I love finding new authors and look forward to reading book two in the series. Jenna Morgan is called to a crime scene that finds a dead body and Jenna’s sister, Fliss, missing. What follows is a race against time to find who the missing woman is and who took her sister.
I liked the introduction to this new protagonist and her team. I did guess who the kidnapper was but I didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the novel.

thank you for giving me a copy I so enjoyed and I from Shropshire where book is set this book is twisty addictive a must read Jenna is a detective . with a sister and dog that she finds annoying . then one night Fliss and Domino go for a walk but she never comes back as she found something she should not but the caracters in this book are brilliant I so cant wait for book 2 a must read so recommend

A deliciously dark and twisty psychological thriller.
This book grabbed my attention and kept it throughout. The plot flows beautifully and makes it impossible to put down. It keeps you guessing to the end.
The characters were well thought out and well rounded. There were undercurrents in their interactions, which added to the plot and kept up the suspense, of which there was plenty.
A chilling read, in which everything meshes into a very satisfying and enjoyable whole. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
