Mills and Boon can do no wrong with their Christmas romances, they always hit the spot for me. I was looking forward to be reading this one and it did not dissapoint.

I adore this author and this book was a brilliant read and one that is perfect to escape for a few hours and loose yourself.
Characters that fall out of the pages of the book and make you fell apart of the story, the setting comes alive and captured is well with words.
A great read. that I would highly recommend.

Christmas Baby For the Billionaire is written by Donna Alward and published by Mills & Boon True Love. Tori Sharpe is the resort manager at Sandpiper Springs Hotel Nova Scotia. Jeremy Fisher is a billionaire from New York. They met and had a two week fling at the resort four months ago and now Tori is pregnant. Jeremy finds out when he revisits the resort whilst house hunting for a client. Tori is determined to raise the child by here self whilst Jeremy has to overcome his childhood problems if he is going to become the father that he wants to be. They spend the week together to see if they can build a relationship for their child. Can a Christmas in New York help them overcome the obstacles to their HEA?
A gentle, traditional romance. No mind blowing moments of clarity, just a well written novel.

Tori is pregnant following a summer fling. Jeremy is the father bit he doesn't know until he comes back to the hotel where Tori works and sees her

Tori could and did cope perfectly fine with her life and with her pregnancy, she doesn't want anything from Jeremy but for him to decide if he wants to be part of their child's life or not.

Jeremy is from New York, super rich and is so used to people wanting to be a part of his world because of the money that he has walls built about himself when he was a child but strengthened with age to protect himself from the hurt in the world

Tori on the other hand is a small town girl from Nova Scotia in Canada (I had to google it to check it definitely was Canada as the Proclaimers song, Letter from America was stuck in my head and that mentioned Nova Scotia!) who is more interested in people than things, her family may not have had a lot of money but they had a lot of love and this is what Tori wants to pass on to her baby.

I most identified with Tori in this book, it felt like we had similar experiences of family, where love is the most important thing and "stuff" is just a bonus but not the be all. This really came across on the book and was such a motivator to Tori that it had me routing for her and feeling that she must get what she wants and not to accept less for herself and the baby.

The writing style, whilst lighthearted, does make an impact on the reader and introduces tough topics that may otherwise have been quite hard to have in the story. This really helped my enjoyment of the story and pulled me in, although I think Tori was still my favourite!

I would recommend this book to those who enjoy stories when the characters must overcome differences, social and financial, but who also enjoy a strong heroine

After a Summer Fling leaves Tori pregnant she resolves to raise her baby alone but when her Summer Fling walks back into her life and finds her pregnant he sets out to prove to her that he could be a great dad to their child. Whilst rich Jeremy had a difficult childhood and isn't sure he can overcome his demons and be the father he desires to be. Tori isn't sure she can trust Jeremy so they decide to have a week together and see if they can work through their issues and create their own happy ever after.

A heartwarming romance of second chances and discovering the magic of Christmas.
Hotel manager Tori and property buyer Jeremy had a summer fling; returning to Nova Scotia four months later, he is surprised to find Tori pregnant, and the two have to navigate through various issues and work out how the future will look for them once the baby arrives.
The festive scenes in both Nova Scotia and New York are good, and you do root for Tori and Jeremy to find a compromise to their relationship as they try out each others world for size, and, the scenes with Jeremy's family do go a long way to explaining his issues with commitment, but at times you really do want him to get over his issues with his family and find his own path with Tori. On the other hand, Tori's relationship with her mother provides a strong contrast, and the scene where Jeremy finally meets Tori's mother is one of the strongest scenes in the book.
Jeremy's friends Cole and Bran make several appearances, and seem like they could have interesting stories of their own in future books by the author.
A nice, easy going read for the Christmas season with a romantic ending.

A nice festive billionaire romance, however not one of the best I’ve read, not very subtle at times and the chemistry isn’t as good as I’d like. It was enjoyable and nice at points, but not one of my favourite Mills & Boon reads.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

2.5 - "They had to work to get their happily ever after…" Stars.

Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it and will likely not remember it next week. Your standard rich man, less than rich woman, fare which while enjoyable enough lacked any real spark, I found the constant reference to the cost of things in a billionaire’s world to be a tad crass, and both of them on the immature side in general.

Donna is an author I have read and enjoyed in the past, but I find her Hqn/M&B offerings lack any real depth or development of character, and because they are usually of the closed-door variety, the chemistry isn’t there to pull me in to the couple’s story either.

A coming together romance, that is a supposedly short, lived moments of time, sharing and caring.

Happy times, great memories, bringing the reality of the pitter patter of tiny feet.

A reconnection. brings this news into the open and the relationship has to find a new understanding, to move forward into the future. To find true love, happiness and contentment.

With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story.

Donna Alward brings her reader a second chance romance in the first in her South Shore Billionaires series delivering exactly what the title suggests between a couple whose whirlwind summer fling isn’t going to be forgotten.

“We live in different countries and are from different worlds. And we’re having a kid together.”

With a warm-hearted, patient heroine and a hero who doesn’t believe he knows how to love or be a dad, Jeremy and Tori are a couple getting to know one another flaws and all. Granted it is fairly middle-of-the-road and there were a couple of elements that I wasn’t overly enamoured with, but it was an easygoing, sweet and festive romantic read and Donna Alward has done enough to tempt me into reading Bran’s book when it’s released in January.
