I love the friends to lovers trope. Call Her Mine shows it at its best with a hero and heroine who make me happy. They’re both strong people who value open communication and honesty. Their love, friendship and regard for one another is never in question. The only thing they haven’t spoken is how much they want each other, but thankfully, that doesn’t last long. There’s a wrench that gets thrown in the works? But even that they tackle as a unit. It’s pretty great.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Ben has always loved his best friend Aurelia as just that a best friend, nothing ever went past that friendship stage and it has been enough. But its been a bit complicated since she's moved. Now with Aurelia finding a baby abandoned on Ben's front porch their lives will turn around as they try to figure out of the child is really his, find out who the child's mother is and demand answers, until they can work things out both Ben and Aurelia will care for the child. But to Aurelia there is nothing hotter then seeing Ben's daddy side come out and things start to heat up for the two as well. They've got many things to face but will try to work on it together.

I love a good friendship to lovers situation. They already know the dirty little details with eachother so a relationship between the two isn't really complicated. What is complicated is the baby Ben is now tasked to face and Aurelia being his friend wants so do what she can to help him and the baby out. They've got to manage their friendship, the child's well being and learning dealing with the fact that they have jobs and lives so it was was interesting seeing how the two worked on things and how everything worked out. I especially loved the romance between the two and the heated exchanges. Overall this was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.

Ben and Aurelia have loved each other for years... they just didn't know it. Stuck in unrequited love limbo, Aurelia decides to jump on the chance to start over - new town, new place, new business venture, new life. Right? Ben doesn't want to lose his best friend, the only woman he's ever loved, so he finds excuses to get her to stay. What happens when the biggest reason of all literally finds its way to his door?

I always know when I read a book from Melissa Foster that the story will be epic and she did not let me down. Call Her Mine had easy to love characters, a spicy coming together moment, little to no drama, warm family and friends interactions, and so much love that I just wanted to hug and squeeze the book in my hands forever. I felt for Ben and his situation. Trying to distance himself from Aurelia and the hopelessness he felt in getting his happily ever after, he tended to get involved in one night stands. No muss, no fuss. At least, that's what he thought until one such encounter created a blessing that not only taught him about a different type of love, but brought him the woman he always wanted. I admired Aurelia for her strength in standing by his side. I felt conflicted because on one hand, it was hurtful that he had created a life with someone else. But on the other, he was wholly devoted to her and building a life and future with her.

While this was most definitely a friends-to-lovers romance, and there were plenty of romantic and swoon-worthy moments to be found, it was also about the baby and how these two characters had to change and adapt for this huge change in their lives. Neither of them were prepared to welcome a baby, especially since they were just starting to navigate their way through new coupledom. But I feel like the author pulled off this complicated story with her usual finesse and it was impossible to not fall in love with everyone and their moments. I loved having this visit with the Daltons (seriously, aren't they just the best family?) and I'm looking forward to more of these people. Will Fletcher ever find his match? What about Piper? And with the amount of times I've seen Jared Stone, does he have a story? I'm staying tuned...

Sweet friends to lovers

In this absolutely sweet best friends to lovers romantic book we watch two people not only fall in love with each other but the adorable new born left on Ben’s doorstep. The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments.

Authors Blurb: Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. He’s been in love with his best friend saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark forever. But Ben’s a planner, and timing has never been on his side. When he finally decides to make his move, Aurelia beats him to the punch with a move of her own—to a different town. Aurelia loves her new life in the charming town of Harmony Pointe. She has a great apartment and her very own bookstore, and best of all, the sinfully hot, commitment phobic friend she’s crushed on for years is no longer just around the corner. Maybe she’ll finally be able to leave her unrequited love behind and move on. But when a baby is left on Ben’s front porch a baby that is presumably his Aurelia is there for him. Neither one knows the first thing about babies, but how hard can it be? Ben and Aurelia are catapulted into a world of love, laughter, and tracking down the baby mama, and it might even add up to a very happily ever after… just not one either of them expects.

Well let me start by saying
This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Call them yours!

Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster is the story of Ben, Aurelia and Bea. Ben and Aurelia (Rels)have been best friends forever. Aurelia has been I love with Ben (and he with her) but they are unaware the other sees them as anything more than friends. When Rels moves away to open her own bookstore and to move forward with her life, she tries to convince herself to leave Ben behind. Just when she is ready to do exactly that, she finds a basket outside Ben’s door. She assumes the neighbour made him muffins, but inside the basket is something much sweeter...a baby who is Ben’s! But who is the mother and why leave the poor baby there when Ben didn’t know he’d fathered a child!!

I laughed out loud as Ben and a Rels manoeuvre through the issues of taking care of a baby. I loved how Ben finally stepped up to tell Rels his feelings and how much of the book was the insta-family dynamics. And learning about Bea’s mother and her reasons for giving up her child made me cry. All in all, this is another fabulous book with a little of everything you’d want in a romantic comedy.

I enjoyed this upbeat, well-written book. Aurelia and Ben are best friends and they both have unexpressed feelings for each other. The timing has never been right for them to get together. Then Ben is thrown for a loop when a baby is left on his doorstep. Aurelia offers to help care for the baby, and they start working together to figure things out. This was an entertaining book and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Call Her Mine is a best friends to lovers romance. Ben and Aurelia are best friends who are brutally honest with each other, except for when it comes to their feelings for each other. They have loved each other forever, they just didn't know it. Just when Aurelia starts to separate her life from Ben's, a baby turns up on his front porch and he needs her more than ever.

I'm a sucker for a friends to lovers romance. This story was super cute and sometimes antsy with Baby B in the mix. Baby B brings to the forefront all of the emotions that Ben and Aurelia have for each other. I felt all of the emotions while reading this story; I cried, I laughed and thoroughly enjoyed Ben's journey into surprise fatherhood with Aurelia by his side.

LOVED THIS BOOK! Loved the characters and the story line. Pick this book up, you won't regret it!

Ben and Aurelia and baby makes an amazing story!!! A little twist on the friends to lovers trope with a surprise baby mixed in.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends for years but both have wanted to be more. Neither one knew how the other truly felt until a surprise baby shows up on Ben's doorstep. He doesn't have the best timing with admitting his love, but couldn't image another woman by his side and being the mother to his daughter. They manage to take care of a baby and enjoy their new relationship amidst the rest of their busy lives.

I love these characters and the Dalton family. Melissa Foster never fails to write a story that I fall in love with. I think my favorite part of this book was the epilogue. Whew, that was hot!!! I can't wait for the next book.

Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster was a heartwarming and beautiful love story. This friends-to-lovers and single dad romance was a soothing, delicious and sexy escape from life.

I love the detailing in the stories by Melissa Foster. She creates absoultely relatable and realistic characters with fine details about their life. Like their home, their family and their work. And it doesn't feel like story anymore. Big family with the bonding, support system and unconditional love is another of her speciality. And Call Her Mine had both. And then some more. I was laughing and smiling all the time. And I was swooning so hard too. I felt blissfully happy while reading this story. And that is a feeling to be cherished. It was a sexy, funny, hilarious, adorable and loving story.

Ben is so dreamy, gorgeous and amazing! Life threw a surprise baby but he stood up to the occasion. His soft, caring and protective side melted my heart. He can also be dangerously charming , confident and incredibly sexy. Aurelia is yin to his yang. She has a big loving heart. She has been his forever best friend and also the girl he always wanted but did not try to win her in fear of losing her. And Aurelia also loved him but could not come out of the friend zone. Ben's manwhore tendency did not help but that was Ben's coping mechanism. Now Baby Ben has arrived and they have to face the challenge together. And soon they will admit their feelings. It was slow burn followed by explosive passion and sweetest romance. I loved their intense chemistry so much!

Melissa Foster created another amazing love story in Call You Mine. It was fascinating, engaging and tempting. I was deep in the story with Ben and Aurelia. And the feelings were incredible!

How adorable is a hot guy with a baby?

Ben and Aurelia are best friends. They also both have a secret: they're in love with their best friend. When a baby gets dropped off at Ben's front door, the two work together to take care of the sweet baby girl and maybe they stop fighting their attraction to each other.

Ben and Aurelia are clearly made for each other. And everyone in their lives seems to know it. I loved that they had this amazing connection. I also love that Aurelia is this amazing, strong business owner. Ben is this sweet guy who is a billionaire. I loved how sweet he was with both Aurelia and his daughter. Some of the book just seemed a little too perfect, but overall, I loved this story. This story is so adorable!

Another great friends to lovers’ story that had will make you laugh and cry as you are reading it. Ben and Aurelia have been friends for years. They sleep in the same bed but no hanky panky is happening even though Aurelia wouldn’t mind if it did. They are just too stubborn to admit the feeling that they have for each other. When she has a chance to start over somewhere else, Ben doesn’t want to lose her. He starts to find ways to make her stay. Finally a really big reason presents itself in the form of a baby. A baby he doesn’t know who the mother is. Ben is a bit of a playboy because instead of being with the one he wants, he compensates by sleeping with everyone else. They will work together to figure out how to be a family. I will admit that I had some tears in my eyes when I was finished with this book. Once you get started, you won’t want to put it down. I read it in one sitting and it was worth it.

I love the Dalton family! I realize this is Ben and Aurelia's love story, but his family and the extended family & friends...they are part of what makes a Melissa Foster book so heartwarming. Aurelia & Ben finally get together with some help from a surprise on the doorstep. Friends to lovers. Perfect blend of feels and passion and humor. So many feels!! Love, love, loved!! Cannot wait for more!! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Call Her Mine is the first book in the Harmony Pointe series, but it does revisit the Sugar Lake Dalton family. This is a friends-to-lovers, surprise-baby-with-a-twist story.
I enjoyed this book for several reasons. It is well-written, you get to truly know the characters, and you feel invested in the situation. There is a good mix of humor and drama, but not too much drama and angst so that you feel that your heart is constantly breaking. The characters are engaging, intelligent, and actually have character and depth.
I'm a fan of Melissa Foster, and I'm looking forward to more books in this series.

I was definitely hesitant to read this book based on the idea of a baby but I ended up falling completely in love with the whole story line, from start to finish. It is obvious that people make assumptions, as Ben and Aurelia originally did about the baby's mother - but the truth isn't always clear cut.

I also really enjoyed how caring for a new baby was not all "sunshine and smiles". Aurelia's struggle to adjust and her guilt over it were so on point. Just because a parent is not a birth parent does not mean that the struggles with a newborn are not present. This lesson is a strong reminder to all parents that it is okay to say you are overwhelmed and need help.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends forever. They have also had feelings for each other forever, but neither knows about the others feelings and timing has never been right. When a baby shows up on Ben’s doorstep will it be too late for Ben and Aurelia or will this be the kickstart they need to finally admit their true feelings?⁣⁣

Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors. I will automatically buy anything she releases. Call Her Mine is definitely one of her best books yet! I enjoyed Ben and Aurelia’s friendship in the Sugar Lake series so I was excited for them to get their own story. I love a good friends to lovers story and this one set the bar high. I adored Ben and Aurelia’s relationship and how they both navigated their new world with Baby B. It was low angst but not without a few surprises. It made me laugh and cry which is always a good sign in my eyes. ⁣⁣

Call Her Mine is the first book by Melissa Foster that I have read but most definitely not my last. It had all my favorite elements, lifelong friends, big awesome family and enjoyable characters who already have books I can't wait to read. Ben and Aurelia were awesome together, their chemistry was hot and I loved the transition for them to an us. I will admit the whole baby thing made my heart break for Aurelia but she was an awesome friend and stood by his side. Now although I did love this book I will say the first half was definitely 5 stars but unfortunately I felt it lost a little because it became to sugary sweet for me and there were to many I love you's that it started to feel like fillers. Overall I would definitely recommend Call Her Mine and I look forward to more books from this author.

I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love with the Daltons all over again, especially Ben. I love how Ben and Aurelia’s lives are turned upside down from the very beginning because it causes them to finally admit their feelings for each other right away. I didn’t have to wait the whole book for them to be together. It was more about them navigating their new relationship along with the new baby thrown their ways. Ben surprised me in more ways than one and I love how he went all in and everything he did showed how much he loved Aurelia. I loved seeing the rest of the Daltons and the extended family and it made me realize how much I missed them. I had a huge smile on my face but I also cried. I cried because of all the love and the sage advice that Ben receives from everyone but especially his dad. And the plot twist towards the end is heart wrenching. I loved meeting new characters too and now I’m hoping we get Piper’s story but also all the other characters too. Melissa Foster has done it again with this story. It’s captivating, heart wrenching, and had me on the edge of my seat.

CALL HER MINE (Harmony Pointe Book One) by Melissa Foster is a new friends-to-lovers contemporary romance with a secret baby, too. I have never been disappointed in a romance written by this author and this book was no exception.

Ben Dalton is an extremely successful businessman, but when it comes to his love life, he just never seems to get the timing right to get the girl he loves. It seems he has loved his sisters’ friend, Aurelia forever, but the planner in him has never found just the right time to tell her. Just as Ben decides to make the big move, Aurelia beats him to the punch by literally moving to the next town.

Aurelia Stark has decided to turn the page and start a new chapter in her life. She has moved to Harmony Pointe to open her new bookstore “Once Upon a Time”. She has a great apartment above the store and she is hopefully just far enough away to avoid constantly running into her commitment-phobic, unrequited love and best-friend, Ben.

Aurelia cannot believe she gave in and spent the night, as “friends”, at Ben’s once again. As she goes to leave, she opens the door and finds a baby on the porch. The attached note says it is Ben’s baby. Aurelia is there for Ben, though neither knows the first thing about the care of babies. What follows is a journey into nighttime feedings, lack of sleep, learning, laughter and love.

I am once again in love with a Melissa Foster romance. Ben, Aurelia and baby Bea feel like more than just characters in a book. I feel as if I should be able to meet them in Harmony Pointe. The laughter, tears, fears and love are all realistically portrayed in the dialogue and each characters actions. Ben is uber sexy and lovable. The perfect mix of take charge business man and lover mixed with the vulnerable best-friend and new dad. Aurelia works to open her dream bookstore even as she helps Ben. She deals with everything thrown at her and learns that it is not a bad thing to ask for help when she needs it. The love between Ben, Aurelia and Bea is beautiful to read. As in all of Ms. Foster’s romances the sex scenes are sexy, hot and explicit. Keep some tissues handy for the ending; it is emotional.

I absolutely loved this romance and highly recommend it.
