end??

I have followed this series since day dot and I have loved every second of it!

Finally we got Dominics story - I have been waiting for this since 2012 and I was not disappointed!

The writing was flawless, the characters fun to read, the storyline engrossing and of course the banter hilarious!

I have deeply enjoyed this world and I'm sad to see the end of it!

Looking forward to Shards of Glass and the spinoff to this series, can't wait to see some of these characters make an appearance!

As always, its 5 stars from me!

I hate that the end of the series is here but it goes out with a bang with Dom's story. I was not disappointed. Dom and Mila's story is everything I hoped it would be. We get to see that there is more to Dom than his flirting and one liners. Mila is just what Dom needs in a mate, she is strong and feisty. Great addition to the series.

It feels like we've been waiting forever for Dominic's book.  He's been a prevalent character in both the Phoenix Pack and Mercury Pack series.  He's endeared himself to so many with his cheesy one liners, caring heart, and bad boy tendencies.   Honestly I've come to see him as more of a big brother than a character I'd claim as a book boyfriend.  All that changed when I dove into this book.

Dominic is a complex character.  He's always come off as one dimensional, but when you really get into the nitty gritty of who he is a whole other man emerges.  I was surprised how quickly my view of him changed, and kept changing the more we got of him.  He was absolutely worth the wait.

Mila.  Oh Mila.  I wasn't sure what kind of woman Suzanne would create for Dominic.  I was eager to learn as much about Mila as possible,  and I won't deny it, I judged her.  Harshly.  I mean this is Dominic his woman had to be perfect, and worthy.  Mila lived up to the extremely high bar I had set for her.  I loved her as an individual and as Dominic's mate.

Lovers of this series will be more than happy with how this book plays out.  They will devour it in one sitting like I did, and they'll be singing Suzanne's praises when they finish.  Dominic's book lived up to the hype.

Wow, where to begin? I have finally gotten the book that I have been waiting for since the start of the series: Dominic’s book!

I wasn’t disappointed. It was such an amazing story and did the humor of this character justice, I couldn’t have asked for more on what the author gave in his and Mila’s story, Without fail Wright always seems to make me laugh and bring heart ace in the same couple of pages. It was such a treat to see the development of their relationship and I felt their chemistry was well written. I loved how the story started with a wounded(ish) Mila and the feelings of Dominic- it was a lot of fun to see their interaction and the development of their love for one another, the best was given to this character and i’m glad his story was taken with as much love as the other books that she has written.

I love how every new book brings something totally new to the table, it’s never the same story yet we get so many well developed and strong females as well as male characters. I am so excited to see what is next in the story and as always I will continue to pick up her titles and rave about the amazing storytelling this author gives to me.

Untamed Delights
by Suzanne Wright

HOLY COW! This book should be a comedy with a X rating. I have never laughed so hard from reading a book. I had laugh tears running down my face, it was that funny!

Mila Devereaux had finally decided it was time to leave her Pride and go to the family pride in Russia. Her true-mate imprinted and mated her cousin, and her cat needs to get away and heal. Maybe an arranged mating would be the best thing for her at this point in her life.

Dominic Black, a player with the one and done mentality. Seduction is a dance for him, no games and no leading the female on. He treated them with respect and gave them a night to remember. With having a relationship phobia, Dom feels safe in shallow relationships. But, one is going to come back and haunt him and his wolf.

The storyline of this book is so well plotted out. The crazy bantering that goes on between Mila and Dom is absolutely whacky and sexually intense. Not only that, the flashbacks of Mila’s childhood of fighting with her twin brother who happens to be a Wolverine, gives new meaning to sibling rivalry!

Read for yourself about all the craziness, assassination attempts, seductions, extremist attacks, sibling rivalries and sex that this book holds. Oh and you will also find compassion, forgiveness and love in it too!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am very sad that the Phoenix Pack series has come to an end, since it was one of my favourite shifter series of all time. Luckily there are some good news too. Suzanne, in the acknowledgements, stated that we will see these characters again in her newest series called the Olympus Pride. Can't wait :) Plus, this isn't the only series by Suzanne that I adore and follow, so I know that there is a lot more to expect from her in the future. And that makes me very happy, cause Suzanne is a sure thing for me.

As for Untamed Delights, I have to say that I enjoyed it a lot. I've been waiting for Dominic's story since I met him in Feral Sins and it did not disappoint.
I liked getting to know him better, seeing him as not only that fun and full of cheesy lines guy, who loved to tease his pack mates. After this book I love him even more.

Mila Devereaux was a great heroine too. Badass, strong and very likeable at the same time. And although she wasn't Dominic's true mate, she was perfect for him. This time it was not fate that decided that they should be together. It was their choice and even though I still love the concept of true mates, it was refreashing to read something a bit different, yet still amazing. Their story made me love imprined couples so much more.

There was quite a lot of action in this book too, which was an added bonus. It made the story of these two so much better and even more interesting to read. I enjoyed it a lot and can honestly recommend it to all of you that love shifter stories.

Wow. I've recently discovered this series and I was so excited for Dominic's story. I wanted more information on the relaxed, yet dominant male. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed!! I was able to read this before release date, courtesy of Netgalley.com for an honest review.

You guys. If you have read this series from the beginning (Or really any order), you know you form an attachment to these characters. I loved learning more about Dominic and his backstory. Suzanne Wright does a fantastic job of making sure you know these characters and the motivations behind their decisions. Dominic always seemed to act exactly how I expected him too. It wasn't a quick fall in love story; it took some time.

Let's talk about Mila. Her confidence throughout the novel is such a delight to read. It's interesting to read a story about a woman who won't get to experience her true mate but she doesn't hold it against him. She's such a big person and I thoroughly enjoy reading that type of heroine. She is accepting and ready to move forward instead of reacting pettily.

The action (as always) is enjoyable and the love scenes? Give a girl a fan. It is a fun journey that I hope everyone picks up. Be ready for a heart clencher at the epilogue, especially if you've been on the journey since Taryn and Trey.

Happy Reading!

I have been a huge fan of this series from the very beginning. I have picked up each book with a sense of excitement, having a pretty good idea of what the story will bring, and I haven’t been disappointed once. And this book delivered exactly what I was hoping for and more, as Dominic finally has his story told.

Dominic is the flirty player who has spent the last seven books dropping horrific pick up lines on whatever female happens to be in the vicinity. We’ve never really gotten a strong sense of who he is, and as we got to know and understand him more, and see him finally meet his match and fall and fall hard, I was absolutely captivated!

“You’re only on my ass because I’m the last unattached adult male in the pack. Just because the rest of you are mated doesn’t mean it’s wrong that I’m not. And just because all of you are happy in your mating doesn’t mean that being single makes me unhappy.”

With shallow relationships, there was no need to open up. But when it came to mating bonds, you had to give it everything you were. Dominic wasn’t sure he was ready for that. And if he couldn’t be sure that he was someone a female could fully trust, rely on, and care for, he had no business asking anything more from her than what he could give in return.

Mila is a pallas cat shifter who is dealing with the fact that her true mate has imprinted on another – her cousin, in fact. It’s devastating to realise that the one person fate deemed was hers rejected her before he even knew her, and she is doomed a life without her one. Not only is she hurt, but her cat just cannot cope, so she is planning on up and moving to her family’s home country of Russia and is considering an arranged mating when Dominic comes into the picture.

Mila knows Dominic’s reputation, and she initially wants nothing to do with the Phoenix Pack enforcer. But the wolf is persistent, and it doesn’t take too long for him to wear her down, and the fireworks that follow are sizzling!

He dipped his head and pressed a kiss to her neck. “We’re friends. Friends make each other come.”
She chuckled. “No, they don’t.”
“Special friends do.”

“I was kidding myself when I thought I could stay away from you.”

Like the other couples in this series, there is snark and banter, flirting and teasing, and a whole lot of sexual tension. They are honest with each other, they are functional and sensible about their situation, and I loved watching them find their way forward.

“You want it rough?”
“Yes” she bit out.”
“Why?” he lazily thrust back inside her. “So you can pretend this is just fucking? It’s not, Mila … You know it’s not.”

I love Dominic in the role of romantic hero. He throws himself all in with Mila, and there’s no turning back for him. He is still a complete flirt with a filthy mouth, but he is focussed only on his girl, and he is super protective and possessive, surprisingly swoony and gorgeously romantic. He reveals his vulnerabilities to Mila, and she is there to have his back, and even though she takes some convincing, I love that she is able to look past her pain and accept Dominic as a part of her life.

“I’m making the choice, here and now, to explore this with you. I’d be a fucking fool to walk away from it. I point-blank refuse to. I want to see where this can go. And so do you … Don’t overthink this, Mila. There’s no need to. Just stay … Stay with me.”

It's so beautiful to watch!

But as their romance is unfolding, they have both become targets to outsiders, and are forced to deal with threats, violence, dangerous media attention, anti-shifter protestors, and more than one attempted assassination. It’s action-packed and exciting, and there’s a great sense of mystery and suspense as I worked to figure out who the bad guy was. I thought I had it nailed a couple of times, but the twists and turns kept me guessing, and I was completely sucked in as it all played out.

The rest of the Phoenix Pack are all a part of the action, and I loved seeing them. Settled and happy, their stories continue to progress, and they not only there for Dominic as he enters into a relationship for the first time, but they fight by his side to protect him and Mila from the dangers that they are facing.

I particularly love the set up to this story. Of course the true mate bonding is always awesome to read about, but Dominic and Mila choose each other. They fall for each other and choose to be together, and in their world that is a very special thing indeed. Especially considering what the two of them have been through, and the rejection that they both deal with from incidents in their pasts. It’s beautiful to see them come together so naturally and then embrace it when things start to become serious between them.

“I swear, baby, this is the only place I want to be. I’ve never wanted, never needed, anything the way I do you. I should have known you’d make yourself this important to me. Should have seen it coming. You’re sweet and funny and bitchy and beautiful and so fucking strong. The best thing in my world. No one will ever be – no one could ever be – who you are to me. And I don’t have even the slightest intention of ever letting you go.”

Swooooooooooooooon!

I loved this book so much. It’s an immensely enjoyable read that is funny, exciting, super steamy and beautifully romantic with lots of paranormal goodness. It’s a fitting end for a fantastic series, and I’m so glad that it’s gone out on such a high.

4.5 stars.

Another great installment in the series! I've been anxiously awaiting Domenic's story and I was bit disappointed. Plenty of action and romance to keep me interested. My only suggestion would be pack charts. As both series progress there are so many characters and I'm not sure I'm keeping them all straight! Can't wait for the next one!

Another great addition to a great series. I did enjoy this one, although I missed seeing more of the wolves. This one has Mila, a pallas cat/wolverine mix, and Dominic, one of the wolf enforcers from the pack. I did enjoy this one, and would highly recommend it. Took a bit to get into though, but glad I stuck it out. Fun shifter romance, that is a perfect summer read.

Dominic is still my favorite of the Phoenix pack and this book lived up to my expectations. I give this a full 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Dominic lived up to all my expectations with his hilarious wit and awesomely creative and cheesy one liners and sexual innuendos. Only this time he devoted them strictly to one person instead of the mates of his friends and pack. Mila is a girl he meets in the Mercury run bar and at first he sees her as a short fling but quickly figures out he feels more for her than he usually does with women.

For those detractors that are disappointed in the fact that they are not true mates, and I have seen a few reviews that say that. Stating that it is getting old. I don’t know what series they have been reading, but if I remember correctly, most of the previous books have been about the couples actually being true mates but not realizing it at first because something was in the way of the bond forming, like emotional issues.

However in this one, I actually thought it was refreshing that they knew from the start that they were not true mates so they were not pining for that true mate link. Mila was at the very beginning but she got over it very quickly when she started to get the hots for Dominic. And really who wouldn’t? Dominic is hot and apparently so is another part of his anatomy and he isn’t afraid to tell everybody. This book was steamy!

The storyline about the threats was pretty great also. Suzanne Wright has a great formula for these books, where they all have a few standard elements including a romance between one of the main characters in the pack and another person, storyline to keep the war between the shifters and the human extremists going, and a storyline where a character in the romance is in danger or is searching for something in order to resolve something in their life. This formula works very well. It gives the romance additional angst or depth, it adds a lot of action and usually it adds some awesome fight sequences. I love it and could read as many more as she can write.
