This is the second book in the Less Than series. This is kind of a forbidden romance, as the male MC is wanting a relationship with his best friend's younger sister. It also has fake dating, embarrassing mistakes, a secret, and swoon-worthy romance.

I have been a fan of Carrie Ann Ryan’s for a while. Seems I have been reading her for years now.
I really liked Amelia and Tucker. They have known each other for a while but are able to see each other in a different light.
I thought this was a great story that pulled me in from the first page. Another great story from Carrie Ann Ryan!
Disclaimer:
I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I received an ARC of this novel from Netgalley in exchange for my review. This is the second book from the Less Than You series, and I have enjoyed them both. You do not need to have read the first book in order to enjoy this one. Amelia Carr has loved her best friend for a very long time, so when she decided to profess her love to him-she is bursting with confidence that he feels the same way as she does. When he makes it abundantly clear that all he feels for her is friendship, Amelia is devastated, and to make matters worse, her nosy family keeps butting in with unwanted advice. Her solution? Tucker Reinhard. Tucker is like a bonus member of Amelia's family because he is very close friends with her brothers, but unbeknownst to Amelia, Tucker has had a crush on her for a long time. When she asks Tucker to be her pretend boyfriend in order to get her family off her back, he is more than willing to help her out. When things start to become a bit too real, will Tucker take things from pretend to real? Or will his friendship with Amelia's brothers win out? There are no big twists or turns in this story but it is well written and a quick read.
I am loving this spin off series! The Carr siblings are a great bunch to hang out with. Plus we still get to peek in on some of the Montgomerys during the course of the story.
This is a classic friends to lover story. Also best friend's sister issue on top of all that. Amelia gets is embarrassed and heart broken after she is spurned by her best friend. In order to save face with her family and get them to stop worrying about her, she concocts a story that Tucker and she are dating as just friends. She convinces Tucker to go along with it.
As always happens, hearts become involved even when we don't want them to. Soon things look much rosier as a couple than either thought possible. A little bit of angst, some serieous s3xy times and a great bit of humor. Wonderful romance to read!
Amelia confesses her love for her best friend. Only he doesn't feel the same. In order to get over her embarrassment and to ward off her overprotective big brothers she creates a fake relationship. But she uses her brother's best friend Tucker to help her with this.
Tucker has spent his entire life alone - a product of the foster care system. When his best friend's little sister comes to him with the proposition he agrees to help her -- even if he has to deal with her brothers. Once they start this fake relationship Tucker begins to see Amelia in a whole new light.
I love all of Carrie Ann Ryans’s books. She does a great job of capturing love and friendship between groups of friends. This book continues with Devin’s sister Amelia who we thought along was in a relationship with her BFF, Toby. Turns out, the moment she stripped down, Literally and figuratively, and confessed her love, he admitted that he was in love with someone he had been seeing. To escape pity from her group, she asks Devin’s bff Tucker to play beard, so they will all stop meddling and feeling sorry for her. Of course, that was a terrible idea for all involved!
Cute story about a fake relationship that gets as convoluted as the type of stories always do. It’s a book two, but I only slightly felt the lack of having read book one. It’s a great, light read for the holiday season.
This brother’s best friend/fake relationship story had me intrigued from the beginning to the end! Amelia and Tucker’s story is full of lies, love, family and friends. Author Carrie Ann Ryan writes an amazing storyline once again in Reckless with You!
This second book in the Less Than You series is an extremely enjoyable and although it can be read as a standalone, it makes it so much better if you read the first book! This book has a wonderful storyline and characters! Loved it! 5 stars!
RECKLESS WITH YOU is the second book in Carrie Ann Ryan’s “Less Than” series. This story will appeal to readers who enjoy the “pretend romance turns real” trope. This book opens on a cringe-worthy moment in Amelia Carr’s life. Amelia bares it all – physically and emotionally – when she tells her best friend Tobey she loves him. Tobey doesn’t reciprocate Amelia’s feelings but he lets her down in one of the worst ways possible. As Amelia is dealing with the embarrassing mental flashbacks and dealings with her friends and family members giving her unintentional pity vibes, her brother’s BFF Tucker Reinhard takes her by surprise by filling an emotional void left by Tobey, but also providing a heavy dose of physical attraction that was never really a part of her relationship with Tobey. With Tucker, Amelia gets a definite upgrade from Tobey – as a friend, and as the kind of lover she always wanted.
A big part of why I enjoyed RECKLESS WITH YOU so much is because I related to it on a very personal level. I started dating my husband under somewhat similar circumstances to the Amelia started getting involved with Tucker. Sometimes you find a person who ends up playing a pivotal part in your live, and you never saw them coming. It’s like the classic Rolling Stones lyrics about you can’t always get what you want, but you sometimes get what you need. In the end, what hurts Amelia most when it comes to Tobey, is that he wasn’t even as good a friend as she thought he was. It can be incredibly jarring when you feel like you can’t trust your judgement anymore. The relationship between Amelia and Tucker starts out like any romantic comedy – playful and flirty at first, heating up in a major way the more time they spend together, and then becoming more complicated as their feelings deepen.
RECKLESS WITH YOU is a story about unexpected love when passion and friendship mix. The sex scenes in RECKLESS WITH YOU get very spicy but they are also very honest and true to the characters. The supporting characters in this book are interesting and I look forward to reading about them in other stories. I like that RECKLESS WITH YOU is told alternating perspectives because the main characters are slow to reveal their true feelings to each other.
Another good emotional read, my new fave series from Carrie Ann Ryan. Can't wait for more.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ACR, I voluntarily read and reviewed.
Carrie Ann Ryan gives us another great read. I loved Amelia and Tucker together they were really cute
The pain of first love proves an eye-opening experience for two bruised hearts that never even had a clue. Ryan casts a spell over your heart that is gut-wrenching, awkward and tempting. Amelia and Tucker have both been let down by life and love. A painful life lesson puts everything they thought they knew at risk. Falling in love puts them on the cusp of something wonderful, if they don't let fear of the unknown get in the way. Reckless with You turns heartache in hope. Sexy meets sensitive and loves becomes human.
