I’ve read many of Melissa Foster’s books and have liked most of them very much. I’ve loved a few of them, too. This is Love was good, but not a great fit for me. Even after reading both book 1 in the Harmony Pointe series as well as the Sugar Lake series, which this series is spun off from, I was overwhelmed with the amount of secondary characters. This is a frequent issue with Foster’s books. By sheer volume, there are lots of characters and many of them cross series lines and “visit” each other in books. I sometimes find it unnecessary, especially when it’s a distraction.
I liked Remi and Mason and thought overall they were a good match. The fact that there was a bit of an age difference never occurred to me...until the author brought our attention to it. I think their childhood tragedies made them more alike than different.
The stalker part of the story, though, was almost an afterthought from my point of view. There was a lot of talk but little action on that front. I certainly am not advocating violence towards Remi, but that is why she has a bodyguard in the first place.
Overall, it was fine. Some have mentioned some cheesy dialogue, which I’ll agree with. And the almost adolescent interactions between Remi and her besties got an occasional eye roll from this reader. I’ll read book 3, as well as whatever else Foster writes, because I do enjoy her style. This just wasn’t my favorite.

I have been a fan of Melissa Foster's for a very long time. I realized reading this one just how many stories behind I am, but that's okay! It's always nice to revisit characters you've been away from for a while.

This story is about Remi, a famous actress with a bit of a stalker problem and an over-protective brother and Mason, her hottieguard. This was a story full of feels and deep emotions and there's just no getting around how perfect this couple is. Their friends and the whole cast is fun to watch interact.

Always a recommended read!

Love me some Melissa Foster and when I read this, I immediately thought of the movie The BodyGuard- In a Very Good Way.
Ms. Foster puts her unique spin on a solid idea.

If you love a good opposites attract romances you'll love this book. I've pretty much been spending my whole morning devouring this book, I just liked this story that much. I loved getting to know Remi and Dalton's past and seeing how it made the people they are in this book. I loved seeing that intense connection the two had and they have some interesting steamy scenes. I love that there was a bit of mystery when it came to the stalker. I kept wondering if and when something would pop up or if the stalker would take things further then the creepy messages. I loved Dalton help Remi not only as her body guard but as a partner who would help support her when it comes to just taking care of herself and making some boundaries. Shes a bit of a star and its hard having a normal life and she gives a lot and its hard to just roam around without someone wanting something from her like autographs when she just simply wants to live a normal life. There is plenty to like and enjoy about this book and I recommend you lovely readers to check it out for yourself.

This book is fantastic!!! I can’t get enough of Remi and Mason. This is Love had me feeling so many emotions while reading it. Remi understands the reason for bodyguards because of her stalker, but she can’t stand feeling like she’s trapped while staying protected. Along comes her new bodyguard Mason, who will protect Remi with everything he has and also let her have room to breath but still be safe. He will change everything she thought she knew about bodyguards and she will change everything he thought he wanted. I laughed, cried and swooned and got sucked into every word on the page. You will love this book.

This hottieguard of a bodyguard is aaaaaaalll the macho muscle a girl needs to feel hot and bothered! All.the.swoon!! Once again Melissa writes all the amazing words with this actress/stalker/hot bodyguard story that has deep feels and a close, loving family of friends.

The slow burn between Remi Divine and her hired bodyguard, Mason Swift, is superb torture. And when they finally give in to the attraction and all that they feel... combustible. There's hysterical laughs, fantastic family/friend times, heart breaking scenes that will have you sobbing, all mixed with the intense feels of need, want, and love.

This book is everything!

This book will have you laughing, crying and turn your world upside down.

Remi, being an actress that has a stalker needs protection 24/7. She's feeling suffocated however extremely lonely! She has had more bodyguards than she can remember. She needs some freedom!

Enter Mason, hottieguard! Mason lives and breathes to protect his clients. What happens when his next client is Remi, this strong, rebellious woman who likes to "ditch" her bodyguards.

At first glance I thought this book would be steamy however I was pleasantly surprised how tender and loving these characters are! I love how hard Remi is up front and then we see a vulnerable side to her, likewise with Mason. He is built like a machine however his personality is the complete opposite!

I was hooked from the very first page. It is part of a series however it can be read as a standalone.

This Is Love by Melissa Foster is book Two in the Harmony Pointe Series. This is the story of Mason Swift and Remi Divine. I have read the previous book but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Remi is a young actress that has to be assigned body guards due to a stalker and of course just being a star. But she is not taking things seriously in my thoughts and even tries to ditch her body guards. This leads Mason to take on the case more personally. Mason is a little bit older than Remi and has had a different life. Mason has grown up in the foster care system then went on to be a special operative. Mason in now into body guarding which his how he ends up working with Remi. Both have already settled into who the other person is in their mind but the more they get to know each other they start to realizes just how much more the other is than what they thought.
I am a big fan of Ms. Foster's so this was a must read for me.

Thank you to Melissa for my copy of this book via Netgalley and to Lisa for letting me take part in this tour. I LOVED the first book in the Harmony Pointe Series, Call Her Mine and I was so excited to return to the town and to catch up with the Sugar Lake series guys too. That said you can still read this as a standalone.

Remi has shown up a few times throughout the Love in Bloom series so when I heard she was getting her own book I was super excited. Remi might be a celebrity but this girl wants nothing more than to be treated like a normal person. Remi is a sweet girl who is easy to like but is a bit of a people pleaser. She is always trying to please her fans which is sweet but she needs to learn to take time for herself too.

Mason is hired to protect Remi after it's discovered she has a stalker. Mason is ex-special forces and is the best of the best at his job. He's also a hottie! Big and burly he can definitely protect our Remi but we soon discover there's a softer side to him too.

This is a fairly light read but there were a few tough moments in this book. Melissa deals with some serious issues as well as the easy romance between Remi and Mason.

I loved all the secondary characters. It was like catching up with old friends. I also loved all the links to other series of Melissa's with Parker and Grayson and Josh and Riley. I love this world that Melissa has created. I also cannot wait to get to Aiden's book!

I really struggled to get through this book. It just felt so drawn out. There were some amazing sweet and sexy moments, but the in between just dragged on. It was a bit disappointing because I loved the first in this series so much. While this didn’t click for me, I know a lot of people will love this gushy, over the top romance. I’m looking forward to Harley and Piper’s story!

I really enjoyed this book. It has sweet characters. Yes there was a stalker involved but I always felt Remi was safe. There were a few twists that surprised me. I loved Remi and Mason's connections.

This is the first book of Melissa foster and I cannot wait to go back and read all the connections of her characters. I enjoyed it as a standalone but loved the relationships of all the other characters.

Remi and Mason grow alot in the book. I loved how they opened up to each other.

Anyone who knows me will know right away why I read This Is Love....bodyguard romance! Yep, it's my catnip!

I absolutely enjoyed the heck out of this book! Remi Divine is an actress who is struggling with not only being stalked but also with an overprotective brother. He has assigned multiple bodyguards to her but is missing the target with them. When Mason Swift takes her case personally, the sparks instantly fly. Their chemistry is off the charts. The only challenge in guarding her body will be for him to be able to maintain his focus.

I loved both of their characters. They each bring a history of personal loss to their relationship. It makes it touch for them to be vulnerable with one another. However, through the love they find, they are able to eventually heal.

I'm looking forward to reading more by Ms. Foster!

Thank you to NetGalley, Montlake Romance and Ms. Foster for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

So this is the second book in the series for Harmony Pointe, Remy Divine that we met in the first book. Remy is an actress and tired of having robotic body guards following her and her overprotective brother runnin her life. I had wondered about how it would be with this big brother but I didn't feel like Remy did, I found her to be a brat, I got that she felt closed in but she had a stalker so I get her big brothers feeling about it and I also understood why he wanted to take care of her since he raised her. Remy sees this hot guy and is instantly attracted but instead of acting like an adult she acts the the diva Mason thought she was. Spending time together these two fall in love but do all their problems go away?

A sweet romance that felt a little rushed.

Remi Divine is an actress who just wants to live her life with total freedom. Unfortunately, she has a stalker who has been dormant for months. She can’t stand having body guards who are too professional and wants someone more laid back and relatable.

Mason Swift owns a private security firm and takes over Remi’s personal security as a favor for a mutual friend.

They quickly fall into a forbidden kind of love while Remi acts like a spoiled brat. No heavy conflict took place until much later in the book when the stalker is identified. There wasn’t much to the plot beyond that.

I wanted to love this book since I’m a fan of the writer, but was personally unable to connect to these characters and get sucked into their world. Remi came off as childish to me and while the interactions with her friends was sweet, those scenes almost felt forced into the book.

I just didn’t enjoy this one.

Charming!

A super sweet love story with lots of emotion and heart; plus a dash of intrigue and action.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

Such a beautiful and amazing story that is all heart brought to us by Melissa Foster. This is Love burns through each page as the chemistry between Remi and Mason heat up. I loved these two from the beginning. Remi is a powerful soul, she just has to dig it out and let it shine. Mason is locked in himself for so long, he is unsure he still has a heart.

I loved how each character brings the story to life. The two main characters, Remi and Mason, bring something special to the story. I was not just hooked on their love story, I was hooked on it ALL!!

Mason is not hard to fall in love with and Remi is a girl that makes you believe to start living for yourself. I could not stop talking about this book and completely recommend this book!

This is Love is book two in the Harmony Pointe series, however, it can be read as a complete standalone. Remi and Mason, oh how I loved these two. Remi is an actress with a stalker and Mason is her new hottieguard. Remi was not a fan of her bodyguards, she wanted to just live her life freely. Mason, is frustrated. Remi has gotten away from two of his bodyguards, so he decides to take matters into his own hands.
The chemistry between Mason and Remi was explosive. I loved their relationship from the start. There was some dislike at the start, but the more time they spent together and the more they started to learn about each other things started to shift. I loved Remi, my heart broke for her and all the lose she experienced plus having to deal with a stalker. Mason. Well what isn’t to love about a super alpha bodyguard?
This story was fun, sweet, hot with a little bit of suspense and mystery. A MUST READ! I can’t wait to return to Harmony Pointe for Piper’s story!

This is Love by Melissa Foster
Harmony Pointe #2

Remi has a stalker and her brother, Aiden, has hired bodyguards to keep her safe. She is NOT thrilled to be so hemmed in and yet when Mason takes over sparks fly in more ways than one. The two have a tense truce in place eventually but it is difficult for them to keep a distance as he protects her and she works to finish a film. There is no real conflict between Remi and Mason and the main tension in the story is the stalker. The story was well written and interesting but I have a feeling that if you have not read any of the previous books that include couples in this story you might feel there is a lot of padding to this romance of Mason and Remi. If you are looking for an easy read filled with good friends, happy events and a low level stress factor even with a stalker then this book might be just what you are looking for.

Did I enjoy this book? Yes

Special thanks to the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is Love by Melissa Foster is a sweet and charming romance between a movie star and her bodyguard. You may think this is very cliche but don't let that deter you. In the romance world, this is a popular troupe. Remi has a stalker and so her overbearing brother hires a few security men to watch over her. When Remi keeps giving them the slip, the head of the company, Mason, takes her assignment on.

At first, there is a little bit of instalove and then there is instahate which makes for some awesome banter. Soon, the two realize they have more in common then they thought. They become friends and then more....

I absolutely love how Mason came from nothing and made something of himself. I also love the sass of Remi. No one is going to stand in her way...not even a stalker. The two make each other better.

This is Love is sugar sweet and super romantic. There are lots of steamy scenes and swoon-worthy moments as one should expect in a Melissa Foster novel. There are also a few twists and turns readers will totally love.
