Love these recipes! I try to stick to keto for dinners in my household but it started feeling dull since I kept making the same recipes. This has brightened up meals and my family is thankful!
I wasn't used to measuring in ounces, but it was easy to convert measurements.
I highly recommend this recipe book!!
I’m interested in eating a keto type diet so I thought this would be neat to check out. I’m kind of a picky eater but I’m definitely going to try some of the chicken casserole recipes. Those were the ones that appealed to me the most.
This is a good guide to recipes that give us food for thought!
It also gives us help and good examples for us to adapt our own.
55 recipes, most I would never make. Thought it would be interesting to look and see how I can adapt or use them in day to day meal making. Always trying to cut back on carbs.
I would have like a little info on Keto itself as this is touted as a Keto cookbook.
What was nice about the recipes is that most took less than 30 minutes to cook.
I was given an advanced reader’s e-book copy from Netgalley.
Great low carb recipes and pictures for each which always makes for a good cookbook! There is also a nice variety of choices using minimal ingredients
I have been following the keto diet for 4 months now. I reserved judgement until I tried a few. They are delicious! People just think "diet" and get scared. Keto is a simple, easy diet especially with easy to make recipes like these.
Amazing Keto Casseroles is great book if you are just starting out on Keto, need help with easy recipes, or don't enjoy cooking, but are following the Keto diet. The recipes in this cookbook are easy to follow, have usually 5 ingredients or fewer, with limited steps to follow. I really appreciate that each recipe has a photo and the nutrient information. Simple, easy, Keto.

I've been looking at following a keto diet for a while now, so was very interested when this came available. This book contains 55 recipes, and whilst they are called casseroles, here in the UK, they might be known more as 'savoury tray bakes' as most recipes only take 30 mins to cook in the oven. Many of the recipes also use a lot of ground beef (mince to us Brits), so again makes it much quicker to cook.
Each recipe comes with a colour photograph, nutritional values, an ingredients list and steps to follow. Whilst it has both imperial and metric measurements, it does not include the Gas Mark for the oven.
These recipes are so simple that generally there are no more than 4 steps and one of those is to put the oven on. It is generally chop and mix the ingredients then bake.
Even though it doesn't explain any of the keto basics, for someone new to keto it could be a good place to start as the recipes are so simple to follow . With each recipe it includes the calories, protein, fat and the carbs. Each recipe is for one person, but it would be easy enough to scale up for the family too.
I enjoyed the book and look forward to trying some of the recipes.
I received this book from Netgalley in return for a honest review.
If you are looking for a quick, easy, limited ingredient recipes then this is the perfect book for you.
The pictures are not glamourized and usually a bonus to a recipe book for me but in all honesty, I didn't see something that screams you need to make this. Again, it can be a plus for those who like to see what they are making as it will look when you make it.
Cookbooks for me help me expand my culinary creativity beyond my everyday meals. This cookbook is for someone looking easy prep, easy ingredients and making quick meals, and for that I'd have to say it accomplished all those points perfectly.
I received this ARC copy of Amazing Keto Casseroles from BooksGoSocial. This is my honest and voluntary review.
I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley and BooksGoSocial in exchange for an honest review. There are some interesting recipes in this book, but as someone who has been on the keto diet before, I was left with questions. The book does not say how many servings are in each recipe or what size casserole to use. Based on the amounts of each ingredient, I’m guessing most of them are single sized servings but the pictures show what appear to be huge casseroles. The pictures could be better as well. Cookbooks need vibrant, appetizing pictures.
Some great recipes especially if you like chicken! Keto is the new buzz word for dieting - the ingredient quantity are in American but its easy to change to UK
I've been doing low carb high protein diet for a while (i just can't sourse most of my calories from fat, my cholesterol doesn't like it). Got this book figuring i'll change a recipe here and there to fit my needs. No need though, they're perfect! They're high in protein, low in carbs and moderate in fat. I'd say it's probably not true keto but it's exactly what i've been looking for. Simple ingredients, nothing fancy, everything looks amazing. The recipes are for one which is perfect for me but you can always double or triple the recipe of you want a larger portion. Nutritional value is all clearly laid out. Overall an awesome book.
Lots of ideas on casseroles that you can eat any time of the day! I like the simple format of the book, and the simple ingredients that you can easily get and the easy instructions with no fancy equipment. My kind of cookbook for sure!
I can't comment on the macros...I'm on a .low carb diet for therapeutic reasons and the ingredients listed are safe for me. Carb count seems pretty good for each dish - something that I really appreciate in a low carb cookbook (you'll be surprised how high carb some of the s0-called low carb keto cookbooks are! I can't wait to get to the kitchen and try out as many dishes as I can. Many of them can be one-dish meals. Time-saving and less washing to do!
You'll have to figure out how much salt, pepper and other spices to put as no specific amounts are given. That shouldn't be difficult but if you are a beginner, start by putting less and adding as needed. As most chefs say you can add the salt but you cant take it out!
Many of the dishes include cheese (a piece of info for those of you who prefer to be dairy-free.)
Thank you Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for this ARC. This is my honest review in exchange.
There were not a lot of recipes in this book. It was also not well varied. I felt like there was a lot of repetition and when you are already restricting your diet so much it is important to have variety. I have tried a couple of recipes out of here that I thought sounded good and they did taste good, I would have just liked to see more variety and more recipes. Keto casseroles would be an excellent addition to my freezer meal routine!
This book has a lot of quick and easy to follow recipes, which is wonderful! My only disappointment is they have tomatoes in almost all of the recipes and I am allergic to nightshades. Otherwise is a great book!
Didn't really like any of the recipes in the book. I felt like they were pretty simple. I was just looking for something more. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review your book.
A delightful cook book,. The recipes are clearly explained, the ingredients are easily found. Every dish is illustrated. We have tried several,of the recipes and all were delicious
Do you want recipes for keto casseroles that use fresh ingredients and only take minutes to prepare and cook?
This is the book for you - buy a block or package of cheese, tomatoes, tomato sauce, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, sour cream, butter, and chicken breasts, drumsticks, ground turkey, pork and hamburger, and you can make and freeze enough food for a month.
The Chicken With Brussels Sprouts and Bacon recipe looks delicious and sounds like a winning sweet and sour combination!
I didn't glean a lot from this title. "sour" in a recipe title is not a positive term in cooking for me. The recipes were very basic with very little seasoning, there wasn't anything new or terrible exciting for me.
While it's a pretty basic cookbook (in recipes, layout, and photos, it's helpful for a novice keto person like myself (I'm still on the fence but willing to try it). The ingredients are easy to pick up at the local grocery store and I'm looking forward to trying a few recipes.
