A lovely uplifting book that is easy to read and enjoyable. I have read other books by this author and this one did not disappoint. Heartwarming and engaging 4 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
Joining Ben on his journey to answer all of his ‘what if’s’ of his past and what his future could be like if he doesn’t make some changes.
Very relatable characters.
A lovely heartwarming page turning book, I couldn’t wait to see how it was going to end.

Heartbreaking, uplifting, romantic and honest, All About Us is a book that might just make you cry.
Tom Ellen has created characters and written about them in a way that you cannot help but to connect with them on every level. To laugh with them, to cry and to have your heart broken when they do.
A fascinating story that looks at what could happen if you did one thing differently how would it have changed your life?

Very easy read! Christmas carol meets time travelling. A magical story about how the choices we make will shape our lives. The main character get to go back and change the way he done things with no change to the present. He can see how his future could be with certain choices. He sees how selfish he was in the past. He realises being honest is for the best and how it shapes you as a person.

Loved this. When Ben hears from an old flame, he starts to wonder what their life would have been like if he had chosen her instead of his wife Daphne.
When an elderly stranger gives him a watch that allows him to time travel, he is given the opportunity on a few occasions to see exactly how his life would have turned out with Alice and finds out that although his life isn’t perfect with Daphne, the alternative isn’t what he expected.
The flashbacks/current day balance is just right, and characters are so relatable.

If you had the chance to change things, how would you do it? This is Groundhog Day but past and future, and how different chances make different endings, but do you like what you see? A fascinating love story, which comes out right at the end, but shows how little things can make such a difference. I had to finish it, to find out it did all come right at the end. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

All about us by Tom Ellen is a lovely read. In the vein of A Christmas Carol, Ben gets the chance to revisit key points in his life which allow him to reflect on his decisions and their consequences as well as to pour salve on some of his own hurts and regrets. I love that nothing magically changes as a result of his reawakenings per se but that he can use what he has glimpsed and re-understood to make conscious and proactive choices in the present. Will it be Daphne or Alice? What is the deal with Harv? Why did they hang about with Marek? And what about Ben’s job? Did he miss a key turning point? This was a really lovely read.

Wow what an enchanting read!
I was totally taken in and lost amongst the pages of this lovely, magical and enchanting read and didn’t put it down until the last page had been read.
I love the plot of the story and it’s something we have all done in our lives, wondering if we made a right decision here and there or at the least how it would be if we took the other path however wrong it felt at the time.
There were many levels to this story and they ran altogether perfectly, it was like Ben had the ‘perfect storm’ brewing in his life and he managed to see (thanks to the watch) what could of happen and also why it happened before he went too far down the wrong path.
Congratulations to the author, this truly is a magical read and I’m envious of the people who are yet to enjoy it.
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity of reading this book.

This book, based on a Christmas Carol, was well written and an interesting concept, what if you could go back in time and change your decisions, listen to the little things you've missed and see what others really said. What if you got to spend one more day with your late mother? What if you made a different choice today, what would your future look like and how would you feel?
Time-travel isn’t really my thing and if I realised before I started reading, I probably wouldn’t have chosen it but overall, I enjoyed it and was glad to have read it. A romance from a man’s perspective is also a massive change to the norm so was worth reading if only for that and he’s done a great job with it too.
However, for me it felt a bit of a struggle at times, there were times when I wondered if we all would want to go through this, but I really don’t think I would. Ben feels insecure and bored with his relationship and I felt that he had learnt a lot through the book and came out a better person for it but the ending was a bit too “happily ever after for me”, his wife, Daphne was a bit too understanding and, although the story wasn’t about her, it would have been nice to hear more about her and how things had been for her.
It was a good lesson in being thankful for what you have, for the need to talk to others and share your thoughts and feelings and for that most of all I think it’s worthwhile reading for many people.

I was hoping to be completely gripped by this book, but sadly I wasn't and it didn't hold my attention. The main character was quite weak and self pitying and far from being the romance book I'd have liked, it was hard going.

Really enjoyed reading this, well written, and an enjoyable, entertaining, and emotional experience. Will definitely recommend the title.

What if...? Would you do things differently if you could go back in time? Ben certainly thinks he would - as his relationship with Daphne seems to have hit the rocks he wonders if he should have chosen a different girl 15 years ago.
Overall I enjoyed this book, it's a nice easy read. I liked Ben and Daphne, some of the relationships with other characters were slightly less believable - even with Alice I felt there was no depth to the relationship they had as students that meant Ben would have been so keen to rekindle any friendship years later. For me, the loveliest part of the book was actually Ben's relationship with his mum, it was beautifully told.
I enjoyed the time travel element - reminded me a bit of the film Sliding Doors.
I give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
Thanks to Netgalley and HQ Stories for the opportunity to review this book before publication.

It took me a couple of attempts to get into this story as I was sceptical about the time-travel element and the male point-of-view. However once I "got it" I found it to be most enjoyable.
I'm not sure that I liked Ben a whole lot and I feel that the "future" Alice was a rather unsympathetic portrayal of someone who had been "nice" at the start of the story. But it was totally intriguing and remarkable well plotted given the convoluted time frames.
Thank you to NetGalley and HQ for the ARC of All About Us, by Tom Ellen.

This has been a shorter read than I had anticipated so whizzed through this one quite quickly.
It’s not been entirely what I had imagined but I found this was a magical and emotional provoking read. This is my first read by this author and I already cannot wait to read more.

A modern day take on a Christmas Carol, with time travel ? I was a bit sceptical when I started but this is a beautifully written book and a romance from a mans point of view is I think rather unusual. A most enjoyable read this does make you think that maybe we all need to value what we have a little bit more.

Found this book difficult to read, didn’t particularly like the writing style nor the modern day twist on a classic. Stuck it out and the last 10% was better than the first 90% but it wasn’t for me

Maybe I need to read this at Christmas time. I just didn't feel it. The writing style wasn't something I could gel with. I found it super predictable, but the fact it was loosely based on a christmas carol would be the obvious explanation.
Usually I love this genre and I love any excuse to continue reading even when the time of year isn't really relevant. However, this one - just isn't for me.
I did like the last few chapters because it really came into it's own. But the first 90% just wasn't for me

When I started this book I groaned inside. I thought it was going to be like every other time traveling through time story .... I was pleasantly surprised and glad to be wrong.
This version is a retelling of A Christmas Carol and I found myself getting drawn to the characters. I liked Ben - even though he made sone stupid mistakes. I started off dislike Daphne and liking Alive but as the story progressed this flipped for me totally.
It was interesting to see how Ben’s university friends would have played out if he had kept in touch and, even though he didn’t appear often, I felt myself warming up every time the watch seller appeared.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for a free ARC of this ebook. This is an absolute joy to read. A bit of time travel, and a whole lot of love. There are so many things to love about this book, the flawed characters, the gentle unfolding of the story. It's so worth a read. I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this modern witty take on Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, it was an engaging warm and funny read. Ben was easy to identify with, even as a male character and it was easy to relate to the very modern problems he was experiencing,
All in all a fun and heart-warming read. Thank you to Netgalley and HQ for this copy in exchange for an honest review.
