A beautifully written book about one woman’s search for God outside the church after the death of her husband priest. There is both pain and light here and the author’s honesty re her journey shines through. I’d say though that my impression is of someone who has been a priest’s wife without really knowing God (I could be wrong). There is much I disagree with theologically but it is still a worthwhile insight into one person’s journey to find meaning in life.
