Book #2 in The Morgan Sisters series
Wow the writing in this one is exquisite, every breath, every glance even a blush, touches you. The chemistry between Edwin and Carrie is palatable through the whole book. It’s so enjoyable, so worth the read.
Recommend for adult lovers of romance.

His Billionaire Bride is not at all what I had expected after reading the first Morgan Sister book. Madeline Ash has written such a wonderful layer romance that it will make even the most cynical reader into a hopeless romantic.
Carrie Morgan is all business and nothing else in her life. It takes a complete opposite from the logical romance wary woman to break down her barrier to entertain love. Edwin Prince, an artist does not want her to just entertain the idea of love but to embrace it with him. Love story worthy of the name love story.
Of the two Morgan sisters’ stories His Billionaire Bride is the best. I can’t wait to see what Madeline Ash writes next.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 2nd book in a series, and I felt I had missed the prologue of something. I haven't read the first one so maybe it's a continuation. I am still not sure why Carrie's sister wants her picture on the side of a building painted any why she would agree. This was a sort of reverse of your typical romance which made it interesting. She's the workaholic and is a billionaire and is 7 years older and he is the talented, misunderstood artist. It seemed to me she was.always apologizing to him. I just couldn't get into this not sure why. I didn't connect. I wanted to like them but for a powerful, talented woman she was extremely insecure. I rate this a 3.

This book was intriguing and surprising. However, it took some trying to figure out what was going on in the beginning. After that though, the book had many facets and was enjoyable to read.

Reading an Ash book is like sensory magic wrapped in a romance novel. He's an artist, free with his love and emotions. She's a ruthless investor, closed off and lonely. Their dynamic is breathtaking and special but also sad. He's the sort of person with loads of self confidence. However she's timid with love and her emotions, more of what we expect from men. It's a bit of a role reversal. I instantly fell in love with them my heart went where they went, breaking and healing. Always a great thrill to receive an early copy through Netgalley, my review was written voluntarily.

Second in Madeline Ash’s Morgan Sisters series, His Billionaire Bride is contemporary romance at its very best. I can’t recall the last time I fell so far into a story. This book is elegantly written, sensual, emotional and utterly engrossing.
I loved that the story neatly reversed the billionaire trope so that heroine Carrie Morgan, a fierce warrior princess with a hidden vulnerability, is the one with the power and the money and all the trappings of success while her glorious hero Edwin Prince is an artist and a student. I love that despite the disparity in their outward stations in life Edwin is strong enough to see that it’s just window dressing. He’s willing to fight for what he believes he deserves.
Carrie’s story is about her choice to live rather than to merely exist though she has to face her fears in order to achieve what she really wants, “Being alone was her second choice. A forced decision sprung from the traumatic failure of her first choice—love.”
I loved the writing. It reaches out and makes you feel what the characters are feeling — Carrie gently being eased into sleep in Edwin’s studio, “Comforting sounds that joined with the smell of Edwin to scoop her up into the soft hands of sleep,” the way Edwin makes her feel that she belongs, “His closeness was like stepping into the right place after a lifetime of wrong turns.”
There is so much to love about this story it is hard to know where to start. The plot flows beautifully, the characters are real people with real wounds, hopes and dreams. Edwin’s art is utterly breathtaking, and Carrie’s strength and focus in her business world is mind blowing yet these two people have vulnerabilities that drive them apart and then back together. This story is a keeper.

Uniquely original and beautifully written. I couldn’t get enough of Carrie and Edwin.
Carrie and Edwin were as different as night and day. Together, they had a love so strong, everyone around them could feel it. Carrie was afraid to love because she feared losing someone, so she put a time limit on relationships. Edwin just wanted someone to love forever. He was done with temporary relationships. When Carrie’s sister hires Edwin to paint a bride on the side of her building, she wants Carrie to be the model. Carrie refuses to wear a wedding dress, but Edwin had a way of convincing her to do it. There was just something about him that could make anyone relax and let down their guard. From there, the romance builds and it was heartbreaking knowing it would end after only two weeks. I couldn’t wait to see how the author would turn the story around and give them a happily ever after.
This book was so good, I wasn’t ready for it to end, but I was happy to see Carrie and Edwin come together. I wasn’t sure what to think when Edwin’s secret came out, but it added a lot more depth to the story. At the end, I couldn’t help but get emotional. It was like watching a scene in a movie that you need a big box of tissue just to get through it. This book is the second in the Morgan Sisters series and can be read on its own, but I would recommend reading The Wedding Obsession first so you an get a good feel for the sisters. Plus, Emmie’s story is really good too.

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a creatively written romance novel. Carrie is a business woman infactuated with a young artist who convinces her to pose for a painting in a wedding dress. She craves the intimacy his presence provides but is afraid to trust him with her heart. He feels the same attraction and paints her in sessions that are both sensual and intimate. Well written and entertaining.

Carrie Morgan is a brilliant businesswoman, but she hesitates when it comes to Edwin. She is so used to battling every obstacle that gets in her way, that she is unsure how to deal with any possible commitment. When Edwin Prince asks her to sit for a portrait, she hesitates and only agrees to pacify her sister. When she has to sit for Edwin, she soon finds herself falling in love but confused by her feelings for him. Edwin has fantasised about Carrie and soon realises when he spends time with her, that theirs is the perfect connection. An interesting story with the emotions running high throughout. I particularly enjoyed Edwin’s character and gradually began to appreciate Carrie’s character. By the end, I was interested to see how both of them would resolve their personal issues to give love a chance.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

He wants to take a chance on love and she is too afraid due to her past experiences. Edwin is a young artist booked to paint a portrait of Carrie who is a workaholic. Their connection is profound but Carrie is walled off with a shield around her heart. She sets a time limit to their relationship but Edwin wants more and believes that he is the man for her. Will she lose him because of her insecurity or will she figure it out in time? I voluntarily agree to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Loved this
A truly original take on the genre which I found surprising and refreshing
A new author to me but I am now looking out for more from her

The Billionaire Bride is the second book in this series. I recommend reading the first book in the Morgan Sisters’ series. There are many characters that will touch your heart. I loved reading the story of Carrie and Edwin.

3.5 Oh the lovely wooing which happens in this book. You have a strong, capable businesswoman who finds herself sitting for a portrait in a wedding gown, no less. The irony of the dress is not lost on her for she has had too many ridiculous and disappointing romantic experiences. In fact, she has shut down that part of her heart and mind.
The artist who is going to paint her is like nothing she has ever experienced. He is light, friendly and easily considered charming. The portrait is important to him and his career and takes this commission seriously.
What happens next is a type of dance...a sensual game of flirting, teasing and actually sharing parts of themselves long before there is anything relating to a relationship. This man opens this woman to the idea of more and letting her walls down.

Are you ready to take a chance? Carrie Morgan has plenty of money but she isn't really happy with her life. Her whole life revolves around her work and being the best. So when she meets Edwin Prince sometimes changes but she is scared as she never really lets anyone in and he wants her for longer than she is comfortable. Edwin knows that he can make Carrie happy and he isn't happy when she gives him a time limit. He wants more from her than just a quick affair where he gets to see her when she sits for her painting and when she is available but he agrees to her terms. Carrie realizes too late that she is falling for Edwin and that she is scared that he will walk away and not give her a chance. What can she do to convince him that she is ready? Can Edwin take that chance as he has been hurt before but this is different with Carrie he could land up getting his heartbroken? Will they both be able to figure it out or will their time be over before they know it? A good read. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley & the publishing house in exchange for my honest review.

I was given an advanced copy for honest review.
This was a story about a very successful woman who put her personal life on the back burner in order to help take care of her family. Carrie is asked by her sister to allow an artist to use her likeness in a mural on the outside of her sisters shop. Edwin is a talented Artist finishing school and he has noticed Carrie before and is excited to possibly work together. Will Carrie allow Edwin to paint her? Will Carrie let down her walls to let living life into her busy business first world? Can Edwin trust himself as he knows he is falling for Carrie?
This was a ver interesting read. It showed success can happen to women as much as men. A successful women does not have to intimate a man who is confident in himself. There were so steamy parts but tastefully done.

His Billionaire Bride is a standalone however I have to say it is wonderful to have already been introduced to some of the characters in book one; the story does stand on its own. I was gobsmacked after reading book one and was totally floored with book two. I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I will tell you what I loved about His Billionaire Bride.
Carrie Morgan is a force of nature. Her personality is persnickety and prickly and warm and wonderful and loving. She is fierce where her family is concerned but mainly lives in her own little world where she is safe from social interactions and having to show her feelings. She’s been burned, badly and she deals by retreating into herself. I also enjoyed the work interactions within her company that reminded me so much of my time working with startup companies and the well-to-do founders. Edwin Prince is a talented, loving, sweet man who is amazing…and amazing at driving Carrie crazy. Loved him! And talk about his talent as an artist – it is fascinating how the author describes his art and talent so that you can actually see and feel it.
The author put much heart and soul into this story, and it shows. The characters experienced love, hurt, sorrow, joyfulness…so many different emotions from one end of the scale to the other. Carrie’s and Prince’s journey is up, down, and around but there is much genuineness in it that it touched me in all the right places. Don’t get me wrong – I really had some major issues with Prince’s parents and his friends. Carrie’s family has so much going on in their individual lives, but they always band and stick together, and fight for one another; it seems that is how they actually survive and flourish. There are big life issues in this story but Ms. Ash dealt with them smartly, with love, and touchingly. Both Carrie and Prince have to overcome self-recrimination before they can help themselves, and each other. Thru it all, I really liked that Prince always knew who he was and stayed strong. It was only by using his strength could he help Carrie.
I am really enjoying this series and can’t wait to read about another Morgan sister. I highly recommend this story and the series. I received an ARC via NetGalley and this is my honest review.

Not my usual genre and honestly I struggled with most of it., I didn't like Carrie and hoped Edwin would tell her to get lost. It's a well written book and usually I'm not a happily ever after person but I did want it to work for Edwin's sake.

I recieved a free digital copy from Netgalley and Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
Sadly I couldn't get into this one at all. I made it almost a thrid of the way in and nothing really happened... And yet at the same time every thing happened. I jumped from meeting to meeting with very little actually happening in between even though they talked about it. Neither of the main characters - Carrie or Edwin - were particularly likeable. Very little plot and little to no character development. No background - your just thrust into the story with no idea how/why it's really happening

I can't even begin to describe how much I loved this book. I reread the last couple chapters several times. The characters were very strong, but likeable. Edwin was so in love and Carrie was so afraid to love. I am now going to go find all of her books to download, especially the first one of this series.

Carrie is used to being in control, but when an art project involves the electric Edwin Prince, the strict businesswoman starts to crumble.

I didn't realise that this was the second book in the Morgan Sisters series, but it didn't affect my reading. This works perfectly as a stand-alone, and made me curious about the other sisters' stories.
Carrie is a confident and brilliant businesswoman. She has made a name for herself, at a relatively young age. She is a complete workaholic, and is happy to let her career dictate her life, as she is in high demand for meetings and sponsorships.
Her only break is going to her sister's club and watching the crowd, with one young man in particular catching her hungry gaze. Her rule has always been look: don't touch.
This is challenged when Edwin and Carrie have to work together on an art project.
Edwin is an artist finishing college, and he knows what he wants to dedicate his final project to - the wolf that has been watching him for months. He has fantisised about her for so long, he will do anything to make her happy.
Edwin has been rejected by his family and ex-lovers, but maybe this fiercely independent woman might be his perfect match.
This was a much more emotional and in-depth story than I was expecting. There are no "meet cute" tropes, there's no lightness or hints of humour. This is pure Contemporary Romance.
The story was intense and focussed on Cassie and Edwin's emotional journey.
As such, it was slow reading, and I was disappointed there wasn't more to the story. Midway through, we gains some insight into their behaviours. I found their respective histories intriguing, and I was miffed that they didn't explore them further. The one scene with Edwin's family was full of potential, and it felt wasted.
If I'm honest, I didn't like Carrie. For a pro-active go-getter, who is ruthless in every aspect of her life, she is completely naive when it comes to romance and flings. She makes up conflicting rules, doesn't know what she wants, and is ready to hurt Edwin before he hurts her.
Carrie's history into how she became a billionaire was rather lame. Emotionally traumatic, yes; but realistically? I never saw her as a savvy businesswoman. It's just a title that's lumbered on her, for the sake of the story.
The whole story was frustrating to read. Even Edwin gets unlikable towards the end. For an open-minded guy who wants whatever make Carrie happy, he's ready to pressure her into commitment and following a normative route, because hey, they've gotten to know each other for two weeks.
I got very growly at this part, and was happy when the book came to an end.
