Rachel Blaufeld is back in her wheelhouse with an NA tale of life’s journey, star-crossed coincidences, and young love. Call it fate … serendipity … kismet … or whatever you like, but nothing stokes my heart better and faster than a love story of entertwined connections that usually can only be found in fiction where life is messy, answers are hard, but all things are possible. Wanderlove spoke to my youth and took a piece of my heart that I gladly give away to MCs Emerson and Price because, more than anything else, the fates smiled kindly on them.

This is an emotional and uplifting tale of two wandering souls who find love and also charmed me with wit and absorbing characters. A young woman who runs away from home and straight into the rest of her life. Impulsive, determined, and misguided, she fearlessly goes in search of the mother who abandoned her after birth. A farmer boy plucked from his happy, simple life against his will by a guilt-ridden, estranged father who make amends with money, instead of being a real presence in his life. Emerson and Price come from different backgrounds, different home-lives, different demons. She’s a cash-poor girl and he’s a reluctantly rich boy. Both land in the “Big Rotten Apple” of New York City. On an island of 8 million people, these two abandoned souls should never have met. When they do, it’s life-altering fate.

Emerson and Price were full of interesting contradictions, and yet wise beyond their years in searching for a slice of happiness while being true to themselves. There were so many potholes, detours, and overlapping intersections in their wandering journey in addition to the nagging pasts they left behind, but all roads converge to a place that was more inevitable than predictable. I loved their resilience as the heartwarming and emotional journey led to closure, acceptance and a new life all their own.

Side characters were equally crucial to the journey and play major roles for both characters with more of those cleverly intertwining intersections that go way beyond a girl who has never met her mother, and a boy who can’t forgive his estranged father. Some surprises made me smile, and the journey ended in the best way. The added boost of happy coincidence and fate, the angsty path to answers, and the enduring love that bonds the MCs as they discover the importance of home, family, friends, and soul mate love collectively warmed my heart.

4 1/2 "Fated" Stars!

I'm sitting here scratching my head and trying to figure out why I haven't read a Rachel Blaufeld book before now. I will most certainly be remedying that as soon as I have a chance. I really enjoyed her writing style and her backlog of books look great. I'm excited to have a new author to follow.

I was initially drawn to Wanderlove because of the stunning cover. Fortunately, the story contained inside was every bit as beautiful. I felt like it was a story of love that was meant to be. Emerson and Price both grew up without one of their parents. Emerson never knew her mother. After she graduates from high school, she leaves for New York City to see if she can find her. Price didn't know his father until recently when he showed up and wanted to fund his college education. They are both recently transplanted to NYC for different, yet somewhat similar reasons. Even though their specific stories are not the same, they both have a similar feeling of being abandoned. Likewise, when they meet, it doesn't take long before they know that the attraction they both feel is not only real, but it's something special.

Emerson and Price's journey to their HEA may have been a little bumpy, but it was one that definitely melted my heart just a little.

Thank you to NetGalley and Ms. Blaufeld for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

18 year old Emerson has decided to leave the comfort of her loving father’s home to go in search of her mother who abandoned her. This is where she meets Price. He’s been forced into living in New York City by his father.
These two meet, eventually fall in love, then get some news.

It was a pretty good book!
I kept forgetting how old she was though since she acted so immature on a few occasions. Annoyed me a bit but it was probably my fault for forgetting.

I do recommend this one!

Loved this story, but then again I usually enjoy anything Rachel writes.

Dialogue was great, characters were easy to be drawn to and the storyline kept me reading. It had everything that I like to have in a book to make it enjoyable for me. Definitely recommend!

Wanderlove kept me hooked from the first chapter. Emerson Bender is a girl on a mission. She leaves her small beach town and heads to NYC with one thing on her mind; finding her birth mom. The last thing she expected was to meet a handsome man with his own family drama - enter Price Barnes. Price Barnes can't stop thinking about Emerson after their first run in and decides to ask her out when he meets her again, a few days later. Rachel Blaufeld described a beautiful story about what happens when your love for someone is compromised by your family demons.

4 STARS/5 for this quick read!

Wanderlove is the eighth book I’ve read of Rachel Blaufeld’s (you could say I’m a fan ;) and it’s one of my favorites she’s written. I loved Emerson and Price’s story!

Emerson Bender is eighteen and in NYC alone. She’s there for one thing and one thing only, to find her mom. Being raised by a single dad wasn’t bad, her dad is amazing, but she needs the closure that only finding her birth mother will bring her. New York City is a big place, and she’s not sure where to start, but luck would have her finding some leads.

Price Barnes is a country boy who was uprooted by his estranged father to the city for college. It’s not where he wants to be, but it was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. When he meets Emerson, it’s kismet. There really is no such thing as coincidences and these two meet and quickly start to fall for one another.

This was a bit of insta-love, but I didn’t even care. The romance between Emerson and Price was fast, but it was believable. I loved watching them fall in love, the growth they both had through the story, and the connection they shared. I felt like they had more in common then they even knew and it progressed their relationship that much faster.

Wanderlove was really sweet, but it also had it’s fair share of stressful and angsty moments. There were a few twists and turns I caught on to, and some that kept me guessing. This story focuses a lot on family. What makes a family, what’s important in love and life, and sometimes, you only need to find yourself to be complete.

Emerson is a character that had some growing up to do, and through the book, she did just that. I appreciated watching her change and grow as the story continued. Price was fantastic. My favorite character of the book (Emerson’s dad was a close second). I truly did love them together and the ending of this one was so perfect!

I enjoyed reading this one lots. The cover is absolutely stunning, the writing is great, and the story is sweet, angsty, and full of emotion. I recommend this for anyone looking for a good coming of age story/new adult read!

If you’d asked me when I started reading this book, I would’ve said that there was no way I’d be able to tolerate our heroine for long. But as the story progresses, Emerson grows and matures. She also finds her perfect match in Price; he is what makes this book what it is. Price is absolutely a great guy, and I liked him more and more as we got to know him better.

The story follows Emerson, an 18-year-old in her summer between high school and college. Raised by a single father, she’s never known her mother. When they get into an argument over a guy, she decides to set out on her own on a journey to find her mother. The search leads her to New York City, where she meets Price. A 23-year-old, Price was raised in the country and now finds himself in the city because his wealthy father came into his life after being absent for as long as he can remember. They’re both at a turning point in their lives, and they find comfort in each other. When everything else seems up in the air, the only constant they have is the connection they feel for each other.

I really enjoyed the author’s writing style, and that’s probably what got me to stay past the first part of the book. Emerson is a little bratty, a lot selfish and I didn’t love that she started things up with Price before her ex was entirely out of the picture. The combination left a bad taste in my mouth for sure. That being said, Price is great. He has a few years on Emerson and that experience shows. It’s a mostly light book with some angst, plenty of character development and a touch of heat. If I had liked Emerson more as a person, my enjoyment of the book would’ve vastly increased but the story is solid and the writing itself is great. I received an ARC via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review of this New Adult romance.

I loved Wanderlove so much. This book gives you feels that you didn't know where missing. Shows you how fate can work. I love how two souls come together and just click like Price and Emerson. Both have so much in common when it comes to parents. You are going to love watching the relationship between Emerson and Price grow so much. Emerson is searching for her mom and along the way you watch her grow so much and develop these fated relationships. I love how strong Emerson becomes along the way. Then there is Price, he is swoon-worthy for sure. I love how he stands up for himself when the needed. I love how loving and caring he is of Emerson through everything. He is a steadfast amazing guy that you can't help but to love. Emerson and Price have this beautiful journey that you need to experience.

I LOVEE this cover!
My first read by Rachel Blaufield and I look forward to reading more!
Emerson Bender has grown up with just her Dad. After turning 18 she goes on the hunt for her mother from the ocean side to New York, But what she stumbles upon isn’t all that great. Will she get her answers? Will Emerson find more than she thought she find?
With a lucky find, Emerson is so close to finding out information , But she also bumps into Price Barnes just a country boy that is going to college in New York.
These two were the perfect pairing! Both Emerson and Price are searching for things, as they get closer they find they are more connected than they thought. I really enjoyed this story of love, forgiveness, letting go, and self-discovery.
If you are looking for a book filled with angst and all the feels, then Wander Love is the book for you. I recommend it!

This was a sweet, angsty, NA romance. To me, this book was good but not great. The writing was a jumbled and a little rambling at times and the heroine, Emerson, came off a bit too bratty and immature at times. That being said, I feel that the character growth was well written and realistic and came at a natural pace. Emerson, and the hero, Price, were well matched and I enjoyed their connection. There's a twist that you see coming and yet don't at the same time, giving the book an added bit of angst and that brings our characters full circle. Even with the angst this is a quick and easy read and though it didn't hit my high notes, I am sure it is one that many will love.

5 Stars / 2 Steam Fans

This is such a special book and I was drawn in for each and every moment. Emerson is an Oceanside New Jersey girl that has grown up not knowing what happened with her mom or why she was left her on the steps with her father. The first chance she gets Emerson travels the short trip to New York City to find her mother or at least search for some answers. While she is there she meets Price who is also an implant to New York City from farm country Pennsylvania complements of his father. Both Emerson and Price are searching for things, as they get closer they find they are more connected than they thought. I really enjoyed this story of love, forgiveness, letting go, and self-discovery.

I am a big fan of Blaufeld's writing and angsty stories. However, I am more partial to her more contemporary romance books. For some reason, her YA/NA aren't necessarily my favorite. I admit, I'm not partial to YA/NA in general. Sometimes I get into them, sometimes I don't.

I am hanging out in the middle on this one. It's not my favorite, but I didn't dislike it either. This is one of those books that I know many will love it. Then there will be that small handful, like me, just hanging over to the side wishing they had loved it.

As always, Blaufeld gives her readers all of the angst in this book. The push and pull of these characters will definitely give you all of the angsty feels. For me, I just wasn't feeling the characters themselves. I can't really put my feelings into words. I just wasn't jiving these two for some reason.

If you're looking for a book with angst, some tugging at your heart, and younger characters trying to find themselves, this is the book for you.

It is no secret I love this author’s books!! I have been a fan since Verite and devoured every other book. This book is going back in a way. Back to the young adult, back to angst that comes with that age. And I loved it! Emerson is at the age where she wants to break free, find out answers to some hard questions she has. Price is a fish out of water so to speak. Taken from the small town farm life he has known to be thrust into college and money. These two characters are perfect for each other, how they support each other and love each other. But it wouldn’t be a Rachel Blaufeld book without a twist. And what a twist it is. I hope you pick up this book! No one writes this style better than her.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

This book y’all!! So much good in these pages. You just need to read it!! Amazing story told in a wonderful way that leaves you wanting more.

This story was a nice slow burn romance....the only issue I had was feeling like there was no climax, and the let down regarding her search. It really felt like neither Price or Emerson really got resolution on heir mutual issues, and similar exes. With all this drama in the background I really wanted to get some angst somewhere and never got any.....It was a meh for me.
