A very nice book by Melissa Foster. I’ve never read a book by this author before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the story and the characters.

3.5 star for me.

This one was my first read from this author & I enjoyed it.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends since they were teenagers. They've both harboured other stronger feelings but never acted on them for fear of ruining their friendship. Everything changes when Ben finds himself with a newborn infant to care for. Relationships shift and futures are adjusted. I enjoyed the story overall I just didn't find myself totally connecting with the characters like I usually would in a small town romance.

A friends to more story with a sweet baby girl to bring them closer together.

Ben and Aurelia have been friends for years but have never revealed their true feelings to each other. The arrival of a baby on Ben's doorstep changes everything, though.

Call Her Mine is a standalone and the start to a new series, but it does feature a number of characters that appeared in the Sugar Lake series. I have not read all those books, but there was enough background that I didn't feel lost.

There are some sweet and romantic moments I really enjoyed, but it did feel like the second half of the book was a little slower paced than I would have liked.

Also, though he grew on me the further I read, I wasn't the biggest fan of Ben's at first. I did like Aurelia's love for books and how quickly she grew to care for the baby.

Overall a fun but slightly flat read.

A delightful twist on the trope of a handsome but slightly wild single man with a homely best friend ready to come to his resque when a baby girl arrives on his doorstep in a basket with a note. Mostly the book follows the trope, although a few things are different...

First of all, I wouldn't call Ben Dalton a playboy. Yes, he is a successful (read: rich) businessman, but it all came from a ridiculous amount of hard work and sound planning. I loved the way Ben's father commented on his personality: "Oh, Ben. You've spent your entire life strategizing. You did it as a kid in every endeavour, from baseball to freaking Hallowee. I remember you mapping out the streets, figuring out the quickest routes to cover the most houses and make sure you didn't miss the ones that gave out the best candy." Ben has been in love with his best friend Aurelia for years, fearing he has been friendzoned, secretly taking dancing lessons and hoping that when the right moment arrives he'll make his move. An old adage says, you are what you do with your free time. Aurelia spends all her free time with Ben, listening to him, wathcing movies, cooking for him, going to parties with him, spending nights on his sofa and the list goes on. Are you surprised their friends and relatives have been treating them as an old married couple? Aurelia decides to buy a book store and move to a town nearby, and Ben is finally ready to profess his undying love when.Baby B makes her appearance in a basket in front of Ben's luxurious bachelor pad.

The trope wants you to keep guessing if the baby is his or not his. The story isn't usually about the baby, but about how the playboy in question becomes an adorably cute and clueless Dad which totally makes the girl swoon. 'Call her mine' is more about insta-parenthood rather than the two besties finally taking their relationship to the next level. Ben's tirade on why there are never any changing tables in men's bathrooms is hilarious and shows perfectly well how seriously he's taken to the task of becoming the best father possible. What about Relsy.?...well. she, kind of, disappears from everybody's focus, exhausted by midnight feedings and working on opening her new business. Luckily, Ben's parents and sisters are only willing to give them a hand, while Ben is busy trying to locate the irresponsible mother.

This light-hearted, fun book is essentially family-focused (despite a few very hot and steamy romantic scenes). I might have enjoyed it more if it were slightly shorter to avoid some repetition and keep the pace fast. The ending was a bit melodramatic, but, ultimately, you do want a happy ever after for Baby Bea and this one brought everything to conclusion.

This was my first book by this author and now that I have met the Daltons brood, I would like to read the previous books about Ben's sisters as well as any future ones in the Harmony Pointe series. Am I right in guessing that one of them will be about a sexy single doctor? Only Melissa Foster and time can answer, but I'll be looking forward to whatever she writes.

Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake romance for the ARC provided in exchange for an honest opinion.

Anyone who has read previous works by this author has been waiting for Aurelia and Ben's story and finally we get it in the start of the new Harmony Pointe series

They have always been best friends and they have always had stronger feelings about one another but neither was willing to risk their friendship by trying to step outside the friendship boundaries and make it more. To the point that Aurelia has finally moved away to try to get over him and have a life of her own When Ben receives an unexpected gist in the shape of a bay on his doorstep then Aurelia steps up to help him and the close proximity soon has them breaking down those barriers Do they have a chance to form a family or will a surprise visitor destroy what they are finally admitting is between them.

5 Star review of Call Her Mine (Harmony Pointe #1) by Melissa Foster

I was excited to learn that Melissa Foster was writing a new series.

This is Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark’s friends to lovers story. Ben has been in love with Aurelia for what seems like forever although she has no idea. Just as Ben decides to make a play for Aurelia, she up and decides to move to Harmony Pointe.

Call Her Mine certainly ticked all the boxes for me. This story had me captivated from the start as I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Foster’s style of writing.

When a baby is left on Ben’s doorstep, he turns to the one person he knows he can depend on and of course Aurelia steps up to help.

As they both struggle to adjust to their new circumstances, there will be laughter, tears and confessions. The attraction and chemistry between them is sizzling and intense. Can Ben and Aurelia find the baby’s mother and make a relationship work, or are they destined to fail?

Ben is swoon worthy, protective and altogether a great guy. I love Ben and Aurelia and found them easy to relate to, as I did the secondary characters. I cannot wait to read the next book in this exciting new series.

I had mixed feelings about this story from the very beginning. Friends to lovers are usually a fun, quirky type of read, and occasionally a little drama packed too; but this one showed the male lead as a unlikeable, rude and obnoxious jerk, who continually referred to his baby as “It”. I definitely struggled with getting past my dislike of this character and it coloured my view of the story as a whole. I’m hoping the next book has a more engaging lead. I still rated this story 3 Stars, as the plot was OK and if you move past Ben's self-centred character, it's a decent read.

Holy Wow! This series is off to an amazing start! 5 summer stars for this one!
Meet best friends Ben & Aurelia. They hang out together, sleep in the same bed together a lot but have never done the deed! Aurelia has longed to be with him for as long as she can remember, but she's afraid to see if he feels the same because she doesn't want to ruin their friendship.
One morning after Aurelia spent the night, yet again after swearing she wouldn't do that again, she finds a package on his porch that will change their lives in so many ways!
Follow their story as it unfolds, make sure you have your swoon meter ready because Ben is going to swoon your heart away! Also have tissues on standby as well. Catch up with some characters from other books, as the Dalton family will warm your heart! Great story grab it ASAP!

What a whirlwind! It felt like we barely got to know Aurelia and Ben before they found his daughter on his porch. Watching two long-time friends finally give in to the feelings they had for each other was a lot of fun. Watching them do it while also figuring out how to parent a 3 week old? Even better. There's something about unrequited love that becomes requited that always warms my heart. And I need to get into Aurelia's bookstore now. Do we think it's based on a real place or just a figment of Foster's imagination?

I will say that I didn't realize this one was connected to Foster's other series, so there was a lot of mention of other characters that I didn't know. I don't think it stopped me enjoying this one, but I think I would have enjoyed it a touch more if I wasn't wondering who all of these characters were. It's also clear that Foster had written about Ben and Rels previously, so she didn't spend as much time building the relationship as I would have liked for what they had and the fact that this is billed as the first in a new series.

All in all, a good read.

Aurelia has been crushing on Ben forever. What's not to love - he's funny, very hot, super sweet and unfortunately has completely friend zoned her. In an attempt to finally get over Ben, Aurelia picks up her life and moves to Harmony Pointe, opens a book store and starts to get herself on track. However, Ben isn't willing to give up being her buddy. After spending one more night wrapped in his hunky arms, Aurelia decides to get out and really put her life on track. The one thing she wasn't expecting to find was a baby on Ben's doorstep with a note claiming to be his!

Ben is trying to get up the nerve to tell Aurelia how he feels when Baby B is literally dropped on his doorstep. Now he has the added complication of convincing Aurelia they can be more than friends, while figuring out if the baby is his. Adding in his group of sisters, parents eager to be grandparents, and you are in for one very charming read - with some romance and hot encounters mixed in to keep it interesting!

I really liked this book and it's cast of characters. I loved Ben's sisters and am totally willing to adopt them - or have them adopt me - anytime. This looks like the beginning of a great series and I'll looking forward to my next visit to Harmony Pointe.

OMG, I love friends to lovers and add baby to it, I'm sold.
Ben and Aurelia have been friends forever, they love each other but are afraid to say something and loose friendship. This all changes when they find a baby on Ben's porch. They stop hiding their feelings for each other while looking for baby's mother.
I laugh, I cried. It is a great story and can't wait for more.

This is the first installment for the Harmony Pointe series and you will recognize some characters from the Sugar Lake series, and if you are a fan, this story will not disappoint.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends since they were teenagers and their feelings had grown but they never acted on them as each assumed the other would not feel the same way. Their feelings are tested when Ben discovers a baby on his doorstep with a note affirming that he is the father. He has no idea how to raise a baby and he solicits Aurelia's help. They soon realize as they care for the baby that they need to tell each other how they truly feel and take a leap. To their surprise, the feeling is mutual. Their relationship flourishes and then they are tested again when an unexpected visitor arrives.

I won't give away any spoilers, but I can say that this was an easy, breezy, fun read and it put a smile on my face.

This is the best Melissa Foster book I’ve read so far. Ben and his Relsy had smoking hot chemistry and then add in a baby and it’s a swoon fest from start to finish. This story has some great LOL moments as well as moments that will completely melt your heart. I love growly alphas and Ben doesn’t disappoint! Aurelia’s loyalty to Ben made me love her so much. This is definitely one couple to get invested in.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review**

Call Her Mine is book one in Melissa Foster's new Harmony Pointe series. I've read a few books by this author, but I have a friend who has read every single one and continues to suggest I read more, so I took her advice and I'm definitely not sorry I did! This was a great book.

Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark have been best friends for years. They both have harbored feelings for the other, but neither one of them has been brave enough to give voice to said feelings. They've both tried dating other people, but they always seem to compare their dates to the other person. When Ben finally decides it's time to share his feelings, Aurelia up and moves to another town to open the bookstore she's always dreamed of owning. Is time really not on their side again?

As Aurelia settles into her new apartment and goes about getting her bookstore ready to open, she also is breathing a bit easier because she's tired of always having to duck her feelings for Ben. She loves being around him, but with her feelings being so strong, being in such close proximity became overwhelming and having a little bit of space is welcome.

When a tiny baby girl is left on Ben's doorstep with a note stating that she is his, he turns to the one person he knows will always be there for him - Aurelia. As these two try to figure out how to care for a newborn, they also finally figure out that they've totally missed the boat where "they" have been concerned because both of them have feelings that they need to explore. Aurelia wonders if this is reaction to this new little one in Ben's life, but he assures her that isn't the case. Can she trust him and herself to believe what he says is true and really make a go of it?

I greatly enjoyed this story and all of the characters in it. Not only were Ben and Aurelia wonderful, their supporting cast was just as great. Ben's siblings and their significant others and Aurelia's grandmother were equally as great. I love a good friends to lovers romance and this is definitely one worth picking up!

Melissa Foster knows how to bring out my emotions better than any author. Call Her Mine is filled with love, laughter, surprises, sorrow and celebration. Ben and Aurelia have been friends since childhood. Best friends. When Ben is hit with an unexpected and life altering situation, Aurelia is by his side to help him find his way. Aurelia grounds Ben and helps him deal with his changing life but where will this lead Ben and Aurelia and can their friendship survive the test of a lifetime? I loved this book. It made me happy and sad. It made me laugh out loud and cry like a baby. A wonderful must read book.

This is my first book I've read by Melissa Foster and definitely wont be the last. I didnt know there were other stories in this series but I'm going to go back and read them because if they are anything like this book it would be worth the backtracking. This story had so many feels. It was absolutely heartwarming. Love is never waiting for that one right moment but instead making every moment special. Ben had no clue how quick his life is about to change. Or how one small bundle and sassy best friend would change everything and show him the meaning true love. I shed a few tears with this book but it's always good when you can connect that good with an amazing book. And that it is. The best! One of my favorite reads in 2019 for sure. If I could rate it more than five stars I would.

I loved this book. Fans of Melissa Fosters Sugar Lake series have been patiently waiting for Ben Dalton story, and it did not disappoint! Full of sweetness, sass, heat, and some laugh out loud moments, I found I really got invested in Ben and Aurelia and really pulled for them to make it work. A must read

3.5 stars
Ben and Aurelia have been best friends and secretly in love with each other forever. Everyone else in their lives is aware of it. Aurelia has just decided to move to a new town for a fresh start, but she spends the night at Ben's house and wakes up to find a baby on the doorstep, presumably his. Ben had been consoling/distracting himself from what he suspected were Aurelia's many dates by going on a bunch himself. They work together to figure out how to take care of this baby, and then Ben quickly decides to confess his feelings. I thought the friends to lovers part worked, and I believed the strength of their feelings, but the drop off baby from another woman being the catalyst felt weird to me. The book was overall enjoyable and a quick read.
