I was a goner when I started reading the All In series by Helena Hunting. An absolute goner and A Favor for a Favor did not change that. I loved Stevie and Bishop. The chemistry between the two was off the charts. It was hot as hell and the banter between the two. When in contact with the games these two places and the things these two would do and say had me in tears from laughing so much. I couldn't help but smile when it came to these two characters.

Bishop comes across as an a** in the beginning, but there was so much more to him than that. He was guarded and rightfully so but it didn't take Stevie to get past all that and see him for who he really was.

Joey (Stevie's ex) was a total dick and I wanted to throw something at his head so badly throughout the book. He deserved so much more than what he got.

I want to dive in deep with this but it needs to be experienced without spoilers of any kind. If you loved book one in this series, you will love this just as much. It's some of Helena Huntings' best work and I was completely hooked from the beginning.

Cannot recommend this enough! You won't be disappointed

What is it with men who are a-holes and broody that gets us going? Bishop is a poster-child for that type of man and I fell head over heels for him in this story.
I knew I liked Stevie since book 1 but she was so much more than RJ's little sister. She is feisty, sassy, loving but like every normal person she has her problems that make this story that more interesting. I loved Bishop and the way he gave her time to come around about how she feels about him. It was funny to read how clueless he was when he wanted nothing more but to be with her and show her that he sees who she really is.

Together they make ridiculously cute couple and I was over the moon when they finally got over her (theirs) problem to reach the HEA they deserved.

Now I’m so excited for book 3 – I’m not sure I’ll make it till May. I need it NOW :D

This is the first book I've read from this author though she's been on my radar for awhile. I really enjoyed Stevie and Bishop's story and read it in one sitting. Theirs is a slow burn that starts with more than a few misconceptions. It was comical watching the back and forth between them, Bishop is brusque and irritable and Stevie has a witty comeback and snark for days. Both are used as a shield to mask all that is going on internally for each of them. But the more time the spend together the inevitable happens, though they both try to fight it for reasons of their own. Their story is a slow burn, with plenty of innuendo and tension, should they or shouldn't they, it also has funny moments and supporting characters that I wouldn't mind seeing more of in the future.

What happens when you take a grouchy jerk of a hockey player and a down on her luck girl meet in the middle of the night? Nothing good haha. Poor Stevie Bowman is looking for a new start and Bishop Winslow is not making it easy. The banter and humor made this an enjoyable read. If you loved the first book in this series you will enjoy this one as well.

I will honestly read anything Helena writes, related to hockey. The characters are explored and developed. I love this spin off series.

I normally love her books but I couldn’t get into this one. She is one of my favorite authors so I may try again in the future.

As a longtime fan of Hunting's work, I know she will not disappoint, and in the case of A Favor for a Favor she certainly did not!

With humor and tenderness along with a resiliency on the parts of both loveable characters, Bishop and Stevie, I could not get enough of this story.

Between the secret game of peekaboo with the morning newspaper routine and their endless teasing one another while trying to keep their relationship strictly professional, it was hard to not fall for this couple along the way. Sprinkle in a few of our beloved Pucked characters and you have another hockey romance sure to steal your heart.

As Always, Happy Reading!

Helena Hunting can do no wrong ever. This series is so good and this book was everything. This is just a fun and light hearted and everything that a rom com needs. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I have read three of the shacking up series and loved them so thought this would be similar. I felt this was a NA sports romance that was slow burn and I could not relate to either of the characters.. I tried and made it to a bit beyond page fifty, skimmed a bit and read the end but did not want to invest more time on this story. I believe that if there is another Shacking up book I will give it a try but will avoid the sports/YA themed books. Thank you for allowing me an ARC to read...sorry it was not for me. (DNF)

Oh my goodness! I enjoyed Bishop & Stevie's story as much as, if not more than, Rook and Lanie's! I love Bishop's awkwardness (read: asshole-ness) and Stevie's sass. I love their underwear wars and their tender moments. And I adore their emotional growth. Such a good read/listen! (Andi Arndt & Jacob Morgan ROCK!)

This is the second book in the series. I have to say Helena didn’t disappoint. The characters were just as entertaining and fast-paced funny as in book one. You get to catch up with some of the characters from the last book which is nice.
Like Violet, she is still as off the cuff as ever. That’s what makes her Violet. This book, however, has to do with Rook’s sister Stevie who we meet in the first book which was centered around her big brother RJ and his now-wife, Laney.
Stevie has now gotten her master's in physiotherapy with a specialization in sports rehab. Top in her class which landed her the primo job right in the same town, Seattle as RJ and his family. She even got her ex a job there. Yup! Her ex. She now has to work with the sleazeball.
You see she has been steel in California and arrived at their new place in Seattle two days early. Joey was on the new sofa RJ bought them boinking someone other than her. On Stevie’s birthday no less. Needless to say, she calls RJ who gave her the penthouse he had per his contract for a year which sat empty. They had bought a house.
By the time she gets there, it is midnight. The one piece of luggage she did get was thrashed so getting it to the door is not easy or quiet. Not to mention the key code is not working. When from behind her a booming voice comes “What the hell’s going on?”
She explains but Bishop, Mr. Joyful Boxer Man is more annoyed. This could be intimidating if she wasn’t so tired, overwhelmed, and now also annoyed. Then, Mr. Joyful starts insulting her but she’s so tired she is missing it. Because at the moment she’s working on embarrassment.
But when she does, she can give as good as she gets. So, they part with insults flying. As things are tense for sure they are also, days that are followed with underwear shows that become sexually charged. Very funny.
See how to single, fearful, grumpy people can turn their lonely lives into HEA.

Helena Hunting cannot write a bad book, I'm 100% convinced, If swoon worthy romance with a sprinkle and a dash of laughter, this one is for you. Hunting has such a great talent for writing tear-jerking, humorous, sexy, and warm moments into all of her books. I could re-read this book for ages. *Chef's kiss*!!

Stevie and Bishop.  The banter between these two was off the charts hysterical!!

What a riot together! When Stevie comes home to find her boyfriend in a compromising position with someone who is not her, she turns to her brother Rook who let's her stay in his penthouse.  Yes, Rook from book 1 and the famous pro hockey player.

Steve's first encounter with her new neighbor does not go well at all! But it's frigging hysterical!!! She is a mess after catching her boyfriend cheating, and Bishop is an irritable bastard who she woke up stumbling around in the hallway and trying to get into the penthouse.  He was downright mean to her and made some assumptions about Rook which were obviously untrue.  He eventually finds out Stevie is Rook's sister.  And he is on Rook's team....ut oh!!

I loved this book!!!  After getting hurt on the ice, Bishop is surprised when Stevie offers to help with his rehab.  Seriously, I could have read about these two and their shenanigans all day long!

Special shout out to Bishop's underwear!  Haha!  Yep, you heard me.....he had this ridiculous collection of underwear with different sayings that were so typical of his personality - funny!

There's a lot more to the book and I highly recommend it.  Great book, continuing the series!

I thought I wrote a review for this one, awhile back when I read it. Eh, guess not. Maybe because I didn't enjoy it. I don't know what it is about series lately but man, they can't keep my attention for very long. Disappointed that A Favor for a Favor became another in a very long line of DNF for me, lately. Maybe it is me, I just know the cookie cutter romances aren't jiving. The lack of miscommunication and understanding just about killed me.

What is there to say besides Helena Hunting knows how to write hockey romances and she’s absolutely brilliant at it. I first fell in love with her Pucked series and could hardly stand waiting for this new series when it was announced. If you want hockey heavy and hot hot hot hockey players with strong and hilarious female heroines then you have to pick up Helena Hinting!

A Favor for a Favor by Helena Hunting is a light, fast-paced and hilarious slow-burn romance. I felt as if the author got the plot idea, sat in front of her computer and wrote the story at one go. I simply adore Bishop and Stevie's story. Both, they were unique, had original traits and I instantly fall in love with them.

„I want to be the olive to your pineapple.”

I devoured Stevie and Bishop's story. Stevie, freshly single and fed up with living in her brother’s shadow wants to achieve everything on her own. Have real friends, success at her job and gain recommendation. Which is why she agrees to help Bishop with his injury. Bishop, behind his grumpy and snarky shield, hides a very sensitive and caring personality. He hates to be judged and not taking seriously. Being injured really messes with his career plans and additional physical therapy with Stevie is exactly what he needs.

Both, they did not realize that innocent favors would lead to something more, involving their hearts, families, and careers. Are Bishop and Stevie ready to take a risk and jump on the wild side?

A Favor for a Favor is a next winner for me. I love mature and independent heroes who are not afraid to admit their mistakes and feelings. Bishop and Stevie's story is a great example of why we shouldn’t judge the people after one action, photo or behavior. Which is why I wanted to slap RJ once or twice.

I really recommend Bishop and Stevie's story. We have a new book boyfriend and I am really curious about the next books in All In series!
