This book had me hooked from the outset. Twisting and turning with thrill after chilling thrill. Gave me massive feelings of nostalgia with the flashbacks to 1997 and genuinely struggled to put ut down. Please read this book!

Sophie White is a teenager who wants to lose her virginity. She talks to her 3 friends all who agree, with 4 male friends on board as well all the same ages they make a pact to do the deed before the summer holidays are over.

Sophie's dad owns and runs White's the estate agents when an empty property comes up Sophie takes the keys from her dad's desk and plans who will go with who. The night doesn't go too well for two of the couples one of whom goes missing.

The book flicks backwards and forwards to the 1970s when the incident occurred. moving forward 20 years. Sophie now runs the estate agents. with a team of hard workers all dedicated to their jobs. Things start happening starting with one of the characters being killed in a road accident, which then continues on a rollercoaster of frightening episodes for many of the others.
Sophie is determined to find out who is behind it, but will it be her downfall.

Such a gripping story, it kept me page-turning, it wasn't the person I thought it was and the guilty party was well hidden right till it was revealed. Towards the end i didn't breath as it was very tense.
What a great book. Well done Gemma.
Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to review and read this book x

This novel is a mystery told from two perspectives, a young version of the protagonist, Sophie White, and an adult version. This approach has been in quite a few novels I’ve read lately. I thought the author did an excellent job of relating the escapades of the younger Sophie, who at the age of fifteen planned a pop-your-cherry get-together that was reminiscent of the swinging “key parties” of the 70’s. But I had a hard time reconciling the youngster who would come up with such a Machiavellian (if not practical) solution to her and her friend’s “virginity problem” with the fastidious professional realtor she seemed to have become.
While there were some artful red herrings thrown in and an interesting premise, I often found myself questioning the main character’s motivations. Though Sophie is being stalked, she seems more concerned about what she’s going to wear then the fact that somebody nefarious seems to have access to her apartment. I figured out whodunnit and whydunnit about three-quarters of the way through.
Still, it was a quick read. And the author had a good solid solution for her mystery that fit the puzzle pieces. Something that is not always as easy at it sounds.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review

I read this in a day as I wasn't able to leave it down, Sophie and her friends make a pact and it comes back to haunt them 20 years later, all through the book I had different people in mind but I would have never guessed the ending. I definitely recommend reading this book and I would like to thank the publishers and netgalley for letting me have the book to review and the opinions expressed are entirely my own views and are completely unbiased.

In 1997 Sophie and her friends decide its time to lose their virginity. This action leads to unforeseen consequences 20 years later. It seems something happened that night 20 years ago that no one knew about and now someone is looking for revenge. There is suspense that will keep you guessing about the motive and the guilty party. There are alternating chapters from the past and the present that give us more details about the past one piece at a time. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
