Cynthia Eden is one of the first authors I read in the paranormal genre, and the only one I still read. She’s got a way of writing her characters that makes her books unable to put down. This latest is about Harrison, a monster hunter, and Elise, fairy queen. Of course it’s a perfect match. Hot and steamy, definitely get this book.

Cynthia Eden always delivers. Her paranormal romances are unique and well crafted with interesting characters. Slay All Day is no exception. If you love sassy females and rough around the edges male characters...your in for a treat.

Cynthia Eden never fails to delight with her paranormal romance. Slay All Day was well-written and just as good as the last book she wrote.

5 "Beauty and her beast" stars!! There is so much to love about this story and I can't wait for you to discover it all. From the banter between the characters, the amazing world building, all of the action, the intense doses of romance, and the incredible chemistry the characters shared, it was way too easy to fall in love with this book. Elise was a mystery from the beginning. I knew she wasn't human, but I couldn't figure out her true motives or her reasons for being on Earth. What I did know was that I loved her and all her badassery!

~"I am a fey princess. I am a blood-born fey. I am a freaking prize, you get me? Men fall at my feet. They kill for my smiles and my favor. Sex with me is mind blowing. I am amazing, I am powerful, and I am not some random thing for you to disparage."~

Harrison was raised as a hunter and was now the best hunter out there. He had super human vision, hearing, strength and healing. He took down monsters and he loved doing it. However, he was so much more than he seemed and Elise was determined to awaken his beast. The love that developed between them along the way was both unexpected and profound.

~What woman wouldn't like for a man to kiss her as if she was the most important thing in his world? To kiss her with a consuming lust? With demanding need? With sweet, sweet possession?~

Slay All Day is a perfect blend of suspense, mayhem, magic, and love and an easy recommendation to make for fantasy and paranormal romance lovers everywhere!

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Wpw, I had to keep reading as I kept wondering what Elise had been before being stripped of her powers. You kind of get a hint when she says she isn't used to walking to I wondered if she didn't use her legs to walk she could be a couple of things!

I loved that Elise was a work in progress and she knows that she is selfish and also thinks of herself as more evil than good but as the book progresses, you see that she is surprising herself with new choices. I was so glad when she quit trying to use Harrison and really found that he meant more to her than being her pet.

Harrison after the first meeting, just kept taking care of Elise and was never swayed to believe that she was a monster even when he saw she was not human. It was also fun to keep trying to figure out what was hidden inside of Harrison, with the hint of flames, I guessed phoenix.

Poor Harrison kept getting burned by his fellow hunters, and you start to wonder if he can trust any of them. There are a few secrets that come to light and you find a few twists to the story that I was not expecting! With all the action and drama, it was hard to put the book down. Great HEA and I loved the part about the crown!!

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review. I have read a ton of Cynthia Eden’s books, both her paranormal and thriller/romance series, and have yet to be disappointed. This book is no exception. Kept me hooked from the start and pulled me right in.

Now I don’t want to spoil anything so I’m going to keep it fairly high level. This book follows Elise, a supernatural being currently cursed, and Harrison, a hunter with a secret even he isn’t aware of. When Elise is cursed she seeks out Harrison for his protection and help. He refuses at first but is inexorably drawn to her. He eventually gives in once he realizes how many supernaturals are trying to kill her. But Elise has an ulterior motive and that is to wake the secret Harrison doesn’t even know he has. But when Elise starts falling for him, she can’t go through with it. When Harrison finds out she’s been using him, he’ll have to figure out truth from lies and see if he can still trust. And can he trust in time to save the one being who claims to be evil but can’t seem to stop saving people?

A great read and very well written. Would definitely recommend especially if you like paranormal romance.

This was a hugely anticipated release on my part, not just because I love Cynthia Eden, but because it’s a Paranormal Romance! I think she writes the best Paranormals out there, and this book is no exception. In fact, it’s exceptional.

With a sassy and funny heroine, Ms. Eden takes a dark and gritty hero and lets him break his chains a bit. She doesn’t often write the sassy and fiesty heroines, but when she does, look out! She does them right!

Harrison is a hardened monster hunter. He’s spent his entire life being raised by his tough love dad. Attachments make you weak. Friends make you weak. You can’t ever have love since it makes you weak…you’re seeing the pattern at this point. But when he rescues a damsel in distress, his walls start cracking.

My favorite line was at the beginning when he first saw her:

“He had to save her. Blah, blah. He’d heard the story before. A million times. Just another night’s work for a hunter.”

Elise is more than just a damsel in distress. She is a human damsel in distress. At least she is now. Usually she’s something Other. (I won’t spoil it!)

Harrison doesn’t know what to think about her. She’s human, but she doesn’t act like a human. Not really. She’s really excited about mundane things, and says things like, “I think I need clothes. Everyone seems very concerned with clothes in this town.” As if it’s a weird quirk of the locals.

Elise needs Harrison’s help though. She’s in danger and at the moment she’s human. But with every Other coming after her, she’s worried she won’t see the next full moon.

I loved this. The story was fresh, the characters were new, the world was intriguing. The personalities were so different from this author’s normal vibe, and I loved it. I loved every bit of it. I really hope we see more PNR from Ms. Eden.

***I bought this book

This is a fast fun read where the characters really draw you in I laughed out loud quite a few times with the things they said and did

Harrison Key is a hunter he kills anything supernatural that he comes across in an effort to keep humanity safe He is fast and agile is there a reason he is like this that he doesn't know He comes to the rescue of a woman been attacked by vampires and he rushed to save her What he doesn't know is that Elise Aine, is Queen of the Fairies and he is her mate and she has plans for him She intends that he should destroy all her supernatural enemies. Will he forgive her when he learns the truth and what stunning surprise will he learn about himself. Be prepared for a fun fast paced book that will keep you engaged until the last page

SLAY ALL DAY is a standalone spooky and erotic romance by Cynthia Eden. This story starts out with what seems to be a damsel in distress. Enter cocky paranormal hunter Harrison Key. At first glance, Harrison saves Elise Aine from being a vampire’s buffet. However, in the paranormal world, appearances can be very deceiving. At the start, I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy SLAY ALL DAY because I didn’t initially warm to the two main characters. As the story progressed, the story became more interesting and the characters revealed hidden depths.

Elise’s cover story is that miscellaneous paranormal baddies are after her because of some curse. That’s not entirely true. Over the course of this book readers, and Harrison, soon realize that Elise is a force to be reckoned with. Cynthia Eden writes some of the best trust/betrayal-themed romances, and SLAY ALL DAY is another great example. Elise doesn’t set out to use Harrison for dome nefarious purpose, but her brother has put her in a very difficult position, making her desperately need Harrison’s help. The air of danger, wild characters, epic battles, and a badass heroine are reminiscent of the KILL BILL films. As Elise and Harrison are caught in an erotic web of seduction, the intensity of their feelings for each other gradually increases. I love how fiercely protective these two characters are of each other. The source of the danger in SLAY ALL DAY comes in many forms – obvious as well as more subtle and secret ones.

SLAY ALL DAY is a sizzling love story with bad blood, bad brutes, and one badass heroine. As always, Cynthia Eden tells a thrilling supernatural story while balancing the thrills and action with the romance and character- development. A highlight, and highly amusing scene, in SLAY ALL DAY is when a rogue fae princess tells a bedtime story of female empowerment to a captive audience of one. I normally don’t enjoy books about the fey, but this author makes it work for me. I look forward to Cynthia Eden’s next romance – whether paranormal, romantic suspense, or a mix of both.

Harrison spends his nights hunting all things that go bump in the dark. Elise is on a mission to stay alive by any means necessary... even if it means working with one of the most dangerous Hunters known in their world. Can Elise stay alive long enough to reveal to Harrison secrets he didn't even know...that he didn't know? Read and find out!

I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book and just like the title it SLAYED ALL DAY!

I loved the main characters! Elise was funny and wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted...Harrison was strong and 100% man enough to handle everything that Elise had to dish out. Together Elise and Harrison were unstoppable. This book was great, I cant wait to see what comes next!

Slay All Day by Cynthia Eden is a way more fun read than a scary one. One hot, dangerous monster killer and what seems to be a woman in trouble starts this story rolling along never slowing down. Harrison is the classic tough guy. Elise Aine makes me think of a young Goldie Hawn type character. She appears to be hapless and clueless but has an inner strength that serves her well.

Well written so that the story continues to move along at a pace suitable for Harrison’s supper speed ability. It is quite the delight. This is the kind story perfect for a fall evening. Heavy on the romance with enough suspense as well as twists in the events to keep the bogeyman completely at bay.

Harrison is a hunter with lots of experience killing demons but he's never met anyone like Elise. She just shows up one day and tells him he's going to save her. Her attitude is so royal he calls her Princess which is very close to the truth. Elise comes across as human but there's something different about her. Harrison also appears to be human, but is he? I loved the dynamics between these two as they conquer their foes and find love. It's a hell of a good ride.

4 - "… If you need me, scream." Stars!

Another PNR winner from Cynthia Eden, and perfectly timed for release just before Halloween. If you like monsters and shadows, and things that go bump in the night then Harrison and Elise’s story will be right up your street.

"I can’t even leave you alone for five minutes before you find trouble…"

Full of action adventure, thrills, fights, spills and explosions, as well as the usual suspense of now knowing what’s going to happen next, who is the real villain, or how everything will work out, Slay All Day is Eden giving her readers exactly what she knows they love to read.

"It’s hot when you get all protective…"

“Holy hellfire!” This was one seriously amazing read! With so many twists and turns, lots of secrets, some intrigue, and plenty of scorching hot moments, I was captivated from the first page and could not put this one down.

I absolutely loved Elise! She was feisty and cute, kinda clumsy that added to her charm, and while she believes herself to have a dark soul, she proves to have anything but. Being in her mind when she found herself making the right decisions was often a laugh out loud moment. A lot of what she did or thought was cause for laughter. She was just too freaking perfect and definitely a top favorite heroine of all time for me.

’She wasn’t exactly some terrified damsel and that made her even sexier to him.’

Like all of this author’s heroes, Harrison was perfection as well. He checked every one of my boxes for what I hunger for in a hero. Most of all he has the “mine” mentality, even when he doesn’t understand where the heck it’s coming from. His protective instincts are off the charts and even when he should be questioning what’s happening around him more, his first action is to insure Elise’s safety.

’Mine.
The whisper came from deep inside. That deep, dark place inside that he tried to ignore. A place of savagery and darkness.’

Things between Elise and Harrison begin and continue on a fast track, but no over the top behavior here. Just pure deliciousness! While Elise has a plan and Harrison can’t stay away, together they are soon caught up in a crazy ride that will pull you along at warp speed. And with all the madness surrounding them, there is the intense chemistry that continues to grow. There are some seriously scorching moments between these characters that will require readers to keep a cool drink and a fan close by.

This has so many surprises with twists and turns that will have you turning the pages as fast as you can. Sure, some of them you are aware of, but only because you’re given the clues to lead you in the right direction. But rest assured, there are so many delicious “oh my gawd” moments, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m so freaking excited about this wild world Ms. Eden has created and I’m crossing my fingers and will even use bribery if necessary, to get more! If you’ve never read this author before, this is the book to start with. If you’ve previously read her work, then you already know that you’re in for one heck of an experience that will leave you happy and sated when you finish the last page.

Elise Aine has been cursed. She’s lost all her powers she needs a hunter to keep her safe but she’s hiding a huge secret. Harrison Key is a monster hunter born and bred. He doesn’t have time to be a body guard. He is drawn to Elise and he is much more than just a hunter. So much betrayal on all sides to overcome.Another great paranormal romance just in time for Halloween. As always lots of witty interaction and humor, sexy alpha male with some crazy twists. Lots of action and sex scenes hot enough to melt your Kindle. Overall another great read.
