I thought that this was a fabulous story!

It was well written, the chapter length was punchy and the plot was well developed and really enjoyable. As an adult reading it there were a few places where I guessed what was going to happen but to a younger reader these would be fantastic twists!

The characters were well developed and they worked well together with them having different strengths and personalities - I thought it was great

It is 5 stars from me for this one, it was well written and really enjoyable - very highly recommended!

I received a feee copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for a fair review. I give the book 4/5 starts. A good well rounded junior detective story for children aged between 7-12. A local artist’s lost painting is rediscovered and the children try to solve they mystery surrounding its rediscovery. There are enjoyable and believable characters and their relationships all seem realistic. There is an interesting plot line which develops well and adds depth to the case being investigated. As usual, the children are not believed by the adults at first, but as they story unfolds, they put forward a compelling argument and after a while, they are taken seriously. All ends are wrapped up well at the end.
