Melissa Foster is usually an auto-buy for me. However, this particular novel is did not resonate with me. I didn’t really connect with the main characters. While storyline is interesting and heartfelt, it felt a bit rushed at the end. Despite my own reader experience, I believe that Melissa Foster devotees and readers looking for a quick, heartfelt story will enjoy this book.

A cute book of what could happen between two friends if they let it. Went by very quickly. Easy story to read.

Aurelia and Ben have been best friends for years but Aurelia can’t stand watching Ben and his one night stands anymore, so she is moving and opening a bookstore. Just as Ben has decided to tell her his feelings, she moves. When a baby is left on his doorstep, he is petrified and begs Aurelia to help him. As they navigate parenthood, they also tell what’s in their hearts and gives in to the chemistry between them. As they learn about babies, run their businesses, and hunt for his baby’s momma, they also learn to be a family.
Awesome story with sex, humor, and heartbreak. Be prepared for a cold shower. I think this is the best story from Ms. Foster since Tru Blue.

Sweet and sexy story about two best friends and how they found their happy ever after. Ben has been in love with his best friend Aurelia for years but couldn't find the right time to tell her. Aurelia had been pining over him for years thinking her love was unrequited. Thankfully it only took a quarter of the book for these two to declare their love to each other. Once they acknowledged their love the story moved quickly. Together they navigated life with a baby. They worked out a multitude of potential setbacks with laughter and love. This book was well written with a good amount of sexual content and a heavy dose of humor.
