The tenacity and drive of Chinny was astounding, but there was also an overwhelming amount of sadness and disappointment in this book, which made it somewhat depressing at times. The ending was pleasurable, however. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.

Empowering and moving; Adaora O's novel has the reader taken in from the first page due to both the powerful story and the intense with emotion writing style. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
