Intriguing couple of pages. Would like to read more given the chance. Thanks for the peek of what looks like the making of a good thriller just my type of book.

Who is this woman? Where is she going and what is she doing? What are the secrets that she is keeping?

I can't wait to find out!

Not so much a sneak peek as a tiny sliver of anticipation. The focus of this extract is a woman. A woman in an elevated mood. Living a secret and clearly dangerous life. What she is doing we can guess at (I'm thinking drug dealing at this point). So this extract follows her as she gets ready to head to a meeting,point. Oswald’s writing conveys tension from the beginning and this builds as we wait to see what’s going to happen.

So yes, I’m in after this extract, not that there was ever going to be any doubt. Would,love to read the whole thing please?

A sneaky peek it said and thata exactly what it was taking all of sixty seconds to read.
Having said that it was sufficent to grab my interest.
Have read and thoroughly enjoyed all the James Oswald books in this seies and have no reason to beleive this will be any different.
Looking forwward to reading the full publication.

Well on the basis of this one page sample I can say I’d want to keep reading the rest of the book. I’ll look out for it in 2020.

I was so quick to click request when I saw a new James Oswald Inspector McLean book I didn’t notice that it was a sneak peak until I got the acceptance email. But, I thought never mind, I can at least read it quickly. Very quickly, it’s only a couple of pages.
But there is plenty of intrigue in these two pages and I can’t wait to see what will happen. Hope I don’t have to wait long. Just what is she up to?

What a gripping 2 pages , an opener that leaves you wanting more, having to wait for the remaining pages is going to be tough

This really is a small sneak peek and as such doesn't give much away. What I can say for sure is that it is written in the same great style as all this author's other works which are fantastic and I can highly recommend them. As for this story, the little bit we have been given sounds very intriguing and I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest!!

It's the first thing I read by this author but I found the style of writing excellent and this promise to be a gripping and thrilling book.
Unfortunately it was just a very short peak and I hope to be able to read the entire book soon.
