I got this free for an honest review from netgalley. I have brought and read the other book in this series as well as the mercury spin off series. If you have read the others I'd highly recommend this book as it is mainly about Dom and his mate Mila. Com pack mates have fun with this as he liked to flirt with there mates before and after there mating. This book was written well and an enjoyable read and would highly recommend it you have read the other books.
I love Suzanne Wright and devour everything she writes. She was my introduction to PNR and the standard I hold most others to. That being said, this one was not my favorite. There was just too much going on. We have OW/OM (multiples), fated mates and not fated mates (multiples), stalkers, assassins, and soooo much more. There didn't need to be so many different plot points and truthfully I was exhausted by them all at the end. The resolutions weren't as satisfying because they were stacked on top of each other. It was just... too much. Due to tying up all of those plot points I thought the book was too long and dragged in places.
It says right in the blurb that the h's fated mate has bonded with someone else but I never thought I'd be sad about it. I didn't feel the coupling was as satisfying because the whole concept of fated mates, your absolute partner for life, is what I read shifter PNR for.
I know this was the final book in the Phoenix Pack series so I can still appreciate all of the OTT situations. It was still Suzanne Wright through and through and that is extremely entertaining! I'm stoked for the new series now so bring it on!
Dominic has been the flirty scene-stealer since book one and I know we have all been waiting for his book with breath bated.
And it was a solid showing.
As all we Wright fans know, Wright follows a fairly specific formula throughout all her Phoenix/Mercury Pack books. And we all know what that formula is. Some readers might be bothered this. They want original story-telling and yadda, yadda, yadda. But you know what I like?
A sure thing.
And every time I open a Wright book, I know I am going to enjoy the crap out of it.
Something I also loved about this specific installment is that, in my opinion, Dominic stayed true to the characterization Wright cultivated for him over the course of the first seven books. Obviously, his cheesy lines became a little more...directed once he got involved with the heroine, but it was still very present.
Something else I really liked about this book also is the fact that Dominic and Mila are not true mates. This is not a spoiler, by the way. It's stated in the blurb and alluded to immediately upon starting. I enjoyed the element of choice and the way life circumstances can affect our opinion of what may or may not be fated.
Anysameshit, if this is the first review of mine on a book from this series and you haven't read some of the...discussion points I alluded to above, I'll just do you a solid and link some of those reviews below for those interested.
I think fans of the series will be pleased with this installment. I am sad to see the end of The Phoenix Pack series (which Wright states this book represents in the author notes). But I look forward to more from <i>The Mercury Pack</i> and <i>Dark in You</i> series.
Sigh, I love Suzanne Wright. I honestly have not read anything of hers I did not love.
And boy, have I been waiting for Dominic's book. I really, really loved it. This book was the culmination of the Phoenix Pack's story, the last enforcer to find his lady love.
I think we all had a huge soft spot for the crazy, outlandishly, cheesy one-liner that is Dominic. It was so good to see the man behind 'the lines'. I was also good to see him finally want to work for something. Dominic was always painted as the easy-going, carefree guy that courted his own death by shamelessly flirting with all his friends' mates. I honestly thought the guys would have gone after him more. In this installment, you finally get to see more of him, see why he is the way he is, and why he acts the way he does. And refreshingly, he doesn't change who he is once we do see more.
Mila is a smokey-voiced Pallas cat shifter who is also part wolverine. I mean, that's almost as badass as being a damn honey badger, lol. Mila works as a barber by day and lounge singer by hobby on weekends. She is so different from who Dominic usually goes for but her voice and stage presence really resonates with Dom.
Mila is suffering because she found her one true mate just as he was beginning to imprint with another. She recognized that he was happy and in love and forced herself to let him go. But her cat cannot forgive. To make matters worse, the happy couple decided to join her pack and the male has inadvertently sought her out, in a friendship platonic sort of way. Mila wants to do the right thing and let him be happy, but her cat wants to scratch his eyes out every time she sees him. Mila's solution was to visit her mother's pack from Russia and have an arranged mating.
Then enters Dominic and throws her world upside down. And, oh boy, this story doesn't end there. Dominic has his own past that keeps trying to come for him as well.
The mystery is layered but plays out wonderfully. I really enjoyed that this did not all occur in 1 week but over a good amount of time.
Can I just say, I loved Mila's family? Her Dad cracked me up! The secondary characters were great. We were introduced to another pack and get to see the Pallas cats again. The Phoenix pack and some of the Mercury pack show, we get an update with who has pups or kits, and how everyone is. Dominic also gets some really good advice from those that went before him, which I found surprising. I really thought they'd let him dangle more. But in all honesty, I find it more endearing that they didn't because it shows what a true family they all are.
This book wonderfully rounded out the series and is an absolute must-read.
This was an ARC generously provided by NetGalley. Thank you, thank you, thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher!
For the last book in the Phoenix Pack series, it seems fitting that Dominick would be the last wolf to fall. He's been giving come on lines to all the guys mates, it was time for the player to be get some payback.
I loved Dominick and Mila. I've been wanting to see more depth into Dominicks character since we first met him. For being such a player, he really handled the other women well once he meets Mila.
Mila was an awesome heroine. I absolutely loved how she handled so many situations. She just came off so mature and respectable. She was the perfect mate for Dominick.
There is a lot going on in this book. It's filled to the brim with action and multiple storylines all orbiting around these two. Despite being a lot to deal with, it did show how well these two handled things together. It was also great to see recurring characters.
I have to say I'm pretty sad that this series over, but so thrilled to hear that the author will be giving us glimpses of these characters in a new series she has in the works. I love them so much, I don't want to let them go and I'm excited for the new characters we will get to know.
With this story it’s time to bid a last farewell to the Phoenix Pack that I have followed since the beginning. There’s been changes galore, new Pack members and even new alliances but throughout I could count in two things, firstly Greta will never think any female is good enough for her boys and second that Dominic could be relied on for truly abysmal cheesy lines ! So this book was a total surprise as there’s a whole new side to Dominic that the author explores with insight into just why he’s so carefree and seeing him finally grow enough to trust that Mila could and would totally one hundred percent commit to him was a bittersweet and much needed moment. For this big strong Wolf to have feared he would never be enough to find what he needed was a fabulous way to end this series.
Now I mentioned Mila and she’s not exactly a run of the mill character. She has issues with truly annoying relatives but even more shocking is the fact that her Fated Mate doesn’t want her ! I cannot say more but this story stretches the idea of what is destined and just whether or not free will can change things. Add in the anti Shifter movement that creates problems here and you would expect that the author can rest on her laurels but no because there’s more treachery and deceit at work with attack’s you would never expect and a twist that allows these Predators to show just how bloodthirsty they really are. I can honestly say that the final third of this story was so intense I didn’t want to put it down and sleep. Plus there’s an epilogue that just made me smile although if it’s hot and heavy romance you seek then trust me when I say Dominic is not one to take no for an answer! Definitely much more dominant than I ever expected but that’s what I love about this series because every time I get surprised.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair
A good end to the series. Dominic has always been a ladies’ man. Women fall in and out of his bed easily. It was good that he had to work to get Mila. Looking forward to more Pallas/Wolverine books!

Warning: I am not a robot! I have feelings, thoughts, likes and dislikes and this review is based on that. You should read the book to form your own opinion/thoughts. Read on!
Rating: Super 5 stars
The cover, I just love it, period.
The story, when I received the ARC, I started reading it without seeing the blurb, any excerpt, not a thing, I went in blind. Imagine my surprise when I see that it is Dominic's! I really loved Mila, how they were with each other. I liked reading about Dominic's past. Mila has some enemies, Dominic has too, and both enemies want to hurt Mila as much as they can, even kill her. I believe she is the character that has been closer to death several times in a single book than all the other characters, every time felt real, and it made me seriously think that SW was going to make us watch the death of a character and that this book would be darker but she didn't....or did she?
The romance, Yowza! Dominic does know his way around...sigh...
Milena, she is strong, stubborn but not dumb to let a man walk all over her. She knows how to say what she needs and wants.
Dominic, I really thought that when Dominic got his forever after, that all the males will be more annoying with him or rather with his woman. But, I really loved that we got to see the real him, and not just the playboy. He has a heart of gold.
The ending, this is the last book in the Phoenix Pack!!! Snif snif.. I loved how every couple was mentioned, their futures. Loved Roni's!!
Overall, did I like the book? Nope...I.LOVED.IT, with every beat of my little black heart. Would I recommend it? Absolutely...go ahead, read it, you won't regret it.

Finally, we have Dominic’s book! We’ve all been waiting a long time to see him find his mate, and I totally love Mila. This is a bittersweet one though as it’s the final book in the series, but what a journey it’s been. What a great story and bookend to the Phoenix Pack series. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and devoured it in a day.
Absolutely recommend.
Untamed Delights is a brilliant read in the Phoenix pack series. Here we have pack enforcer Dominic’s story, he has been a presence in the previous books known for his womanising ways and cheesy one liners, I’d just thought of him as a trivial extra, a rather annoying one at that. How wrong I was, once we learn of Dominic’s background we come to realise what depth of character he has and everything else is just a front to protect him from how he was treated by his parents in the past.
When he meet Mila a Pallas cat he’s met his match and falls hard for her. The relationship takes time to develop but does so beautifully.
This is a strong well written, extremely entertaining read, with a cast of characters good and downright evil. There was a lot of depth to this book and the prejudice encounters is no different than what occurs in today’s society if you are different. There was more hardcore violence than usual but in this case very necessary. Although the last book in this series, I await the next with great anticipation.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for the opportunity to review this book honestly.
5 stars
Wow!!
This book was so worth the wait, I didn’t want it to end I was glued to the pages from the first word the the last. This was the perfect story for Dom and his mate definitely made him work for it, prepare for steam lots of yummy goodness.
There is so much action in this book that you will be gripped.
I’m sad that this was the last Phoenix pack book but I know we will see more of these characters in the new series this author has planned.
More Pallas cats I can’t wait!!
I loved the glimpse into there future as they settle into the lives and relationships it was a perfect epilogue and I finished this book with a big smile.
I can’t wait for Eli’s book and to get to know more about the Olympus pride.
I enjoyed my visit to the this world
Thank you to the author for creating these characters this world and for sharing them with us readers
I voluntarily read this book in exchange for an honest review.
I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. Another great book in the series and a nice close. I was a little nervous about Dominic’s story. He was such a comedian and Lothario ( as described by other characters) that he didn’t seem to have much depth however his attitude was shaped by his dismissive upbringing. He seemed to meet his match in Mila who was impressed with his GQ looks and attitude. Their relationship had ups and downs as they had to work against anti shifter humans and other shifters that seemed to want them apart but their attraction to each other( and the heat from it) could not keep them apart. There was a nice blend of humor, heat and mystery with lots of familiar faces along the way. Also the ending was great , tying up a lot of stories but hopefully it’s just the end for now and not forever (more books please). 5 stars
Wow, I can't believe that this is already the eighth book of this series. Time sure does fly by, especially with these great characters. I have to admit that I forgot some of the characters stories from previous books but given that the first one came out seven years ago I think I can be forgiven. Anyway, from what I do remember of the previous reads, I had some reservations about Dominic's character since he was such a huge flirt and the ladies sure did love him (and still do in this book). But turns out that my prejudice was just that. In the end I fell in love with his unique humor and how he deep down was actually a great guy. He just needed the right woman or better said the right pallas cat to make him overcome his insecurities. And don't even get me started on Mila's character. She truly is awesome. She's the most no bullshit and down to earth character I've read in a long while. That is until you try to cross her, then she's the devil cat incarnate, which btw I'm all down for. I mean, if someone had to go through so much stuff as she did, you bet I'd be so angry not even the pope could save me. At times it even felt like I was reading a Game of Thrones episode, so much treachery... But in the end, I loved it all. Even the crazy exes didn't bother me, not in the slightest. Save to say they all got what the deserved, ha! It always feels great when you know that you can count on the author to do right by the characters and essentially by the reader. So, can I say that I liked and enjoyed the story? Sure can! I even think that this one, apart from the first book, is my favourite story of this series. Everything just fits. And on that note, if you read the previous books in this series and aren't sure about this one, then I would highly recommend you read it. Bacause it's amazing and I'm sure you won't be regreting it.
Mila is a cat shifter with a voice that would make angels cry. She finds her true mate but he has imprinted on another shifter. To escape them she has decided to move to Russia and go into an arranged marriage her uncles have set up. Dominic is a wolf enforcer, the biggest flirt and never keeps a woman for more than one night. He isn’t looking for his true mate but he does want one night with Mila, when he sees her sing at a club. She continually turns him down but finally gives in. Mila has a bounty on her head and several attempts have been made on her life. The more time he spends with Mila, the less likely he is to let her go.
I absolutely loved this book! I have been waiting for Dominic’s story and was not disappointed. The Russian uncles are hilarious. The sex is steamy and there is plenty of action and mystery. Some old friends and new ones. Be prepared to laugh out loud.
Untamed Delights made me laugh so hard that tears ran down my face, made me sit on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding, and hit me in the heart. Dominic and Mila’s story gave me all the feels. I fell a little in love with Dom while watching him with his Mila. These two made my kindle smoke. Dom and Mila are both strong, independent individuals who are the perfect half the other needs in a mate. I really loved Dom and Mila’s story. That epilogue though! I could not put this book down. I love falling into this world and I cannot wait to revisit it. Untamed Delights is a book I highly recommend reading.
Another well deserved 5 stars
I have been waiting for this book since i first read feral sins in 2017 when i discovered suzanne wright.
and i can it was 100% worth the wait.
ahhh Dominic i knew he would have deep deep layers and he did not let me down. he is complicated we finally get to see past his lady killer smile and killer good looks and into the "self protection wall"
Mila Devereaux she is everything a kick ass female should be smart, funny, strong and also has a lot of self respect. she is perfect for our favourite naughty wolf. throughout the book we got to meet more of the Olympus pack
and that epilogue OMG! it was everything but bittersweet at the same time i am happy i dont have to say goodbye to my favourite characters and the amazing world Suzanne has built.
I am looking forward to reading the next series from this world and seeing everyone again
**ARC received via NetGalley**
Another fantastic book in the Phoenix Pack series, reading Untamed Delights is actually bittersweet because it is the last book in this series. Pack enforcer Dominic, a known playboy, has been such a goofy and fun character throughout the whole series, so I was really excited to finally see him fall for a woman. Mila is just plain awesome. I love googling the pallas cats, they look so cute and cuddly but they are just crazy, I loved it!! She was just perfect for Dominic, she knew just how to respond to all his naughty ways. But kidding all aside, there are some sadness intertwined in all the silliness. Poor Mila has to be in close proximity with her unsuspecting true mate and the woman he has imprinted on. For her and her cat to live in some kind of peace, she has decided to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, Dominic has set his eyes on her and is determined to have her.
Dominic, the last unmated male in the Phoenix Pack, is so much more than the reputed lothario, he portrays himself to be. When we learn of his childhood, my heart broke for him. So because of this, he built a wall around himself and didn’t allow himself to be vulnerable ever again. But with Mila the wall slowly starts to crack. As much as they both try to fight it, there definitely is a connection between these two. I absolutely loved the scenes when Dominic interacts with Mila’s cat.
Like in every book in this series and the Mercury Pack series, there is an epic battle that we see coming. In this one, it was a bit different, a bit more personal for the main characters, but still brutal and actually shocking with a lot of twists and turns that I didn’t see coming.
There were so many things I loved about this book; the chemistry, the continued nautiness of Dominic, the banter, one-liners that come from Dominic’s packmates to Mila and Mila’s family themselves. A great conclusion to an amazing series. Definitely a 5-star read.
Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Publishing for the complimentary copy of Untamed Delights. All opinions are my own.
This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
I have been waiting for a long time for Dominic's turn to find his mate! It was great that Mila just wast not falling at his feet and every encounter she challenged him. I loved as we watched their attraction escalate and each day they fall a little more for each other.
The rest of the Phoenix pack along with Mila's pack were a great addition to the story as we see previous couples and new pack members which we can only hope to see more of in future books. It was so funny when the rest of the males in the Phoenix pack came up with the one-liners to Mila after all the times that Dominic did it to their mates!!
There were so many things happening in this book that I just could not put it down and had to keep reading to find out who was behind the attempts on Mila's life. There were a couple people that I suspected but was totally surprised when the person was revealed and the reason behind it!
I was so worried when Dominic finally started having doubts and was ready to run. You just could see that Mila was not going to put up with that and that would be the end if he left.
The epilogue was such a great look into their future with their children growing up! I am so sad that this is the last book for the Phoenix pack.
I am beyond delighted (see what I did there) to be able to read this book as an ARC from Netgalley. Dominic's story was so interesting and I really enjoyed being able to delve into his history and rational. Mila was a great character too. She was so strong and no-nonsense and yet really accepting of people. The plot was pretty busy. There were baddies coming at them from every corner but I loved the way Wright did the mating this time. It was such a firm and conscious decision. I'm a little sad that the Phoenix pack is done, unless we get some books about the kidlets, which would be awesome.
I'm so sad to see this series end, but I couldn't be happier with the way that it did. Dominic and Mila put a permanent smile on my face while I was reading their story. Dominic has been the character throughout this series that was always a strong presence and the one that I was dying to see finally find his mate. Mila was honestly the perfect woman for him and his raunchy jokes. She always found the perfect responses to his silliness and I loved that about them. Seriously, they were the most adorable couple.
There was also a lot of action going on in the story that had me on the edge of my seat. I was constantly questioning what was going to happen and I had no clue who was behind everything. Which I loved since I always think the best books are the ones that can keep be guessing.
One of the things I enjoy the most from this series is how the Pack comes together to solve whatever problem is currently happening, and in this book we had the bonus of also seeing that with Mila's family, the Olympus Pride. Getting to see more of those characters has me excited to see what Ms. Wright is planning for their own series.
