Another BRILLIANT story of a crime that is made worse by rioting in london and DCI Anna Tate is called back to duty after having spent time at home with her daughter Chloe.I have loved reading this book and am happy that i got the baddie spot on.I highly recommend this book and look forward to his next.5*

For me this was a book of two halves I loved some of the book but found other parts to be a little slow, overall all though a good, entertaining read.Good plot and I enjoyed it.

The young Jacob didn't ever come again home from school. Later Anna Tate is called to a burning building where they found, a dead body that would belong to Jacob. The story is very good, with a very well and strong plot. The main character Anna is very smart and sympatic. It's very interesting to look into the case and it's interesting until the end.

J.P. Carter has written another amazing (DCI Anna Tate #3) book, Little Boy Lost. This is a highly original and thrilling read.
DCI Anna Tate is assigned to another difficult task, finding a missing child. London, where Anna lives and works, is in chaos after a police raid goes wrong and a woman is shot accidentally by an armed officer. People are rioting and the situation is seriously getting out of hand.
This is probably the best DCI Anna Tate book to date. I couldn't put it down and it played on my mind when I wasn't reading it. Highly recommended!

This is book three in the DCI Anna Tate series and by far the best one yet!!
We start with the discovery of a young boys body found in the cellar of a derelict pub, London is beset by riots and all hell is breaking loose someone set fire to the pub but did they realise the boy was there and why would someone want him dead. This is the start of a fabulous police procedural led by Anna and her team under ever growing pressure as the riots escalate making their job even more difficult.
As always JP Carter writing is spot on, the characters realistic and the continuing back story of Anna and her daughter adding so much to enjoyment of the read.
It’s a fast paced story that I was loathe to put down and I must admit I flew through it, full of suspense with a massive twist at the end it’s a brilliant read and I once more looking forward to reading the next in this terrific series. Well recommended as are the other books in the series, don’t miss out !!
My thanks to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for giving me the chance to read the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you NetGalley for this advanced copy. I just love this series. Great suspense. Seems like a lot of events for one day though! Good author I will continue to read.

Ten year old Jacob Rossi never comes home from school. A few days later DCI Anna Tate is called to the scene of a burning building where a body has been found, a body that would appear to belong to Jacob. Why would someone kill a little boy? Turns out that Jacob’s father had a lot of enemies, maybe someone angry enough to kill to get the ultimate revenge. But Anna’s search has just begun and she isn’t ruling anyone out yet. This is a strong police procedural with a smart, heroine
