Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for granting my “wish” to read part 2 of this mini series. Can I be really cheeky and ask for part 3 now as I. Dying to know what happens next after that cliff hanger ending .......
Great continuation to the story and an ending that makes you want to read more.
I enjoyed the first instalment of Regan's story and this second part didn't disappoint.
Regan is trying to turn her life around, she's desperately in love with Charlie but he's trying to push her away to protect them both.
Hurry up with part 3!
I was extremely lucky to have been given the opportunity to read and review the second book in this new series! I instantly paused the book I was reading to switch to this one. What can I say! It was better than the first part and has left me wanting more! The story pulls at your heart strings and makes you realise that bad things can happen to the nicest of people or that bad things bring out the best in people - you decide. I cannot wait for the next part and don’t want to give too much away but the ending left me shocked andI have to know what happens next!
Thank you to Avon Books for a digital review copy - my thoughts are my own.
Having enjoyed Part One, I was eager to find out what happened next to Regan. As her relationship with Charlie becomes a roller coaster ride of emotions, Regan needs to find ways to follow her dream to run her own business.
Part Two ended on cliff hanger and I'm eager to read Part Three.
Well things get a bit dark and twisty for poor Regan in this installment, we really get in much deeper into her storyline and her reasons for being. I like that we really got to know Regan as a character during part 1, out of the blue because that means we can move forward with the plot of the sotry in this installment and get to know ore about some of the side characters, namely Penny, Charlie and Kevin.
I really like Penny as a character and I love the fact that we have a side character who is a little more diverse, Penny is gay and is also an entrepreneur who I feel will really give Regan some help and support over the course of this novel. I have enjoyed getting to know Charlie although I find him a little frustrating as a person. On paper he is a fireman who practices mindfulness and I love that about him but in reality he is still a bit of a mystery and I want to jump into the book and find out some more about him. I like that this book does put a focus on homelessness and the risks for people who are homeless physically and mentally and I've enjoyed getting to know Kevin through that and his dog Elivs. We definitely get deeper into Kevin's story in this part of the book.
This installment drives the plot forwards in terms of Regan's bucket list and her life plans. She ticks off a couple of things on her list and takes steps towards having her own business. I really like the steps that she took towards this (no spoilers here) and I'll be really interested to see how this develops in future parts. There's also the potential to develop more side characters from her new business plan and I am looking forward to seeing where that goes. Chloe is an interesting side character and sub plot and I really hope we get to see and hear a bit more from her in future parts because I feel like she is important but we don't really know how she fits into Regan's life as much because she is such a distance away...
So part 2 of Pebble Beach definitely got darker, we got to know people more and we moved on with Regan's life plan. I am itching to find out what happens in part 3!
Part two in this nice series sees us learn more about Charlie and Reagan not not much more about the mysterious Kevin. Reagan has an unworkable scheme to make money, Charlie's still a great guy, and well, I'm looking forward to part three! This is a fun short read but you very much need to have read the first novella in order to appreciate this one. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Perfect light reading.
oh YES YES YES YES for this second book of the "Meet me at Pebble Beach" series! It is so so so so GOOD! Even better than the first part! It's such a page-turner! You can't stop reading, you need to know what will happen! There is so much going on, you never get bored, it's so well written, I love this so much!!! And again, just like the first part, the second part finishes on a cliffhanger, it's too much for my heart! I need the 3rd part! I need it so badly! I so want to know what will happen next! Bella Osborne, I already knew you were good from your previous book, but now I think you are a genius! I give this second book of the series a 5 stars out of 5! It was the perfect read!!!!
Oh I love Bella Osborne, her books never fail to make me smile.
I have devoured this book in just one sitting it has been a great escape and left me smiling. I cannot wait to read more. Highly deserving of five stars.

4 Star⭐⭐⭐⭐
“You’re not that irresistible, Charlie McGee”!!
I had to come back for more after getting drawn in by part one of this four part series!
Part two had me smiling and laughing out loud all over again!
It also pulled on my heartstrings quite a bit and I truly become deeply invested with all of the characters.
It takes us on the journey of Regan getting her life back in order. The building of her relationship with Charlie, the possibility of a new business venture, her trying to help out her dad, her continued caring for homeless man Kevin and his dog Elvis and a cliffhanger of an ending!
Will part three have us in tears of devastation or joy?
Thank you Netgalley, Avon Books UK and Bella Osborne for the review eARC in return for my honest review.
Really enjoyed part 2, the story keeps developing, it makes me want to keep readying and not put the book down, really looking forward to find out what happens between Charlie and Regan and how and if the relationship develops further, while awaiting to see what happens with the market stall
Regan is trying to get her life back on track and although she is still squatting in Cleo’s studio her relationship with Charlie appears to be going well. Coming up with an idea that could enable her to earn a living she dares to believe her life could be improving.
Then after a heart to heart with Charlie and an incident involving Kevin, Regan fears her new found optimism was misplaced.
The characters really grew in this second book. I found myself totally absorbed in the story and the ending had me shouting in shock!
What a great segment book!
Part two definitely intensifies the suspense of the happenings.
In this part of the series we can see the thinking of both Charlie and Regan and their logical reasoning of things, their relationship and you just have to have feeling for both of them. As a hopeless romantic I hope and secretly think that they are going to be happy together.
It is really great reading about someone that owns their shit, acknowledges the mistakes and tries to make the best out from the circumstances surrounding them. That is the main reason I love the character of Regan - falling down to the bottom, never forgetting to be kind when she can and trying her best to change something. Nothing too big happens but we can see how her different relations come together to help her in a very simple way that means everything to her.
I am very eagerly awaiting the third installment.
Regan Begins Her Future
This book is part two of a series that must be read in order like chapters in a book.
This episode has a big message about how to be a good person while you live your own life. I love this series and can't wait for the next episode. I received this ARC book for free from Net Galley and this is my honest review.
Part two of Meet Me at Pebble Beach is full of drama leaving us on such a cliffhanger for part 3. Once again we join hapless Regan as she attempts to embark on a new business venture plus build on her relationship with lovely Charlie. This part will make you feel all sorts of emotions and longing for part three. Thank you to NetGalley, Avon Books and the author for the chance to review.
I just received an advanced copy ofthis book in exchange for an honest review.
You can receive your copy here : https://www.amazon.com/Meet-Me-Pebble-Beach-Part-ebook/dp/B07WNKTLTP/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=In+Too+Deep+%28Meet+Me+at+Pebble+Beach+%232%29&qid=1585321589&sr=8-1 Thistitle is set to be released on April 16, 2020. You could download Part 2 at this time, or youcan wait until May 28th for the entire story. You can only imaginethe excitement when I received the email stating that sometimes wishes aregranted! Well, some of my wishes were. I am still available for sociallydistanced Happy Hour with the author, despite the time difference! I am NOTOPPOSED to Day drinking, I used to get paid to serve people and encourage it!We can be Instagram friends and do stories together. I truly NEED to be herBFF! We are in different times here in the World. Bella isEXACTLY what we need right now! She starts this book out with a BRAIN TUMOR. Iam sorry, but the first thing that I thought when I read this was Arnold Schwarzeneggersaying, “It’s not a TUMOR!” from Kindergarten Cop. I was not trying to beinsensitive, but it was comical. Regan quickly snags a temporary job with herfriend Penny, while Kasia is laid up with a strained Achilles. After hearingthe news, Regan is torn in so many ways! She had quite the day, dropping herphone down the loo or toilet as we call it here in the United States. Charlie’sbrain tumor is making Regan reconsider her entire life. Charlie talks about howRegan is really the only one person standing in her own way of happiness. Isn’tthat true with all of us? We make excuses, but the real reason that we do notdo things is that we are scared. Fear is what holds us back. Fear is what mustbe holding the author back from being my bestie. What if I am the BESTESTfriend that she will ever know? She will never find out without contacting me. Charlie talks about the inflatable sheep that he boughtoff of eBay that took three months to arrive. Seriously? We all need aninflatable sheep to go with our inflatable pub that you can now purchase. Bella has me giggling with so many of thesesmall little giggles!I cannot wait to get my greedy little paws on thethird installment of this book. I have ravished this book in one sitting, andit is leaving me with insatiable hunger for more! Thank you so much for indulging me with this guiltylittle pleasure of a book!
Cliffhanger ending or what 😱! Love the unconventional and very human heroine. Light reading but with some serious undertones. Enjoyed part two of the book and can't wait for part three.
I was very excited to get to read the second part of this book, to find out how Regan, Charlie, Kevin, Elvis and the other characters were getting on, and I wasn't disappointed. It had me gripped, and I have to say the way the 2nd part ended has me completely hooked! I wasn't expecting that (I am not going to spoil it for others), and really need to read part three as soon as it comes out to find out how it continues...……………….
Regan's life is on the up, she may not have proper accomodation ,but she fins a job and decides which way her career will go next. Her romance with Charlie is not going well but she is living in hope . Hard to put down, just as enthralling as part 1.,really looking forward to part 3
I enjoyed this second part of the Meet Me At Pebble Beach serial. I am so fond of the characters after meeting them in the first story and learning more about them in this second part. Regan has a heart of gold and follows it. Charlie is a gem, trying to protect others even though he is not well. Kevin and Elvis (his dog) stole my heart almost from when they were first introduced.
The situations the author has created are both humorous and heartbreaking. I am totally invested in continuing the story. I absolutely need to find out the result of the cliffhanger! I am hopeful for a happy ending.
I want to thank NetGalley and AvonBooks UK for allowing me to read the advanced reader copy. My review is my opinion not influenced by receiving the ARC.
In this second part, we see Regan begin to explore the possibility of setting up her own business, which you have to admire her for. She is desperately hoping that her relationship with Charlie will to start to blossom although he seems to be distancing himself. And we end on a cliffhanger, will Kevin and Elvis be OK? Looking forward to part three now
