Unfortunately, I was unable to open this book. Not sure if it is corrupted or something. So I cannot review at this time.
10-minute declutter by Skye Alexander is a quick, easy to read book that can give pointers and tips to de clutter the cluttered lives!
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion.
This is an interesting home read in this era of decluttering, thanks to the popularity "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up" has enjoyed. This book focuses on energy work in the home and feng shui in addition to general decluttering; it made me realize I'm already pretty neat!
The feng shui overiew was interesting but the de-c;luttering tips were a regurgitation of everything that's already out there. However I think the purpose of the book is for a quick dip in spark of inspiration and not to provide a new program for doing things. I liked the crispness and clean lines of the illustrations and I think it would make a good Gift book. It definitely has a market as a Gift book or would be suitable for a younger generation just getting started in their first homes.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Ok I admit it, I am a hoarder. I have the.last letter my mom wrote to me. So I thought this would be an I interesting book to give me tips on how to be less cluttered. I couldn't connect. Really keep a bell by your bed and ring it each time you enter the room??? What??? That's clutter to me. So I can't say that this was helpful. The tips were common sense. Throw away old makeup stuff like that. I rate it a 2.5 as I just couldn't wrap my head around the feng shua stuff.
This book is a very practical guide with lots of tips on how to keep all aspects of your life decluttered! I enjoyed the brief description on Feng Shui as I haven't looked into that much yet (though I will be reading the author's book on that topic as well). The booked is laid out nicely and easy to follow as the author provides numerous tips on how to keep your home life, personal life, work life, car, outside your home and more organized! I didn't necessarily learn any new tips but was reminded of many that can easily be forgotten- such as throwing away old cosmetics, old medications and so much more! I also enjoy the reminders about our digital lives that can become so cluttered- such as deleting emails regularly, answering them promptly, coding your calendar for reminders, and more. Thank you to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Fair Winds Press for an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

I had been looking forward to reading this book. The description had sounded right up my street. But it didn’t impress me. There was nothing new that I had t read before. No hints and tips that haven’t been tried and tested before. Very disappointing
This book is a little gem. Simple things easily manageable that can only improve your wellbeing. Broken down into areas of focus that suggest simple manageable things, in no more than 10 to 20 lines, you can achieve in minutes. But over a short time will make a huge change in the way you live and feel. Just reading it I could feel the weight of years of clutter lifting off my shoulders. The books presentation is clean and simple with pleasant three tone bloke print illustration decluttering your life feels achievable.
