What a way to kick off a new series! I simply loved Evie and damn if Dylan isn't nearly perfect! This book kept me guessing while serving up some hot romance! I cannot wait to see what comes next for all the players in this game!

Bishop's Knight is the first in a new series by this entertaining Author .

Evie Bishop is a spy and used Dylan Blackwood as a means of meeting her true target …………. unfortunately they fell in love but Evie knows that she cannot live a like and "ghosts" him . If she wants him back .and she does ….. then the only way forward is to tell him the truth ….will he forgive her ?
Now someone has put her brother Evan in hospital with a bomb in his office and her other brother Ellis is on the run , wanted for murder .
Who is after them and why ?
The story takes many twists and turns , with lots of fast paced action and steamy romance around every corner .

I loved this story and look forward to the next in the series

Bishop's Knight by Katie Reus is fabulous start to the new series Endgame Trilogy.

From the first page my interest was captured and I didn't put it down until I finished. This is one of those books you keep telling yourself just one more chapter which ends up with you reading late into the night as you can't put it down lol

I love Katie Reus writing, she has a way with her words that makes you invested in her characters and the story unfolding in front of you.

Bishop's Knight was such a good read, I loved getting to know the characters and I loved how the author has included a storyline that will be unveiled between the remaining Bishop siblings.
Looking forward to reading their books and watching the conclusion of this excellent series.

Bishop's Knight in the first book in the Endgame Trilogy, you get to watch Evie and Dylan get their second chance at love and it leaves you wanting for the next book Bishop's Queen Evan Bishop and Isla MacDonald story.

Evie is in trouble and she thinks the only man she can turn to hates her. Dylan proposed to her a year ago and was positive she'd say yes but he was surprised when she ghosted him immediately. What he didn't know was that Evie was a spy who used him to meet a target. Once the mission was done even though she loved Dylan she didn't think it would be safe to be with him. Also he didn't know the real her. When Dylan sees Evie again he realizes that he never stopped caring about her. First they have to stay alive then they can explore a new relationship. I really enjoyed this book!

Bishop’s Knight - Katie Reus

This book was such an easy read and still so gripping. The main character Evie Bishop is much more than an ordinary woman. She’s complex and dangerous, she loves fiercely and protects everyone she cares about.

Dylan Blackwood is the man of Evie’s dreams but they started their relationship on a lie. She has to tell him the truth and hope he forgives her.

It’s tense and gripping, there’s twists and turns that keep you reading page after page without wanting to stop.

I fully enjoyed this book and am very much looking forward to the next.

Katie Reus new series is one reader and fans of her are going to love. The story starts off with a bang, murder and mayhem and evolves into a story with heart and soul. Steamy romance, action, characters readers will love and long enough to for a beach read or pool side moment.

The author has stated these can be read as a stand alone novel but I have a feeling readers will want to read every single written word in this new series by Katie Reus.

Readers are going to wonder how the author is able to pack a punch to the heart and soul in so few words.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Author Katie Reus.

From the beginning Bishop’s Knight was intriguing. Evie Bishop is a strong tough agent but every bit of a woman. Reading her heartbreak over Dylan and family problems was heartbreaking but she never gives up or stops looking for ,justice for her love ones. Dylan is that guy that no woman wants to walk away from and he proves to be everything you thought he would be.

I really enjoyed Bishop’s Knight and I intend on preordering the book so I have it once it’s released. Katie Reus always delivers a riveting story.

I am a big fan of this author, and this newest book blew me out of the water! I adored the intrigue just as much as the romance. I love a good second chance romance, and Ms. Reus can write them like no others. Evie is such a strong heroine who can take care of herself. Dylan is the perfect hero, and I loved that he was open to being vulnerable with her.The plot was fast-paced and kept me on my toes. The ending was just perfection. I loved the secondary characters as well and am SO looking forward to Evan and Isla's story! The author did a great job of setting up that story without taking away from the current one, and it totally has me hooked. Eagerly awaiting book 2!

I could not put this book down, once I stated reading. This book reminded me of the tv show Alias. While undercover Evie Bishop, changed up her appearance so she wouldn’t be recognized. Until she did an op that had her being herself. She met Dylan Blackwell. He was supposed to be an asset, not a love interest. A year later, her family is falling apart, more books about that I’m hoping, and an old partner shows up hurt. Wherever Evie, goes, it seems danger follows her. This is a smooth read book. Everything that happens, it’s all in the right places, no jumping around. It’s smooth. Looking forward to next Bishop books by ms. Reus.

What a great start to a new series! Evie's past has come back to haunt her and she has to face the fact that she used the man she fell in love with and now has to ask for his help.

A few red herrings and twists along the way so you don't know who is trying to kill Evie and her friend, or why! Along with the attempts to kill them, Evie had one brother on the run from after being framed for a murder and another brother in the hospital after surviving a bombing.

You know it is going to be bad when Evie's secret comes out to Dylan that she was supposed to target him and get close to him so she could get an invitation to their "real" target. Will Dylan realize that even though she initially planned to use him that she fell for him and didn't sleep with him for her job?!

The book was filled with drama and intrigue and I stayed up way too late to finish it! I am really looking forward to the next book when Evie's brother, Evan, has to protect his former fiance after he cut all ties with her.

Evie Bishop is a strong person and she has to be. After years of government work and now she is forced to seek help from the one person she doesn’t want to turn to. Dylan Blackwood. Dylan is handsome, rich, and so much in love with Evie he can’t turn her away even though she ran from him before. I admired Evie and how she protected those she loved. Turning to Dyan took a lot of courage from her and yet the attraction these two had, made their story even better. Lots of twists, suspense and of course romance!
Bishop’s Knight is a great start to Katie’s new Endgame Trilogy and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

This is a fabulous little read.

I loved nearly everything about it.

Evangeline is a strong, capable, intelligent female lead and her friend and ex-colleague Samara is equally good. Can I just say how nice it is to read a book with not one but two great females.

The book opens with both Evie and Samara on a mission for the CIA. It then switches to the present and Evie is home in Miami. Her life is not going as planned.
Her oldest brother Evan is in hospital after a bomb took out his office.
Her other brother Ellis is in hiding somewhere. He’s wanted for he murder of one of his partners with the DEA.
And Evie. Well she’s still in love with Dylan Blackwood and who can blame her?

At this point I also have to thank the author for Dylan. 🥰

In amongst all this Samara turns up at her doorstep bleeding from a bullet wound. And so the excitement begins.

This is first and foremost a romance. The story itself isn’t to be scrutinised too closely. But as an exciting romance it’s fabulous.

My issues were minor but here they are.

My knowledge of the CIA is virtually nonexistent but...
Would an agent be allowed to take on a mission as herself?
Using her own family and friends?
Also I find it surprising that after leaving the CIA you get to keep top-level clearance for a year.

“Will do.” Evie might not be CIA anymore but she still had top-level clearance, at least for another six months.

Plus.
It’s a pet hate of mine when one character holds off revealing something that everyone knows needs to come out. This just annoys me. I’ll admit it didn’t annoy me as much here because I was loving this book. But fair is fair I complained about another book doing this only days ago.

Finally my last moan I promise.
Evie constantly moans about how she has no future with Dylan

She had no future with Dylan Blackwood. He was a former lover, a former asset, former…everything.
He sure as hell wasn’t part of her future though. Even if she wanted him to be.
Because if she allowed herself to even think that might be possible, she would have to acknowledge that she would have to tell him the truth. And if she did that, he’d leave her for sure. So she was cutting things off as soon as possible.

We all know going in how this book is going to end so this goes on for far too long.

This all sounds way more negative than I intended. I really enjoyed this read and with Dylan’s help this came close to a 5* read and that doesn’t happen often.

I can’t wait for the next book. Bishop’s Queen.

I have no idea how many books I have already read by Katie Reus, but they were a lot. I especially like her Darkness Series and (surprise, surprise) her Red Stone Security. So when I knew that this would be kind of a spin off from RSS, I had to read it. I love how her books are always right to the point and make it seem as if I am watching an action filled movie, rather than reading a book. Seriously, all of this author’s books would make great action movies, better than most stuff out there!
I adored Evie Bishop, the heroine in this book who was kick-ass and a great character overall. She was loyal and honest and had such a big heart, my own broke with her when she told her story. I loved the glimpses we saw of a softer side. A side almost completely hidden from other with years of spy training and playing her role perfectly. I loved how she never gave up on her brothers and her family. Dylan on the other hand was almost too soft for a Katie Reus’ hero, but he was the perfect match for Evie and I liked how they fit together and developed together to see that it doesn’t have to be either or, but can easily be an “and” as long as you fight for it.
The writing style was great and easy to read and I clicked with the characters and the plot almost immediately. There was only one thing that I have as a negative point (as in most KR books): the book was too short. I wanted to stay there forever and while everything was solved and there were barely any questions open (other than the one big one that will probably be solved in book 3), but I did not want this book to end. It was finished, yes, but so good that I really really really wished for more scenes, to just stay a bit longer.

Evie fell in love with Dylan on her opp with the CIA. She though felt too much guilt, and love to accept his engagement ring. She now regrets no marrying him, and thinks of him often, but has remained away from him due to her own guilt in using him to get close a wanted man. Evie has finally come home and retired from the CIA.

This is a new series from author Katie Reus, possible spin-off or just character association from her 'Red Stone Security' series. I love these types of books, mystery, action, suspense, and sexy hot, sexy scenes. I loved this book! This is one book I could not put down! As in, I read this in one day, house work can wait!

I love a strong heroine that can hold her own, Evie Bishop did not disappoint. She's an ex-CIA agent that gets caught up in helping her friend and CIA agent Samara, who was shot. Suspecting the attempt on Samara's life to be a possible inside job, she turns to the one man she knows she can trust.

Dylan is an ex-Marine, now a millionaire. I love that he is a strong capable hero but not the type to be arrogant about is ability's. I wasn't sure how the relationship with Evie and Dylan was going to be repaired but the author did an amazing job with the story. Will Dylan be able to handle the new side of Evie?

I can't wait to see how the rest of the series goes! Would I recommend this series to friends and family? Not just a yes but a heck YES!

Evie Knight is (ex) CIA, but hasn’t lost any of her skills. When a former team member shows up on her doorstep claiming they are both in danger, Evie goes to Dylan Blackwood, the one person she knows will help, even if their personal relationship is a little mucked up.

Evie is a feisty little thing, with a heart of gold and an unshakeable faith in the greater good. I liked the contrast with her CIA position because it grounded why Evie does the job in the first place. I also enjoyed her family ties, and her sense of humor.

Dylan is my dream hero! He’s not only cool, calm, and mostly collected, he respects Evie and doesn’t stuff her in a corner so he can save the day. He lets her work and plays her supportive backup. He also has feelings and expresses them without losing any masculinity! Evie doesn’t have to hunt down and dig to what Dylan thinks about her.

Anyone who has read Reus knows suspense and romance go hand in hand and Bishop’s Knight is no different! The suspense comes barreling out and doesn’t stop until the end, but Dylan and Evie’s second-chance romance was like lighting a match to dry kindling. These two burned up the pages when they had their chances, leaving raw emotions all over the place!

Reus has nailed it again! Bishop’s Knight is the first book of a new trilogy (yaaaaaay!!!) and I have fallen for the three Knight siblings! I also loved the Red Stone Security cameos 😉. I’ll be waiting on pins and needles to see what happens next!

Oh!Oh!Oh! What a great start to a new series! Evie is an ex CIA agent who just can’t seem to get away from the danger and excitement of the business! Dylan is the man she used to crack one of her cases! Now he wants to be her main case! He has the strength and the love to win! Together they are hot! Can’t wait for the next book.

BISHOP’S..KNIGHT...Kathie Rues.
Special OPs mission of three months was to end tonight . Small mafia operation selling weapons to terrorists, wanting to take him out, before it got to be a big problem. Evie worked on the side of grey with the CIA , this wasn’t how it was to be. Her brother Ellis was in hiding, accused of murdering one of his partner’s with the DEA, which she knew wasn’t true, he was being set up.
Another brother in a coma. Then Samantha an operative from her past comes to her, bleeding. An OPs from the past is gunning for them. A man from her past, is the only one who could help, but would he, after she turned him down. Full of action, past memories, and a mission of the past to clear up once and for all.
Given. ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion by Net Galley and K R Press.

This is Evie and Dylan‘s book, it’s the first book in the endgame trilogy series but can be read as a standalone. After years of doing black ops work Evie is burned out! One of her brothers is in a coma and the other one is wanted for murder and in hiding! When a fellow operative from her past shows up bleeding on her doorstep with news that an assassin is gunning for everyone involved with their past op, She’s forced to turn to the one man whose heart she broke! Dylan years ago proposed to Evie and she turned him down flat and walked out of his life! He’s shocked when he finds her on his doorstep covered in someone else’s blood needing his help. He always knew there was more to her then just a pampered princess but he never expected this! This book was really good and it’s definitely a standalone I was a little nervous when I read it was a trilogy but it definitely can be read by itself! This book had a lot of suspense, action, definitely had some steam to it And just an all-around great read! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
