Overall, I think this story is  written well. I found the entry into the story and the complex storyline very good. The writing style was very good and pleasant to read. All shown characters whether main or supporting are authentic and interesting. Especially because they are all different and have been presented in a pleasant way. I also like the character development. I think the cover really suits the book and genre nicely. The narrated story is  coherent in itself and the suspense is constantly present, thereby and through the great, detailed language, the book remains captivating until the end.

A decent Mafia comic. A honeymooning American finds himself in a circle of trouble when forced to act as driver for the night for the capo di tutti capi, who's been forced to wriggle out of his hidey-hole for the last time ever. It's better for not pretending to know what the Cosa Nostra are up to, but convinces when dealing with the motives and working methods of one particular nasty human being. I was a little surprised to find this is only a two-book story, but there is much promise for the sole sequel on this basis – even when the ending here is a little lame. Some readers may well feel like marking it down for having absolutely no representation of female agency, mind.

A fun time in Italy with a mafioso on the run and a tourist that gets brought into it all by accident. Not bad, but nothing amazing.

A alright graphic novel but I felt that it was too dark at parts (especially at the start where there is a TV clip and the text of it is hard to read against the colours).
I didn't really develop any connection or empathy for the characters but the storyline is decent enough.
Nice illustrations but not the best I've seen in the genre.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this advance review copy.

Certainly elements of violence, but clear and pristine images. Recommended for readers of crime (and graphic novels).
