Holy hotness - it's been a while where I've read a book about a couple who had chemistry that was leaping right off the pages as Remi and Mason had in this book.

I was captivated from the beginning and it didn't not disappoint. The banter was funny, chemistry of the charts and the build-up to their HEA was absolutely perfect. The ONLY problem I had was that I wanted a bit of a better explanation as to why the bad guy did what he did. But other than that it was a great read.

So like all other Melissa Foster books you can't go wrong with this book. Every book she writes you fall in love with all the people in it and this book is no different. Remi and Mason are perfect for each other. They bring out the best in each other. You will laugh, cry and have big smiles on your face while fanning yourself reading this book. As always you can pick up any book by Melissa and jump right in but be warned you will want to pick up another book by her right after because these are so good.

The second book in this new series I found to far more entertaining than the first one. In this one Remi, an actress is being stalked and after she ditched her last bodyguards her brother hires just one. Mason does only this to protect people. So, protecting Remi will not be a problem. For the most part, it is not one. Everything changes with a kiss and then behind the doors they are now a couple.
A couple is good that is until her brother finds out or is told. Waiting for his business meeting to end overseas Remi decides to wait. She also wants him to start treating her like the grown woman she is and not the little girl he pulled out of the wrecked many years ago. A wonderful story with many different characters, great places, and a wonderful story. A good book,

Remi is tired of bodyguards following her everywhere she goes, treating her like a job instead of a person. Her brother has gone a little overboard with the protection he’s hired for her. So when her brother decides to listen to her for once, he hires one bodyguard, who will be plainclothed and won’t stick out like a sore thumb. Except the guy he hired is the one hottie she noticed earlier at a gala and he actually had her yearning to be closer to him instead of running the opposite direction or ditching him.

Mason has to remember that his number one job is to keep Remi safe. But the chemistry between the two of them grows deeper each hour he’s in her presence. They both know that the line shouldn’t be crossed but they just can’t help this pull between the two of them.

As always Melissa gives you characters that you fall for from page one and don’t want to let go of once you read the last page. Remi and Mason were the perfect mix of sassy, sweet and sexy!

Well now, this was fun.

This time we have Remi and Mason; she’s a superstar in real need of protection after a stalker causes her brother to FREAK OUT, lol; and Mason is said protection. ;-)

From the start we see the sparks are flying between them; but he’s doing his job and she feels she doesn’t need a bodyguard. This causes them to butt heads on more than one occasion (which was real fun to read), but surely but slowly they realize there’s more to them than mega star and bodyguard, and they have more in common than expected.

I loved Remi and her fierceness and independent spirit, also her warm heart. And Mason had such a rough life, I wanted to hug him so hard.

These two were fun to read, there was a lot of fire between them and I loved seeing them fall in love and fight for it. It was also fun to see other characters in the series, it was fun to see them interact with Remi.

All in all, a fun, sweet and lovely read. A perfect addition to this series. <3

This Is Love is book 2 in the Harmony Pointe series. Before I begin I would like to say that this is only my second book by this author who has an extensive list of other books and series which I hope to read in the future. Now although I really enjoyed book 1 in this series I didn't like this one as much. While it had an older sexy bodyguard and a sweet young actress with a stalker overall it was really cheezy and boring. I also felt when all the friends and their significant others were all together it was a mess of POV. The stalker issue was resolved super quick and felt insignificant. Now while I didn't love this one I do plan to continue the series.

Remi Devine has a stalker and she is tired of bodyguards, especially ones who usher her from door to door and don't let her breathe. Finally her brother, Aiden, listens and hires just one bodyguard and what a bodyguard he is. Mason Swift was meant to protect others and his job is now to protect Remi. First impressions have him believing she is a diva but quickly learns she is anything but and is strong and just as protective of others. The chemistry between them is instant but takes a bit to strike. Together they learn to coexist while filming wraps and the stalker becomes aggressive. Great friends of Harmony Pointe keep this moving along as well and I cannot wait to see who Piper gets taken down by. Definitely a keeper and a recommendation from me. Not necessary to read the first one in the series to keep up with this one but that book was wonderful and shouldn't be missed.

This was a pleasant read. I liked the premise and was interested to see how the story would go. Mason is hired to be a bodyguard for Remi as she is not a fan of the ones she has currently. What started out as a semi push-and-pull for Mason and Remi lead into something so much more. They seemed to bring out the best in each other. Remi was able to be herself and Mason was able to come out of his shell. They were an adorable couple. It was also sweet to see the family atmosphere with the friendships and how Remi viewed her older brother Aiden. Besides the romance there was also a mystery going on. Seeing what will happen next with the romance and the mystery enthralled me. Overall a nice read with good characters, storyline, and writing.

Not my favourite!

This is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. I generally enjoy all books written by Ms. Foster, but I have to say, this one did not meet my very high expectations. It’s not that the book is bad in any way, but I felt it was perhaps too quickly pulled together. I felt some aspects of the story could have been developed further, while other parts were almost boiler plate and perhaps a bit too immature for my taste.

This is a good story, but not my favourite. All that said, I look forward to Piper’s story.

Remi Devine has a stalker. Her brother, Aiden, has hired bodyguards to keep her safe, which she is not happy about. Mason Swift is the owner of the security company and takes on Remi' s security on his own. They become good friends and more.

I enjoyed this story, but it took me a bit to really get into it. Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors, so I pushed through the beginning and it was worth it. A wonderful story filled with some of our favorite characters. Can be read as a standalone.

I was worried that Remi was going to start off as an unlikable character, but I'm happy to say she didn't. I loved her from the beginning because she was so sweet and kind. She had a stubborn streak and didn't know how protective her brother was, but it was all out of love. Mason and Remi fit from the beginning and his way of allowing her to spread her wings while still making her safe made me smile. Mason was exactly what she needed and he didn't realize it, but he needed her too. I absolutely adored this story and can't wait for more.

I love the Dalton family and their extended family so much! This author nails it every single time when she writes these small town, close family, lots of love series. If you like your male heroes sexy and sweet and the women who love them strong and brave, then look no further than Melissa's books. This is Remi and Mason's journey and what a journey it is -- lots of slow burn chemistry with a little mystery and intrigue added in. I loved revisiting all the Dalton clan! Another winner from this author -- can't wait to read Piper's story because I have a feeling it's going to be an incredible one! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

This exciting and suspenseful romance is a bit different from Melissa Foster’s usual happily-ever-after love stories, but it is so good! Actress Remi Divine is at her wit’s end with the bodyguards hired by her brother due to a stalker situation. Mason Swift steps in as Remi’s bodyguard when she keeps slipping away from his two best men assigned to the job. Although it is insta-lust for each of them, things start off a bit bumpy as Remi tries to get used to Mason’s rules and Mason must adjust to being so attracted to one of his clients. Things quickly heat up between them, but it’s so much more than that. Feelings keep getting stronger, but Mason still must deal with whoever is threatening Remi and keep her safe.

I loved this book and I’m embarrassed to admit the obscene number of tears I shed during the last 10% or so, so we won’t talk about that. But – and I hate to say this because I love Melissa Foster more than my beloved red wine – a good amount of this novel reminded me of The Bodyguard. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great movie and this book was so much better – but it all felt a little Whitney and Kevinish to me for a while.

However, as the novel progressed, I realized This is Love far surpasses The Bodyguard and in no time at all, I had completely forgotten about Whitney and Kevin (Rachel and Frank, whatever).

This novel is about absolute, no-holds-barred soulmates. People that were just waiting to find one another, yet never knew what exactly they were missing. The passion, connection, love, and chemistry between Remi and Mason is completely off the charts. They instantly feel like a couple when they’ve only just met, and I assure you that your heart will go wild as you read their story.

As always with Melissa Foster’s novels, I highly recommend This is Love. It’s a different type of story than what you are used to with Foster, but it will give you all the feels, leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy, and quite truthfully – make you think about the things that really matter in your life, such as love, friendship, and giving back.

"Their love wasn't just passionate. It was safe and empowering, mind-numbing and demanding. It was all-consuming and possessed a dreamy intimacy so luxurious, she wanted to crawl inside it and burrow down for the winter."

If you’ve never read a Melissa foster book, this is the perfect one to start with. I was excited for Remi’s story and was not disappointed. Remi and Mason are perfect for each other and brought out the best in each other. Just like other Melissa Foster books, there’s a great sense of family; born with and chosen. I was so caught up in the story I was always smiling.

I also laughed. The banter and camaraderie was amazing and just had me smiling from ear to ear. But I also cried. The message in this story will pull at your heartstrings, but above all, the message is about love and letting go and supporting each other and growing. I felt everything.

It also made my day that Mason has my birthday!

Now I hope we get Aiden’s story because he needs a little more love as well.

Another hit for Harmony Pointe!!

Confession (lol): I read this book twice! Once back in mid October and another time about a week ago. IT IS THAT GOOD . And I may have also re-read Call Her Mine back in October. *shrug* I LOVE THIS SERIES !!

I already knew from Call Her Mine that Remi was going to be FUN :) She did not disappoint! Mason was everything I’d hope he would be and then some! The chemistry between them sizzled thru the story from the very beginning and that just made my reading experience that much more enjoyable! As always, the plot unfolded beautifully and the bit of mystery we had concluded well.

You guys, these two were so damn perfect for each other. I loved who Remi and Mason were both together and apart! They we just perfect characters. I just can’t with this woman! Every frikkin book I pick up by her gets better and better *happy sigh*

This is LOVE (Harmony Pointe Book 2)
By: Melissa Foster

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

When money doesn’t by Happiness!

In another amazing book from Melissa Foster we are along for the love story of Remi and Mason. But boy does she take us on an amazing ride. The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Authors Blurb: Actress Remi Divine is sick of bodyguards, sick of stalkers, and sick of feeling like she is always underLIVR a microscope. But this movie star isn’t helpless by any means. She’s got a rebellious streak, and she knows how to use it. First order of business: getting rid of the overbearing bodyguards who are sticking to her like glue.
Mason Swift has made protecting others his life, and when Remi ditches his two best men, he takes over and gives it everything he has. Having grown up in the foster-care system, and as a former special operative, he knows all the tricks. Nothing gets by him, especially not gorgeous, sneaky Remi.

He thinks she’s a diva. She thinks he’s arrogant. But when sparks turn to flames and their walls come down, their true hearts are revealed, and their connection is unstoppable. And when tragedy strikes, Remi realizes that being protected isn’t the worst thing in the world—but losing Mason just might be.

The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. She writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Remi is tired of being suffocated by her older brother who is really just trying to keep her safe. He's hired bodyguards to protect her and she works hard to ditch them. When she goes to a party and see Masen across the way, she's desperate to meet him but feels he'll be out of her reach. Imagine her surprise when he's introduced as her new bodyguard. There's instant chemistry between them but Masen's had a rough past and doesn't know what love is and Remi has so much from her past that creeps in on her when she's not expecting it. Masen sees her in a different way and he fights to not blur the line between business and personal. She makes that hard because as they both learn boundries it's impossible to keep things separate but before they can be together they have to find the person that Masen is trying to protect her from. Ms. Foster always writes her heroes as big hunky men and each book tops the last one, how I don't know! I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.

4.5* From the first moment that Remi laid on eyes on Mason, she was smitten. He was someone that she definitely wouldn't mind getting to know better. Knowing her older brother though that was going to be hard with how overprotective he was. Imagine her surprise when Mason ended up being her new bodyguard.

Mason though saw more than what was just on the outside, he saw what was underneath. He made her feel things that she wasn't expecting and she was making him feel things that he shouldn't allow himself as her bodyguard.

As these two learn more about each other and start to develop feelings will they be cut short by her stalker? Will they have their chance at their HEA? Will Aiden blow up over what is happening?

This Is Love is book two in the Harmony Pointe series. While it is a standalone, the first book in the series has characters that cross over into this book and I seriously adored the first one so why not read it. I love how this author interweaves her series and characters from other books and just has this massive world of stories that connect. The fact that I have a soft spot for bodyguard books meant that I did not put this down until I got to the last page.

Remi Divine is an actress who has some serious problems. Plagued by a persistent stalker, her very overprotective big brother Aiden has hired her bodyguards that make her feel more trapped than protected. After escaping from her bodyguards a few times, her brother gets her a bodyguard that she can’t get away from in the form of the very tempting Mason Swift. Soon it’s not only her life that’s in danger, it’s also her heart.

Mason is all set to think that Remi will be a diva but what he finds is a sweet, vulnerable and warm woman who has a huge heart, whose friends are a pivotal part of her life, and gives of herself to her fans. With Mason as her bodyguard, Remi is worried that she’ll be stifled like with her previous guards, but Mason allows her to be free while keeping her protected and teaching her things about herself and making her fall for him.

He cradled her face between his hands, kissing her deeply as he loved her. And oh, how he loved her. He was tender and dominating in equal measure, lighting her up like she’d been living in the dark.

Remi, even though she is an actress, has lead a bit of a sheltered life. Losing her parents at a young age, she was raised by her brother and always tried to be a good girl, never wanting to be more of a burden than she believed she was. Mason has his own scars as a kid who spent most of his time being shuffled in the foster care system and no real family to call his own. Seeing these two characters connect and heal each other makes my heart happy. Mason is super swoony and Remi is a supremely likeable character. I fell in love with these two very quickly as well as the gang of characters of her friends who are more like family.

As they try to keep their relationship secret from the public, they face ever increasing danger from a stalker that’s becoming more unstable and the tension mounts. Honestly, there are hints and curveballs throughout the book, so you’re never entirely sure who the stalker is which really built up the suspense. I loved how the story played out and that ending was so good and so poignant, it just makes me anticipate the next book even more. I love this cast of characters and you see so much potential for the other characters to tell their stories as well. Five stars for a sexy bodyguard and his Princess.

This is Love was perfectly written. I absolutely loved Mason! The banter between him and Remi was the best! There were so many memorable interactions between them that it's hard to pick a favorite moment. I read their story with a smile on my face, and a few emotional scenes toward the end made me shed a few tears.

Remi's friend, Piper, is hilarious! I'm always entertained by her and can't wait for her story. I also look forward to seeing what Melissa Foster has in store for Aiden! Love this series!!!
