Call Her Mine is my first Melissa Foster book but it will not be my last. This story was jam-packed with heat, lots of laughs and even a few tears. Great chemistry between Ben and Aurelia. Even though this Book 1 of the Harmony Pointe series, there is obviously another series featuring more of the Dalton's that I'm eagerly looking forward to reading.

This was a nice sugary sweet read, for the most part.
Our two main characters are childhood besties, both secretly in love with each other, but too scared of ruining their awesome friendship. I'm just baffled how neither of them realizes the other one has feelings when they apparently freaking cuddle all the time. I mean they wake up groping each others bits for crap's sake lol.
But I digress.
Our female mc, Aurelia, is trying to get some distance from her hunky best friend so she can move on with her life when she stumbles across a very unexpected package left on his doorstep. Hunky best friend Ben needs her help dealing with the very unexpected circumstances he finds himself in, so they band together to figure things out.
I really enjoyed Ben and Aurelia's relationship, my only gripe with the book was that the situation with Caroline seemed to be wrapped up a little too suddenly there at the end.
Overall, the book was sweet, if a little lacking in complexity, but was a nice fun read full of feel-good moments.

This is the first book I've read by Melissa Foster. I found the description of the book intriguing... friends to lovers with a baby twist thrown in so I decided to request the book... and I'm glad that I did! This is the first book for the Harmony Pointe series and some of the characters are from the Sugar Lake series (which I have not read and will be putting those books on my TBR list).

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends since they were teenagers. Throughout the years they both have fallen deeper in love with each other, however, they don't tell each other how they feel for fear of destroying their friendship (AND thinking the other person doesn't feel the same way). Aurelia decides to make a change in her life and moves to a different town to open a bookstore. After hanging out with Ben & falling asleep together on his couch Aurelia is getting ready to leave the next morning when they find a baby with a note on Ben's doorstep stating that he is the father. Now, I won't get into a lot of details about the next part of the story because I don't like to read spoilers, however, the steps they take to figure out if he is the father, who the mother is, and how they finally express their love for each other is very interesting. At times I found myself laughing and then a few pages later crying. I really enjoyed reading about Ben & Aurelia's perspective families. I felt that the family bonds added a lot of depth to the story and that's why I want to read the Sugar Lake series too. There are a few twists and turns in the story that make for an engaging read. I felt that this story was an easy and fun read that left me with a smile on my face.

4.5 stars

It's been a while since I've read just a sweet romance without any suspense and danger in it. And I can't even remember when was the last time I read a Melissa Foster book. I love her writing style and her stories but at some point life just got in the way and I lost track. But I am so happy that I got the chance to read and review her latest book, Call Her Mine. This is a friends to lovers story with a little bit of heartbreak (but trust me, those few pages are going to make you tear up) and a sweet as a pie baby girl that will capture your heart from the very start.

Ben and Rels are two great characters. They've been friends forever and had feelings for each other for nearly as long but their timing has always been off and they both kept their feelings a secret from the other one. In a way, they are at an impasse and they both need a push in order to sort things out. Imagine that push coming in the form of an adorable baby girl left at Ben's doorstep. You can probably imagine the panic that overcomes Ben and the chaos that follows. The result of course is multiple funny situations and a baby daddy, so adorable that he can melt you your heart. But the situation also finally forces Ben to confront his feelings and reveal them to Aurelia. Of course, things are not hears and roses after that and there are more than one obstacles in their way: being a new parent and handling a new relationship and business on top of that, is definitely not a walk in the park. The strength of Aurelia and Ben's relationship is tested on more than one occasion, but every single time they show that the love they have for each other and for baby Bea is more than enough to overcome everything thrown their way.

So, if you are looking for a sweet enemies to lovers story with a hint of heartbreak and a sprinkle of humor, look no further. This is the book for you. And if you've read some of Melissa's other series, you will get to revisit with some of your favorite characters as well. So don't waste any time and get your copy now :)

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends forever. Neither knows that they each have a crush on each other. Ben is ready to finally tell Aurelia how he feels, but life throws him a curve ball when he discovers a baby on his doorstep. Not just any baby, but according to the note that was left with the baby, his baby! Aurelia is there when the baby is discovered. Neither of them knows a thing about babies! Their about to learn real fast! This is a funny, sweet, sad wonderful book that makes you wish for a relationship like theirs. Unexpected ending, but I loved it!

I truly loved this book. Ben and Aurelia were great as a couple since they'd been friends for so long, and I loved it. They needed a little push in the right direction, and the baby was the push that they needed; even if it took some time for Ben to accept the baby as his because of some choices he'd made.
There was quite a bit of humor, especially with the new parents moments. I remember having times like those, and I think that a lot of people will be able to relate on some level. What they go through is relatable in so many ways, which makes the characters themselves relatable because it makes them human. Ben's family makes you feel as though you're part of the family, and so does Aurelia's grandmother. As a book lover, I also would love to go to a bookstore like the one in the book because I can visualize it so vividly.

A new world with some familiar faces

I love everything Melissa writes! This is no exception. Ben and Aurelia are best friends who each secretly harbor feeling for each other. waking up one morning finding a baby on his doorstep while waking Aurelia out is a huge shocker for Ben. Ben immediately freaks out and wants nothing to do with the baby claiming there is no way she can be his.

Ben and Aurelia navigate raising the baby together as many new parents do. This book is funny and heart warming with some tears thrown in at the end. Welcome to Harmony Point.

Aawww!! This was such a feel good book! A lighthearted story between two people who was meant to be together but always had such bad timing.
Ben and Aurelia.💑

Damn, Ben is a total book boyfriend!! I’m calling dibs on him in my fictional world!😝 Like, SWOOON!!💕
While Aurelia had so many good ideas for her new project that I wish we do have ‘Chapter One’ here in the real world. And of course, the surprise baby!!👶🏻

‘Call Her Mine’ took me by surprise, that while the plot seem simple, the characters aren’t. Beyond Ben and Aurelia, we have the Dalton sisters (which have their own books from The Sugar Lake series), Piper, Remi, Grandma Flossie, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton, and a whole lot more. At first, it was a bit overwhelming because I’m new to the characters, but I could see how it’s fun for others to read about characters from prior series!❤️ I’m a big sucker for series and cameo roles of my fave characters from other books as well.

It is written in third person so I know there are others who won’t be too thrilled about that, but it’s better since there was a lot of characters. That way, we get the whole picture from everyone’s thoughts. I’m not big on family plots but this hardly fits that, though it is a story about being surprise parents, the story do revolve more on the development between Ben and Aurelia and their own worlds and how they were going to make it work for everything and everyone.😊
Also, there was so many life advices here that we could all benefit from! Listen to Grandma Flossie and Mr. Dalton! Plus that ending!! Hahaha! I mean, Oh! Benny Boy!😂 Don’t miss out on this, it’s such a warm and beautiful read. And that insta-love between Ben and baby B, is sooo lovely! ❤️

This is my first Melissa Foster ARC but I have some of her books in my TBR shelf. I got the ARC from NetGalley.

The blurb lured me in... I was actually excited to read this because I was in a book funk and I thought this book would get me out of it... but not really. It actually took me a couple days to finish it. I love the whole premise of the story—friends to lovers, its family oriented and it also touched on taking responsibility for your actions. It was actually quite romantic.

It was a tad bit fast-paced for my liking. I get that they were friends that had feelings for each other for a very long time but it was zero to sixty in just a short amount of time then throw in a baby in the mix and it was too much happening in one time. I wish it was prolonged/extended a little bit, after all, build-up is the key...

Everybody has a past, so I didn't mind their backstory... what got my eyes rolling so much is that some of the dialogues were a tad bit cheesy for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I'm the biggest romantic sap I know and I always love good ol' cheese, but I didn't think some of the lines were realistic and for me to say that, well it really was a tad bit loads of cheese but this is just my opinion. I'm just saying.

But overall I did enjoy the book... it was okay. The last couple of chapters were actually heart-wrenching so depending on how emotional you are, you might want to keep your tissues near.

This book was legit like sunshine in book form. This was the first Melissa Foster book I’d ever read and solely judging by the cover and synopsis I had a feeling it was my kinda book. And I’m so happy to say that it was! This book gave me all sorts of happy mushy feelings and though I wish I had read the stories of the characters this series intertwined with because all these characters sounded like a family I’d want to be a part of.. I didn’t feel like I had missed out on much which I gotta say I loved! So many authors write “stand alone” novels where the characters intertwine and they make you feel like you popped into the movies halfway through a film. Melissa Foster obviously knows what she’s doing and I know I’ll so keep coming back for more of this author’s works.

Best friend’s Aurelia & Ben had known each other for years, but as it usually goes, neither of them knew what was right in front of their noses. They both dated other people, went on with their lives until Aurelia had enough and was set on starting over; new life, new business and no more Ben. As fate would have it, just as she was set on this new life, a baby was dropped off on Ben’s doorstep. And so the hunt for the baby’s biological mother began, but along the way, not only did they become an instant family with baby Bea, they finally realized that they were there for each other all along and both felt something more than friendship for each other.

This book is full to the brim with not only happiness, but second chances and the feeling that so long as you have your family and each other, everything will be okay. After one book, I fell in love with the Dalton’s, and I absolutely cannot wait to hear more from this hilariously lovely family.

Call Her Mine to is a super sexy and swoony friends to lovers single dad romance that made my ovaries go boom! Now while this book wasn't my favorite by this author, I definitely enjoyed it. It's worth a pick up.

Ben and Aurelia have really amazing chemistry. Best friends with years of hidden feelings for one another. I loved the way they work together especially after finding baby b on his doorstep. It just so cute how quickly they fell in love with Bea.

I will say - and I have experienced this before with another Melissa Foster series - it says Call Her Mine is a standalone however, I for sure would have benefited from reading the books in the Sugar Lake series. Characters were brought in and I felt like I was expected to know who they were.

Overall, if you're looking for a sexy, fast-paced romance with a lot of heart then this one is for you.

My first Melissa Foster read and I loved it! It was the perfect balance of a good plot line and some sexy time. The plot twist toward the end is not what I expected and the epilogue had me cracking up!

I didn't realize this was a spin-off series, so I now I will be binge reading her other books!

Call Her Mine is the ultimate romance! Best friends that both have feelings they deny for the sake of their friendship, a CB'ing baby that makes you wish you could actually see pictures of what she does in the book, and enough steam to need a cold shower...this has too many moments to list, but I couldn't stop reading. The best part? I was already counting down to the next book in the series before it was halfway through. The characters are amazing and hilariously candid. I love anything written by Melissa Foster, but this one has to be my all-time favorite so far!

Call Her Mine was the perfect read for my cool, relaxing Sunday! I DEVOURED this book, stopping only for a refill on my iced coffee and kiss my hubby. Ben and Aurelia are perfection! This small town, single daddy and best friends to lovers romance combines all my favorite jams. I am all about this book!! Ben is the most charming single dad around, my ovaries were busting like fireworks time and time again. Is there anything better than a single dad turning is playboy ways around to devoted daddy and finally recognizing his love for his bestie. I THINK NOT dolls!

Melissa Foster has the divine ability to create a connection within her characters that is so heartfelt even as the book is starting. I loved Ben and Aurelia from the start! Their instant banter and friendship is like a warm blanket on a cool day, I just snuggled in for the ride. Ben finely straddles the line of douchebag and charming billionaire. He doesn't flaunt is bed notches or his money, but it's all there under the surface. Once Baby B is left on his porch, he takes a complete 180 to my FAVORITE BABY DADDY! Gosh he's so adorable with his clueless nature and bleeding heart for his baby. Aurelia has the patience of a saint. This man, leans on her unabashedly, but all the while, she loves it! While she's desperate to move on from her unrequited love, Ben is desperate to hang onto her. Their first kiss is EVERYTHING!!

Ben and Aurelia's romance is RED HOT! Their relationship moves ahead in light speed, creating this tight nit little family of 3. Every look, every touch is FIRE! I was completely addicted, that I couldn't devour the story fast enough. There's so much to love; the romance, the emotional tears, and that hilarious ending. Call Her Mine is one of my favorite Melissa Foster books to date!!

I was highly anticipating Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster, but sadly, this friends to lovers romance fell short of my expectations. I actually had to stop reading and read two other books before coming back to it, and I rarely do that.

After reading the Sugar Lake series (which introduce Ben and Aurelia as those books feature Ben's sisters and Aurelia's friends), I couldn't wait for Ben and Aurelia's story. I thought they had such great sexual tension in the Sugar Lake series, but now I'm questioning my memory because I felt nothing between these two in Call Her Mine. Their romantic relationship felt formulaic and...just strange.

Also, their relationship moved rather quickly from friends to lovers, and while these types of romance don't necessarily need to be slow-burn, this was very abrupt. This is a standalone in a new series, but frankly if I hadn't read the Sugar Lake series, I would have felt even more lost than I already did.

I found the mystery baby mama aspect to be a bit much as well, and while I knew about that going in, I just expected more/better.

That being said, I enjoyed other aspects of the book, just not the main characters and story line. That was a bummer for me because I've loved what I've read of Melissa Foster so far.

I am looking forward to what comes next. I'd really like Piper Dalton's story.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends forever, but their timing has never been right. Ben has hinted several times at wanting “more” with Aurelia, but she always thought he was joking. Aurelia always wished for more with Ben, but thought he had permanently friend-zoned her. Both filling the void with meaningless one night stands, relationships. Both believing a friendship was better than not having the other in their lives. Both incredibly smart, successful, and dumb! At least in regards to expressing their true feelings. But life has a way of turning their lives upside down...

Call Her Mine is the first novel in the Harmony Pointe series. Can I just say OMG! Melissa Foster is a wonderful, amazingly talented author. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed ALL of her series, but this one....WOW! I love secret baby stories and this one has one of the best, most surprising twists at the end. I loved Ben and Aurelia’s adventures in caring for Bea. The poop scenes were EPIC, laugh out loud! The ending had me crying, but cheering for the family of three in the end. Babies are truly a gift and a miracle! Loved this story! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

I love a good friends to lovers story! This one is a fabulous one. Ben and Aurelia have been friends forever. Neither wanted to chance losing the other by taking a step to make it more. Then their lives are forever changed when a baby is left on Ben's doorstep. As they navigate, their new normal the two become a real couple. I loved Ben and Aurelia story. I laughed, cried and felt every emotion. It was such a feel good story! I received an advance copy of the book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

When Aurelia Stark woke up in the arms of her best friend (aka man she loved forever) yet again! she knew that she had to be even more determined to continue with her plan to move on and open her up her book store, but that all came to a screeching halt when a tiny package arrived on the doorstep.

Ben Dalton has loved Aurelia forever but doesn't know how to tell her, and when little B turns up on the doorstep, there is only one person he wants by his side, he just has to convince Aurelia of that fact.

Call Her Mine is an absolutely beautiful story about getting out of the friend zone, teamwork and love. I'm sure some people will be bent out of shape that Ben was not celibate though out this whole love in the friend zone, but to me, it makes it more realistic. The characters and the writing was excellent and everything I have come to expect from the author, though at times I did get confused by all of Ben's family.

Call Her Mine is the first book in the Harmony Pointe series, a friends to lovers story featuring Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark. I was immediately drawn to the synopsis of Call Her Mine, I adore Melissa Foster's books and thoroughly enjoyed the Sugar Lake books featuring Ben's siblings.

Single parent and secret baby tropes tick all my boxes. When a baby is left on Ben's doorstep, it brings this pair of best friends even closer together as they struggle with the demands of parenthood.

As with most of Melissa's books, Ben and Aurelia is a sweet story that has plenty of heat, heart and humor.

I would highly recommend reading the Sugar Lake series prior to reading Call Her Mine, as many of the stories of many of the characters who appear those titles, have their stories continues with Call Her Mine, and it will be confusing as the Dalton family is quite a cast of characters.

I adore the strong familial ties in this title and I loved seeing the other Dalton siblings, and I can't wait for Piper to meet her match.

Melissa Foster doesn't disappoint in this extension of the Sugar Lake series. This first book in the Harmony Pointe series was sweet all the way around. This is the story of Ben and Aurelia (I just love that he calls her "Rels" and you will too). They previously appear in the Sugar Lake novels but you don't know their tale until now.

Brief Story Summary: Ben and Aurelia are perennial best friends. Unbeknownst to each other, for years they had eyes for one another. One morning they find a basket on Ben's doorstep. Once they see what's inside, their story unfolds. Will the contents bring them together or keep them apart? In true Dalton family fashion, we are treated to the zany and diverse involvement of these characters as they intertwine in his life.

Though this reads as a wonderful stand-alone, I would recommend reading the Sugar Lake series starting with "The Real Thing". You'll enjoy this story even more knowing the back story of the characters.

Can't wait to read book two!!
