Wow, I just fell in love with Remi & Mason! 5 stars for this one!
Meet Remi, actress, dealing with a stalker and body guards that stifle her so much she wants to run. She's in NY, her stalker is back in California, why does her brother insist on caging her in? When she meets her new body guard Mason, holy moly she can't believe her eyes! He's so hot! How will she keep her feelings at bay for him? These two have an instant attraction to each other, but Mason is in charge of her safety, he can't let his attraction distract him from keeping her safe.
What happens when these two cross the line? Read and find out! Grab this one asap!
This book was soo good! Remi is sick of the bodyguards, and feels that they are not needed even though she has a stalker. After ditching some of Mason Swifts best men Mason steps up to guard Remi, and boy do those sparks fly. This book has everything that makes Melissa one of my favorite authors. Strong female total alpha hero with a heart of gold for the right woman. Remi and Mason have a lot to teach each other and together they are DEVINE!
This is Love is the second story in Melissa Foster’s Harmony Pointe series, and while it could be read alone, you will definitely benefit from staring at the beginning of the series. An exciting, mystery romance, this is a wonderful story to curl up with on a rainy day.
Mason Swift is all kinds of sexy, hot, Alpha male and Remi Divine expects him to be every bit as arrogant and irritating as her previous bodyguards; so basically, he has to go! But Mason is dedicated to being everything that the beautiful Diva needs; little does he expect that to come with a combustible attraction and a longing that neither he nor Remi can deny.
Ms Foster has penned an explosive story of danger, tragedy, and two hearts reaching for their HEA, but nothing is ever easy, and this story will keep you on the edge of your seat till the last page is turned. I can’t wait for the next instalment of Harmony Pointe!
I absolutely loved the hottieguard and his diva!
This story starts simple, with actress Remi and bodyguard Mason. But boy, does their instant chemistry complicate things! I really enjoyed the focus on their hearts and histories, more so than their physical attraction, though there's enough steam in that area, too. Both Remi and Mason have suffered through tragedies and heartbreak, and this story did a brilliant job of revealing all of that as they grew closer to each other, while at the same time there's a real, significant threat to Remi's safety from a crazed stalker.
The sheer breadth and depth of this story was all-consuming and stunningly powerful to read. Characters from the author's other books are included in integral ways, not just as walk-on characters. This has a sweet, small-town feel, and I loved every delightful page. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
With a very insta-love feel and a much lighter tone than you’d expect from a book that features a stalker, I have mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, I loved the protective and caring Mason, who isn’t a playboy, only has eyes for Remi, and doesn’t hesitate to show how much she means to him. On the other hand, I didn’t love the speed at which the relationship moved, the cheesiness of some of the dialogue, or the fact that sometimes Remi came across as childish and naive. Ultimately, there are probably as many things I liked about the book as there are things that troubled me, but it’s a feel good, light, low angst romance with plenty of steam.
The story follows Remi, an actress who has lived most of her life in the spotlight. She’s never been allowed to truly spread her wings, but ever since a stalker entered the picture, she’s been so restrained that she’s about ready to snap. When she gets a new bodyguard, Mason, who not only protects her but also seems to genuinely care for her, it doesn’t take long for deeper feelings to develop. But Mason is there to do a job, and he can’t give Remi the level of protection she needs if all of his focus is on the attraction that sparks between them.
If you’re a fan of Melissa Foster’s work, I’m sure you’ll love this one (and it will probably be easier to keep track of all of the many characters involved in the story). There’s a sweetness to the relationship that makes it feel like there’s a deep connection between these two, and it was refreshing to read about a guy who isn’t afraid of being open about his feelings and hasn’t been sleeping around for years. That being said, I probably would’ve liked the book a lot more if things had developed a little slower between Remi and Mason. The fact that Mason is Remi’s bodyguard is kind of a non-issue, and it’s not long before they’re planning a future together. However, it didn’t always feel like they were equals - Remi has lived such a sheltered life that Mason teaches her some things, and since he’s her bodyguard, he’s in control of some of her day-to-day activities. It doesn’t overpower the story, but it’s definitely something that shapes their relationship. Fans of a lighter, easy romance will probably enjoy this the most. I received an ARC via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review of this low angst romance.
This is Love is a sweet, and absorbing story. That has two likable, well-rounded, empathetic, and charming main characters. Whose lives growing up were far from easy, as Remi lost both her parents at a young age, and Mason grew up in foster care, and this link definitely helped create a solid bond between the pair.
Yet, there was also a stalker aspect to this story that I honestly couldn't connect with, mainly because I never got the feeling Remi was in any real danger. But also because it took so long for the stalker plot to come to the fore.
But saying that I truly enjoyed everything else. Especially the range of characters, and the lightness of this tale. Not to mention the romance which was well paced and believable. And I would recommend This is Love to others, particularly if you're a fan of the author or have read any of the other stories featuring this group of characters of which there are a few.
Remix is a movie star and she is surrounded by bodyguards, when she has a stalker things get unbearable so she goes to harmony Pointe. Mason hasn't had an easy life growing up in the care system but he is a protector through and through and he is a former special operative. When Remi ditches her bodyguards and puts herself in harm's way that is when Mason steps in. They have a chemistry that is so hot that you can feel it coming of the page's. Melissa is one of my all time favourite authors and I love her books so much, she is an amazing author and talented writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed.
Remi and Mason’s story was Divine indeed! Low impact with the suspense and heavy with the romance. Remi was pretty much ready to leave the spotlight anyway, and Mason made it easy to think about something else. The secondary characters can be a bit overwhelming if you’ve not read many of the previous series in Ms. Foster’s backlist. But, for those of us who have, it’s great to catch up with old friends.
4 Star review of This Is Love (Harmony Pointe #2) by Melissa Foster
Book two in the latest series from Ms.Foster and this is Remi Divine and Mason Swift’s story.
Remi Divine is an actress, with a stalker. Mason Swift is frustrated when she evades the 2 bodyguards he has on her detail and is forced to take over the job himself.
When danger and tragedy strike, Remi and Mason will realize just what is important to them. The chemistry between them sizzles and as the walls they have both built start to fall, hope will bloom.
Can Mason keep Remi safe, or will their blossoming relationship be destroyed before it can truly begin.
I received a copy of this book through the publisher via NetGalley
This was a really great read. I connected so much with remi and I loved the mix of romance and edgy thriller.
I’ve created a graphic for this book and put my review up on my Instagram stories.
This is a light fun easy read that was a pleasure to turn the pages of. We met Remi in the previous book in this series but now we get her own story
She is an actress and her brother has installed bodyguards around her to protect her The only problem is she is feeling smothered Then as she is away from her stalker she demands only one guard and Mason Swift is the one that is tasked with keeping her safe. The attraction between these two is instant and off the charts. We know that these two have both suffered loss both of them lost their parents young and Mason has also lost his military brothers We also know that the stalker will strike will Mason be able to keep the woman he loves safe and will they get the HEA they sop richly deserve you will, have to read to see

I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
This is Love is such a fabulous read. I love how Melissa Foster brings back such beloved characters and intertwines them into new stories. Remi is such a wonderful soul. You feel for her so much once you get more of her back ground. I love how caring she is and is more then just an actress. Mason will make you swoon. He just has this way about him that will make you melt into a puddle of goo. You feel the attraction and chemistry between Mason and Remi from the very beginning. You see two souls connecting and the love just blossom so. I love the protectiveness of Mason when it comes to Remi and you know it is more then just a job for him. I really can't wait to see what love is in-stored for Aiden. You need to pick up This is Love and just enjoy getting to know Remi and Mason.
I love visiting Harmony Pointe! Besides getting a wonderful new story, we get to catch up with old friends. Remi has had a security team guarding her from a stalker. There haven't been any recent threats and she is rebelling against the tight reins. She begs her brother for a change. She didn't know what the change would bring. Enter Mason. He takes the job of running her personal security. The chemistry between the two is explosive. While he tries to keep it business, Remi keeps trying to make it personal. The battle of wills begins. The characters feel real. The story pulls on the heartstrings while still having a lot of heat! Plenty of suspense and fun all mixed together. I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I look forward to returning to Harmony Pointe in the next story.
4 1/2 stars.
Book 2 in the Harmony Pointe series gives us Remi & Mason's journey to love. I just love the whole "The Bodyguard" vibe I got from this book. Remi is an A-list young actress who needs protecting from a stalker. Her older brother hires a friend's security company to guard her, She doesn't like the feeling of being on a leash that she has from the guards who were sent, so her brother asked his buddy Mason, the owner of the security company to take the job personally. And so it begins...... I loved watching the sexy, alpha Mason, fall head-over-heels for his charge. I don't think Remi had a choice but to fall in love with this totally swoonworthy man. They have so much chemistry! Wonderful characters, sweet and tender moments, and some tense situations due to the stalker issue make this a well rounded story about finding the one when you least expect it. I really enjoyed it.
Another winner from Melissa Foster! Remi is an actress with a stalker after her and her brother Aiden hires Mason to keep her safe. Mason finds himself struggling to follow his rules and not follow his attraction to Remi.
The romance is sweet, hot, and realistic. The way the story unfolds and they deal with situations together is lovely. A lot of appearances from favorite characters, including my faves Ben and Aurelia. They stalker mystery was good as well and provided suspense.
I hope Aiden gets his own story soon! I am really enjoying this series and look forward to the next!
Thanks to the publisher for a review copy via NetGalley.
Remi Divine is an actress who is being plagued by a stalker so her brother has hired bodyguards to look after her. To begin with she runs away from them all until Mason Swift takes over. There is inescapable chemistry between them. They both try so very hard to fight it but in a moment of weakness they kiss on the film set bringing out the rage of the stalker who threatens Mason via text. The connection between them to to hard to ignore but they keep it private and behind closed doors. This is a must read romance story which I loved reading and is one of my favorite reads this year.
Sigh.. it is always a great day when a new Melissa Foster story turns up on my Kindle.
This is Love is the second installment in the Harmoney Point series, and whilst it could be read alone, why would you want to miss any of the goodness?
Now, I won't lie, as I was starting this story, I was trying to put the family tree together in my head, as so many of Ms Foster's stories do weave together these days, however I gave up and just got right to the nitty gritty of the story.
Our leading lady is DIVINE, and our main man is all kinds of hot, alpha-ey bodyguardness.
In fact, I was expecting someone to burst in song with "I Will Always Love You", and I was getting all kinds of Bodyguard vibes from this story.
Fun, flirty with a bit of mystery and a twist or two, this was a great way to send my weekend.
Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a decent romance almost like the movie the bodyguard but contemporary. Remi is a movie star who feels caged by her brother's overprotective bodyguards. Mason is picked as the main one and their chemistry flares. I liked both characters but wished Remi took more authority of her desires. I felt Mason did too much of the fixing and planning for her. She should be able to experience her own freedom without needing him there constantly lecturing and protecting.
Overall decent novel.
I love this book. This book is not only romantic, sexy and fun is also full of suspense. Remi and Mason are an amazing couple and their story is a page turner one. I enjoy reading this book and I can't wait for the next book in this series. I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange of my honest review.
