Another great book from Cara Hunter. Twists and red herrings galore to keep the reader guessing.. Well worth a read

Another Cara Hunter success! Written so realistically and true to the story line that you are swept along with the characters. Her signature twists and turns are all there making this latest book of hers an absolute winner! I could not put it down-so no different to normal 🤣

Faith is a teenage girls and she’s been abducted and assaulted on her way to sixth form college. The taxi driver who found Faith wandering in a disheveled state that reported it and Faith refuses to press charges. DI Adam Fawley and his team are investigating and wonder why Faith is so reticent - what is she hiding? The case has similarities to a case Adam investigated several years ago, that of the Roadside Rapist, but that perpetrator is in prison. Fawley is concerned that the news about this case will cause stress and anxiety for his wife Alex who is pregnant. Then another teenage girl is abducted and when her body is discovered there are similarities to the attack on Faith and the old case. The truth about the case is truly shocking for all involved.
I’ve read and enjoyed the other books in this series and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Fantastic read!
Thanks to Netgalley, Penguin Books and Cara Hunter for the ARC of this book in return for an honest review.

Love Cara Hunter and this current book did not disappoint.
What I really liked about this was the author giving us a little more story surrounding Adam Fawley's personal life as well as the current case he is dealing with. We also learnt a little more about the team around him and their characters which draws the reader in more.
The first case is Faith a girl who was attacked and does not want to press charges. Something tells the team to follow up on this and it all starts from here. Then another girl disappears which makes Adam question this against another case he had worked on in the past. Full of twists and turns to keep you guessing. A few red herrings too!
Thank you Netgalley, Penguin and the author for the ARC.

This is the fourth book with DI Fawley and this lives up to the previous three. A girl is found stumbling on the street but when police go to investigate she says it was an prank gone wrong and refuses to take it further. This does not stop DI Fawley and his team investigating where they find a link to a closed case from years before. I thought the story was great and very current with today’s society. Can’t wait for book five!
Thanks to Penguin books and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
#AllTheRage #NetGalley

Cara Hunter you amaze me yet again with this book #4 in the DI Adam Fawley series which in my opinion is one of the best police procedural series going.
The writing is as always superb keeping you guessing and turning the pages as the plot thickens with a stunning storyline, always real and never giving you the feeling that it’s all a bit far fetched because nope this is a series that’s always been top notch and this book 4 lives up to all the previous instalment’s, hard to say it’s better because reads like this just don’t get any better so good they are.
I love Fawley and the team these are characters that you really care about and it’s been brilliant to follow all their journeys and long may it last please.
I’m not going to say more about the story as I don’t want to spoil it I would just say don’t miss this, grab a copy and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Many ,many thanks once more Cara Hunter for this exceptional 5 star read.
My thanks also to NetGalley and Penguin Books Uk for giving me the chance to read the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love the Di Fawley books so much. After the 4gh one in the series, you would think Cara would show signs of slowing down but no, her novels are still amazing. The only other books which I love half as much are MJ Arlidges books. Amazing, can't wait for the 5th in the series

I did struggle a bit with this book. I have read the previous books and found this a bit repetitive. I like how the characters are progressing and will look forward to reading about them#NetGalley #AllTheRage

This is a series which gets better and better. All The Rage is well-written with very strong characters, and Oxford is beautifully depicted. Assault and murder proliferate, and there are similarities to a past case of Adam's, in which his wife Alex was involved. Alongside the main case, the domestic situation makes fascinating reading. An excellent novel!

Thank you for the opportunity to read this book and I really enjoyed it. It holds up. Its usual standards and I was not disappointed in the latest episode of Adam Fawley. I can't wait for the next one after the massive cliff hanger...

This is a great psychological thriller. This is the fourth book that I have read by this author and this is as good as the previous ones
Excellently written and captivated me from beginning to end
An excellent read

Wow, it's hard to believe that Cara Hunter can improve on her Fawley books, but this is a cracker. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Cannot recommend it highly enough, just keep them coming.

Thank you Netgalley and Penguin books for this ARC. Having just finished No Way Out it was such a treat to be able to jump right into this. A big fan of this series from the first book Close To Home I am loving the characters and the subplot development. The main plot sizzles with intrigue. Young girls are being abducted and the evidence has worryingly accurate similarities to an old settled case very close to home for Fawley. You’re taken down a path with unthinkable consequences only to be totally sideswiped and then, just when you think it’s all going to be ok, you’re left knowing the future will be far from that

Thoroughly enjoyed Cara’s previous books & this latest book did not disappoint.
The fast paced storyline had me hooked from the outset.
Really like the ongoing storyline with the main characters & I look forward to seeing how this develops.

I love Cara Hunter’s DI Fawley books and this one is no exception!!! Everything about it was just wow - from beginning (which I was desperately trying to work out where it fitted in) right through to the end. The writing - the suspense - the red herrings and the guessing right up to the end as to who the culprit was. I changed my mind a few times through the book but never came close to guessing the ending!!
A young girl turns up on a road, severely dishevelled and distressed. She doesn’t want the police involved and claims it’s an April Fool prank gone wrong.
A few days later, another young girl goes missing and there are similarities between this and the one preceding it. There are also alarmingly elements of these attacks which mirror a case almost twenty years ago. Understandably DI Fawley’s team find themselves under pressure.
In case you are in any doubt, I loved this book. Gutted that I have ages to wait until the next one in the series is released. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced read copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

This is a corker of a book. I raced through it. I found the narrative a bit disconcerting when it flipped to first person, but just ran with it in the end. I was a big frustrated at the beginning because I was convinced the police were heading off on the wrong path, and then the plot took hold and kept me captivated right until the end.
There’s a few underlying storylines to be explored in future books, and I’m really looking forward to the next one. Thanks for letting me read and review.

I really enjoyed this. So full of twists and turns I didn’t have a clue who was responsible for what? Really well written in fact parts got me quite emotional. A brilliant twist at the end leaves me waiting for more! Highly recommend

Enjoyed the story line but absolutely hate the tweets other extra inserts. Some may enjoy them but for me it makes for disjointed reading and I don't feel they add value.

DI Fawley is investigating a case that bears a remarkable resemblance to one he investigated over 20 years ago. The culprit has been in prison ever since, although he has always pleaded his innocence. Did Fawley send the wrong man to prison or is it a copycat killing?
Personally, I think this is Cara Hunter’s finest book yet, mainly because the plot focusses more on D I Fawley and his home life. Also, Fawley’s team as a whole were given more prominence rather than the emphasis being on the alleged murderer / victim.
As usual, we have the Tweets and Facebook mentions to add authenticity to the story.
Cara Hunter is meticulous in portraying the day to day grueling detective work. I, for one, never try and second-guess her, but rather follow the murder inquiry as a bystander, this way I get the true feeling of the investigation as it is played out.

When a teenage girl is attacked but doesn’t report it to the police, Fawley and his team investigate the reasons why. Adam is already quite highly strung with his wife being pregnant and he wants to protect her and then an old case comes back that could jeopardise everything.
Cara has done it yet again! When you wonder can this series continue to excel the answer is YES! Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.
