This is the first book I have read by Karen Rose and it certainly won't be my last. This was an edge of your seat read which you didn't want to end.

When I saw how long the book was I was expecting it to be a long drawn out story - how wrong was I. It was packed with action, suspense and drama. It was extremely well written and I could visualise every character, especially Deacon. By the last three quarters i could not put it down and was desperate to find out who the killer or killers were.

I highly recommend this book and I am now looking forward to reading book 2.

Karen Rose has done it again! Delivered a rollercoaster ride to start off another new thrilling series.

The balance of suspense and romance is perfect, watching the relationship between Deacon & Faith bloom in such a short time period was breathtaking at times (you'll understand if you've read the whole book 😉) and written so well.

The characters are e extremely well written and I love the way the 'vicfims' are portrayed with their strength and resilience shining through.

I've read all of Karen Rose books but this will always be my favourite, the one that really took my breathe away and had me gripped from the first page.

Even though this was a really long book it just kept me turning the pages, never questioning when it would end like others do but constantly questioning 'WHO DONE IT?'

Terrific plot, great characters, full of twists turns and dips.

Hold your breathe and jump straight in, you wont be disappointed!

As usual, I loved this book! I'm a huge Karen Rose fan and love the way she weaves characters from previous books into her new series's so that they all link into her romantic suspense series, each one set in a different city. I can't recommend this blend of crime thriller and romance, enough!
