**My thanks to Montlake Romance for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
This is the first time that i have either read a collaboration between these authors or read anything by Penelope Ward. I can honestly say that i really enjoyed this book and that i will more than likely read more from these authors in the future.
Griff sends Luca a letter, the first letter that Luca has received in eight years after an accident just stopped her sending letters back to her penpal Griff. His letter prompts her to open his last letter and the rest starts from there.
Luca has many issues, most which result from a friends death in a fire at a concert and she is now agoraphobic and apart from not leaving her house much, she also hates anywhere even slightly crowded.
Griff is finally a musician, but he has found that it comes at a cost and he has struggled to find someone to be close with. After their letter connection and subsequent dirty letters, after a leap of faith, finally meet.
The chemistry between the pair is awesome and the way that Griff looks after Luca without being asked and fights for the girl he loves is simply heart warming. Luca is certainly one lucky girl with how Griff takes care of her and her needs even if it hurts him.
I really, really enjoyed this story and look forward to more collaborations from these authors.
DIRTY LETTERS by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward is one of the best contemporary romances I have read this year! This romance has a swoon worthy rockstar hero and a heroine who is battling severe anxiety after a life altering event eight years ago.
Luca and Griffin became pen pals from the age of seven when Luca’s teacher set her class up to write to children in England. Luca’s life in New York could not have been more different than Griffin’s life in England, but they became best friends. They told each other their deepest fears and secrets and formed a bond that lasted over years, until Luca stopped answering Griffin’s letters.
Out of the blue, eight years later, Luca finds a letter from Griffin as she is cleaning out her deceased father’s apartment. His letter is full of anger over her breaking their connection.
Luca reconnects by letter with Griffin, who now lives in California. Luca explains to Griffin the reason for her discontinued writing and when he learns the cause he forgives her. The spark and deep connection is still there and soon the letters go from the flirty childhood connection they had, to an adult connection full of their wildest sexual fantasies.
Luca wants to meet in person, but Griffin is afraid that when Luca meets him, everything will change. Neither go by their real last names in their correspondence or professional lives. Luca is willing to take a huge leap and go find her friend, but what she finds is not what she expected. Can two such different people find a way to be together forever?
This is one of those romances that pull you in and when you reach “The End”, you do not feel any time has passed and you do not want to leave Luca and Griffin’s world. I had all my emotions yanked, tossed and pulled and believe me, you better have tissues for the last few chapters, some for sad tears and ultimately for happy tears. The parts of the story told in written letters between the H/h had me laughing out loud, squirming in my seat (explicit and sexy hot) and crying like a baby. There is just something so much more in a written letter than today’s emails, texts and phone calls. Griffin definitely made it to my book boyfriend list. Luca is written with empathy and is a wonderful portrayal of living through the good and bad days with an emotional anxiety disorder.
This is one of the most emotional, heartfelt and just plain romantic books I have read this year. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have “knocked it out of the park” with this collaboration! I highly recommend this romance!
„What comes easy won’t last long, and what lasts long won’t come easy.”
I’m a big fan of this writing duo and I was really excited about Dirty Letters. I was enchanted from the moment I saw this beautiful cover and I’ve read the blurb. That’s why I am very pleased to say that this book met all my expectations and became my favorite read from Vi and Penelope! Dirty Letters is an extremely romantic second chance story that warms the heart and causes butterflies in the stomach.
I love Griffin and Luca. From their unusual meeting, to the amazing and sincere friendship that united them. Vi and Penelope have beautifully shown that no distance can threaten the closeness that connects two people as long as they both want it. The letters they were sending to each other since childhood made me laugh, smile and swoon. Unfortunately, one day Luca didn't reply to Griffin’s letter and their contact froze for 8 years. Until Griffin on impulse grabbed the sheet and poured out his disappointment and frustration. Despite the fact that a lot has changed in recent years, the unusual bond that connects these two is still in place. It's even stronger because, despite the trust that Luca and Griffin have for each other, it’s charged with electrifying chemistry and longing. Unfortunately, not everything is as simple as it looks and these two have a big issue to overcome to be together and live happily. But is love enough to come face to face with your biggest fears?
Book Boyfriend alert! Griffin will make you crazy about him. This British rock star is so caring, understanding and swoon-worthy that I want to hand him my heart on the silver platter. And given his career and surroundings, this is a total surprise. He is also funny, devilishly sexy and he wants a commitment from the heroine. See? SWOON!
Luca is my hero. Despite the issue that makes her life miserable, this girl is strong and brave. It was a real pleasure to watch her fight day by day to finally get what she wanted. I was sorry about her past and I was cheering on her with all my strength, because she and Griffin complement each other so well that I didn't allow myself thinking about them not being together.
This book is adorable, heartwarming and steamy. I loved everything about it- great storyline, brilliant characters, the right amount of sexy moments, a speck of humor and perfect writing. Dirty Letters became my favorite novel from Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. Highly recommend!
"Love is everything. It matters more than fear. more than death. It transcends time"
Dirty Letters is one of my top reads of 2019, maybe EVER! Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward brought to life a story of love, loss, fear and everything in between.
"Sometimes the best things are also the most challenging"
Griffin and Luca are truly perfect for each other. Childhood pen pals who grew up on opposite sides of the pond prove that you don’t need to see your best friends in person have them close to your heart. As they grew up circumstances made their friendship/relationship harder but with one another in their heart, they meet again... all from a new letter. There were a million and one reasons for them not to be together but was their love for one another worth all of the struggle? Their story wasn’t all about Luca and Griffin, it was about their past loved ones who have helped shape them into who they are today and who they are with each other.
"Our fears are temporary -- they come and go throughout life. But regret is permanent -- we carry it with us forever"
Dirty Letters is an exquisite story about not letting fear rule your life. I felt so many emotions while devouring this story, but the main one was hope. I hope that everything would play out for Griffin and Luca. I hope that fear wouldn’t run Luca’s life. And hope that everyone who reads this takes something from it. Remember to hold your loved ones close and love them with every fibre of your being because in an instant they could be gone forever.
"They say that time heals all wounds, but I think when the wound stems from a broken heart, love is equally as important"
Get your tissues ready because you’ll need them. I didn’t think in the slightest that I would. I expect a happy laugh out loud hot story and while I was all of those in more I was still a weeping mess. ALL OF THE FEELS!
"What comes easy won't last long, and what lasts long won't come easy"
"Sometimes when love isn't enough to make things right, we need to let it go"
"It doesn't mean I don't love her anymore. There are just times in life when love isn't enough and being strong means being able to see that and making a decision"
"I think sometimes in life we have to go for the gusto, and if people don't think we're acting ridiculous, then we're not trying hard enough"
Overall Grade: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“But the weird thing is, while he didn’t know my identity and vice versa, he probably knew the real me better than anyone at that time.”
Some of my favorite books in literature have been what we call epistolary novels. An epistolary novel or story is one that is created through letters between the hero and heroine of a story. There something interesting to me about people writing letters back-and-forth to each other, using their emotions and inner thoughts to drive the story forward. Letters are personal artifacts of a person’s inner self. Most of the time, they come closest to the true essence of a person because their anonymity gives you the ability to pour your soul on the page. It’s why books like The Coquette engaged me during my literature studies. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s newest book, Dirty Letters, illustrates this power of the written word to bear one’s soul and heart.
Dirty Letters tells the story of Griffin and Luca. Griffin and Luca become pen pals as children. Their pen-pal relationship continues well into their teens/young adulthood (18) when tragedy strikes in Luca’s life and ends their relationship. Struggling through life with agoraphobia, Luca comes upon a letter one day, many years later, from Griffin. This letter becomes the impetus for their reconciliation as pen pals. Through this reconciliation, Luca and Griffin fall deeper into like, and one day, Luca is challenged to seek out the mystery of Griffin. She travels to California, where Griffin lives, to discover that he isn’t who she believes him to be. Will the love they began to grow in their letters find purchase in real life, or will Griffin’s secret life complicate their future?
One thing you ought to know about me with respect to Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward is I ADORE their heroes. Don’t get me wrong. Their heroines are well-crafted and interesting, but there is something special about the craftsmanship of their heroes. And Griffin is no different. Griffin has a secret (I won’t tell you that because I don’t want to spoil anything), and it complicates his relationship with Luca. But here’s the thing, here’s what’s usually dreamy about Keeland and Ward’s heroes, they adore their heroine. Like from day one. They fall fast for them, and there is something sexy and attractive about it. Rarely do their heads turn for anyone else once the heroine enters their life, and this is Griffin’s truth. It is also what generally causes the emotional crescendo of their romances, which is pronounced in this story. Griffin wants everything with Luca the minute she lands in California, and he is willing to move heaven and earth to make her his, even given her condition. It’s that type of hero that makes you believe that someone can love you like that. Even when the strife seeks to wreck their relationship, it’s your heart for Griffin that tears at your soul. That happens because Keeland and Ward create the heck out of their heroes. I challenge you to dislike Griff. You won’t be able to do it.
Additionally, Luca’s character is so complicated that it’s glorious to read. Honestly, besides their relationship strife, her characterization wrought the most emotional impact for me. She is complex and even, at times, difficult to like. In the eyes of Griffin, she’s glorious; she’s strength personified. Yet, to build that strength, she puts her readers through emotional turmoil, namely frustration. But I think that’s Keeland and Ward’s way of teaching us patience and empathy. It’s easy to be frustrated with Luca because we can’t understand her anxieties fully, which acts as an admonishment of sorts from our authors that showing empathy is necessary. Griffin and Doc (Dr. Maxwell) show us how to love Luca, how to love others like her. That’s an important lesson in this romance.
Lastly, Doc, Dr. Maxwell, is a treasure in this book. Oh my goodness. His character placed a smile on my face, and I can’t help but think that he’s the jester of this tale. In medieval tales, the jester exacts the comedy, but his words ring truth through the story. And that is Doc. He speaks wisdom to both Griffin and Luca, challenging them to love each other better while making us laugh with his love for birds and his eccentricity. I was thankful time and time again for him in this story as he balanced Griffin and Luca’s story well.
Finally, the epilogue to this story is one of my favorites of this year, if not ever. Once Griffin and Luca find their HEA, I love how Keeland and Ward present the sweet rewards of their trials. It’s loaded with so many special moments that I hated when it ended because there was a nostalgic melancholy entwined in it. Can I be honest? I hated finishing Dirty Letters because I simply loved Luca and Griffin’s story. This is how I feel when I finish a Keeland and Ward story, though. Their stories capture little pieces of my soul and fill the holes left behind with an understanding of the powerful nature of love to overcome life. The words of Griffin and Luca in this epistolary novel of sorts help us realize the power of words to build love. Ultimately, Dirty Letters is such a moving read for this year.
Oh my heart! What a beautiful, touching, emotional (and sexy!), well written story! I'm not gonna lie, I needed tissues – lots of them!
Griffin and Luca had been childhood pen pals. Over the years they told each other everything. Until one day Luca suddenly stopped writing. Griffin didn't understand why, and so - eight years after sending his last letter – he drunkenly decides to reach out to her one last time. What transpires made me laugh, cry and everything in between! Griffin and Luca are adorable together!
I loved EVERYTHING about this book. I adore Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward's books, but this is hands down, my favourite of theirs. You'll LOVE it!
I wanted to love this book so much. It had one of my favorite tropes which is falling in love via letters or text. My problem, however, lies in the execution. I didn’t find our main character likable or relatable. This is really sad because we both suffer from anxiety, so I thought I would love her and see myself in her. Maybe I put on too much pressure? I enjoyed Griffin’s character. However, I didn’t buy them as a romantic couple. The chemistry just wasn’t there.
With the lack of chemistry and no main character to root for, my rating for this isn’t very. However, this book has a lot of hype and good reviews so I could just be the minority in the matter.
"We live in both the light and the dark", no truer words have been spoken. But in this book, Griffin speaks of the as a loneliness that traps him from the freedom of being himself, a normal man in love. For his one true love the darkness he speaks of is her fear of the world. The way she has trapped herself hidden away from the world, from living in the light, only catching glimpses of freedom in small doses. Agoraphobia, is what has kept her away hidden from the world, until fate give her a glimpse of what she could have in a simple letter.
The title of this book may be a little misleading, yes there are letters involved but they are not all truly dirty. They are letters between friends, reconnecting, forming a bond that was out of her reach for so long.
A beautiful story of love and self discovery. A story that shows just how strong can really be if it is true and patient.
Another hit form the dynamic duo, that never ceases to amaze me. Their imagination an gift for telling powerful stories that live long after you have read them. A story so well written that it begs to be read again and again. A perfect book with a long fought for happy ending, for even those that suffer, tapped in the darkness deserve to have a happy ending that will bring light into your hearts.
5 'My sun, moon and stars' Stars!

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward just keep getting better. This incredible duo have written another unique love story that is now surely one of my top favorites by them. Their stories have just the right amount of everything I love in a romance novel and Dirty Letters is no exception. Get your grabby hands ready because you don’t want to miss this release coming November 5th!
So, Dirty Letters is this duo’s upcoming novel and it’s a standalone contemporary romance. It’s focused in two childhood pen-pals that lost touch years ago and reconnect after Luca (the heroine) finds a new letter from Griffin while in a trip to New York. Actually, it was Luca who decided to cut that relationship short and now, feeling guilty over everything that made her stop writing in the past, she finally writes back to her angered friend. That is the start of a series of letters that become dirty, honest and sentimental and it also starts this beautiful love story.
Sometimes when you follow your dreams, you realize they aren’t free, and the cost is far greater than you’d ever anticipated.
Wow, that was such a fresh read! I knew when it comes to Vi and Penelope that it will not be a typical romance and that is what makes their stories so wonderful to read. Luca suffers from agoraphobia (consequence of a heartbreaking event in her past) and her rekindled connection with Griffin starts her slowly coming out of her shell. It was so touching to see the development of this love story, especially with the difficulties of Griffin being a famous musician and how that affects them both in different ways.
As if his gorgeous face, flawless body, and sexy voice weren’t enough—God seriously pulled out all His tricks when He made this man.
I just loved this couple so much, from beginning to end. I loved the start of their relationship with the letters, how those feelings and sexual tension exploded when they finally meet in person and how emotional everything became for them. Of course, Griffin was so swoony and, obviously, he is very talented with his mouth (and not only to sing!). The sexy scenes were amazing and the chemistry and connection between Luca and Griffin was to die for. It was a long and interesting journey for these characters but I am so glad they found their HEA.
Love is everything. It matters more than fear, more than death. It transcends time.
Therefore, I am rating Dirty Letters with 5 STARS because I always enjoy a unique romance novel and Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward definitely did not disappoint with this one. We even get a wonderful surprise in the end and, trust me, you don’t want to miss it. I loved Griffin and Luca, how they took their relationship to the next level and the special connection they share. I just love these two authors working together and I cannot wait for whatever is coming next!
Another great collab from Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward! I pretty much devoured this book in a lazy Sunday afternoon because I could not get enough of Griffin and Luca! The history between these two -- childhood pen pals who never met -- was an original twist on the celebrity/ordinary girl romance.
The authors did a great job of detailing Luca's crippling anxiety, and how that worked against Griffin's life as a famous singer. As much as they tried to make their relationship work, is his life of extremes too much for her to handle?
In the end, of course, Luca and Griffin strike a great balance. He's so sweet in the way he protects and cares for her, goes out of his way to make sure that everything is perfect and takes into consideration all of her anxiety issues. And on the flip side, all of Luca's reasons for wanting to break things off stemmed from her love for him, and not wanting her issues to drag Griffin down.
Dirty Letters is all kinds of sweetness, but still full of steam. I loved it! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
Characters: Griffin Quinn and Luca Vinetti are the main characters of this story. Luca is suffering from agoraphobia after trauma she experienced in her late teens. She lets her illness dominate her character at the beginning of the story. As the story progresses she finds ways to adjust to a life with her illness in it, but not dominating it. Griffin's personality is that of someone warm, comforting, and yet lost in his own world.
Setting: Luca lives in Vermont, while Griffin lives in Los Angeles so you get to see both of these settings within the story. As well as travels to other places and the journeys from Vermont to Los Angeles.
Pacing: The pacing was good, nothing seemed rush. The characters' backstories were developed well as so much important relationship-building occurs before this novel begins.
Romance: Luca and Griffin are so deserving of one another. They both live in restricting worlds where the only solace for that is each other. This pseudo-second chance romance was wonderful, it was so rewarding to see two people who deeply loved each other in the past to fall back in love in their new present realities.

That guy on the cover is the hottest thing since Dragon's Breath pepper. Ahem...
So...DIRTY LETTERS is the new co-authored friends-to-lovers/rockstar romance that I found utterly refreshing. The heroine is agoraphobic, that first reared its ugly head after her best friend died in a fire at a concert. And there, of course, is also survivor's guilt. When Luca was seven years old she became pen pals with a boy in England. They became best friends and confidantes over the years, their honesty one of the most remarkable features of their friendship. Until the fire.
Luca was in her senior year when she ghosted Griffin. Griffin, now a famous rockstar known as Cole Archer, lets her know how he feels about this in a petty letter eighteen years later. I have to say, I was happy to see how fast Griffin forgave Luca. For a few months these two communicate only by letter and they find back into their easy friendship with the addition of a growing attraction. But Griffin, who has learned the hard way that fame comes at a price, cherishes the fact that Luca doesn't know who he is.
Money and fame couldn’t buy happiness, and I was starting to think I’d trade thousands of women wearing my face on their chests for one woman resting her face on my chest at night.
I have so much love for all the characters in this book. Griffin was a great guy, an amazing friend and a patient, understanding boyfriend who was totally besotted with his girl, how he held on when things got rough, never letting her down. The way Luca's debilitating condition was portrayed made her relatable and my heart ached for her because, really, when you can't go out of the house without fearing a panic attack, how do you deal with rabid fans and press and paps? The despair because you're trapped in your head...what do you have to offer except your heart?
“It will never be perfect. It will never not be scary. So if you’re waiting for this to not feel terrifying, it never will. There will be hard times. But there will be amazing ones, too. You have to decide whether we’re worth the hardships. In the end, it’s going to come down to one thing: whether love is enough.”
Lastly, there is Doc, Luca's therapist, who was simply the sweetest. In my mind he looked like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. He is Luca's rock and I loved how he showed up with a borrowed RV and took his patient on an unforgettable, life-changing road trip.
Dirty Letters packs a good portion of steam and a mountain of emotions and a lot of material to think about. I love that these two authors always put their own stamp on a story and make it refreshing and original. I enjoyed every minute, every word, every decision these characters made were with the love for the other one in mind and that's what true romance is. The epilogue was (with a tiny caveat) sweet and I was so happy to see Luca and Griffin getting their well deserved happy ever after. You can't go wrong picking this up.
"I won’t always be able to give you your light back, because sometimes you need to find that within yourself, but I’ll stand by your side and hold your hand in the dark so things aren’t so scary.”
All The Stars
One of the best books I’ve read this year!!!
Dirty Letters is the all new fantastic stand-alone novel by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. Every time I think this duo cannot get any better, they go and prove me wrong. While I’m sure I’m like everyone else who loves so many authors, I can count on one hand how many truly make me feel-and Ward and Keeland are two of them. Dirty Letters was an emotional read that I could not put down. From the very first page to the last, I was fully engrossed in each and every word. I needed to know what was going to happen.
Luca was a wonderful character-so different and unique. She suffers from anxiety and is agoraphobic. She doesn’t do big crowds and sure doesn’t travel. But when her old pen pal Griff decides to write her, she has no idea how much her life is about to change.
Griff...what can I say about this character who honestly stole my heart from the beginning...His patience was admirable and his heart was pure. My heart ached for him at times but what I loved most is that I just connected with him from the start. Can one drunken letter to an old pen pal really change anything? He’s about to find out!!
Dirty Letters was an excellent story. Out of all of the emotions I felt while reading happiness and love were the strongest. Yes, I shed a few tears but I was left with the biggest smile on my face. I can not recommend this book enough!
Luca is heading home to close off the final chapter from her past. Once she is there, she discovers a letter from her childhood pen pal, Griffin Quinn. Several years have passed since their last correspondence and Luca’s life has changed dramatically. Nonetheless, she is startled at the hostility of Griffin’s tone. The pain she caused by ceasing all communication with him prompts her to reach back out to him.
Griffin’s life is so different from what Luca has to deal with. He is happy to have his best friend back despite feeling really sad to discover that Luca has Agoraphobia (a person afraid of places that causes panic) after a traumatic event when she was seventeen. They strike up a relationship via letters that leave Luca wanting to desperately try to find a way to be more than friends.
This is where everything gets interesting. This story got real very quickly and it put me in an emotional turmoil because I wasn’t too sure how this would work. The issues that Luca face are very real. I felt the undeniable chemistry from just the letters but when they finally meet, it is chart topping.
I love me some Griffin. He is just the kindest and sweetest man. He stuck it out no matter what. Luca threw in the towel so many times but he held firm for her.
“We all have light and dark inside us, love. We try to hide the darkness from others because we’re afraid it will scare them away. But your dark doesn’t scare me, Luca. It only makes me want to hold your hand and be your light until you can find your own again.”
I held my breath to calm some of my own anxiety because it was all too much to deal with. How does this real life issues hold up in romance?
“It will never be perfect. It will never not be scary. So if you’re waiting for this to not feel terrifying, it never will. There will be hard times. But there will amazing ones, too. You have to decide whether we’re worth the hardships. In the end, it’s going to come down to one thing: whether love is enough”
By the end of the book, after several tears, I smiled. The journey is worth it. I love the story and all its heaviness. The authors did a really good job with Luca’s issues and tying together a HEA for her that seem realistic.

I love this story. I adore this writing duo. I may have said this before, but this is my absolute favorite by them so far. I love the angst and the heart. I love the letter writing. I love how the issues were tackled in this story. I love the complex characters and how well they are developed. I loved everything about this story and it held me captive the entire time I read. I could not put it down. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
It has been a long time since Luca has seen a letter from her pen pal Griffin, so when she runs across some while cleaning out her late fathers home, it starts to bring back some good memories... and a few bad ones too. They first met through a pen pal letter program at age seven, and were quick to strike up a friendship, one that lasted well into their high school years. They were the best of friends, well enough that Luca felt comfortable enough to tell him all her secrets.
But then Luca's life derailed a bit and she stopped writing letters... and to her dismay she just discovered that Griffin never stopped writing. Now as she reads all his letters she feels compelled to finally write him back, and of course apologize for her absence, and explain why she stopped corresponding. Now she just has to put pen to paper and hope it's not to late...
Dirty Letters is a story of friendship, love, and second chances. These two met as children, found an easy friendship that lasted well into their high school years, but then tragedy drove them apart. Losing Griffin's friendship has always haunted Luca, he was the one person who understood her and she could turn to when she needed advice or support. She has went a lot of years without her friend, so when she discovers his letters it's like life is extending her a second chance, one she doesn't take lightly. It was so much fun watching these two re-connect and discover a new side to their friendship, their conversations had me smiling and blushing a bit too. This was a delightful friends to lovers romance that did my heart all kinds of good, it's words brought feels, swoons, and lots of smiles! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, via NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Dirty Letters is another great read from the writing duo of Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. I quickly got sucked into this story and finished it in one day.
Loved how open and free Luca was able to be with Griffin when they started writing each other again. The anonymity of not having met Griffin in person allowed her to not hold back in what she was thinking or feeling. I think it was very therapeutic for her, especially with the issues she was dealing with. I just wish they had kept writing those letters a little longer, but I guess once they met it only makes sense that they stopped. And Griffin.....he was so sweet and patient with Luca. He never pressured her into anything until she was ready and I adored him for that. He is just one of those male heroes that you can't help but fall for.
Definitely recommend this one!
Interesting premise, well executed, great characters, steamy and hot ! The chemistry is great but I loved the way the authors dealt with their relationship and didn’t do a magic quick fixable all the problems go away,, but dealt with issues realistically , thoroughly enjoyable read
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion
A new story created by the duo Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward takes on the tale of a woman afraid of the world who hides herself away, never venturing out unless under the cover of darkness, who has let fear rule her life for eight long years. Her only companion is her therapist, her rock and one true friend. Until the day she finds a letter from her old penpal from England and it all comes back again. He is angry she just stopped writing, no explanation. It broke his heart. But what he doesn't know is why? Why did she stop? She owes him that much atleast. Thus begins another chapter in her life, one where she must be brave and let herself feel again, concur her fears and just maybe find an epic love story at the end. Hopefully you will love this one as much as I have. It was heartfelt, emotional and real and I could not put it down!
I’d like to applaud these 2 authors, for writing a book that tackled some pretty serious issues and doing so without sugar coating and miraculous recoveries. It was hard to read at times, emotional and heartbreaking but the connection between Luca and Griffin is strong and well developed throughout the book. I especially enjoyed Doc. Overall, a really good read.
