This book is superb, I feel almost addicted to these books, I can’t wait to read the next one.
Roll on the next one.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for letting me read this book in exchange for a review, I will be putting this review on Amazon too.
I have not read the other books in this series so I am judging this as a stand alone. I enjoyed the story but found it to be very similar to Nadine Dorries and I prefer Nadine Dorries’ style of writing. I could not seem to connect with many of the characters but that may be because I have not read the rest of the series. I liked the references to Florence Nightingale. I am giving 4 stars but would probably not choose to read the rest of the series.
Thank you Netgalley, Kate Eastham and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to give my unbiased opinion.
This is the third book in the series and it certainly didn’t disappoint
A well written book which had a great storyline and also excellent descriptions
A great read
A lovely read, thoroughly enjoyed the friendship between the nurses. A great writing style and I have come to expect heartwarming sagas from the author. She definitely doens't disappoint here!
Another lovely book about the nurses, their friendship and love in times to test all involved with charactors that mix so well.5*well done to the author.
Another excellent book by Kate Eastham! It is a continuing saga about life in a hospital during the time of Florence Nightingale, and concerns the life of a pregnant nurse Alice Sampson who worked at the Liverpool Royal Infirmary. Very enjoyable and gives one an idea of life in the 1800's for women, especially in this case nurses.
