This is more a series of short musings on many things. To the backdrop of a daughter struggling to make sense of her withdrawn mother, her mother's death and her own experiences of motherhood and breast cancer. I found it interesting and well written, and easy to read in short chunks.

A short read, it tends to drag at times. It's about a mother and daughter and how she dealt with her mother's leukemia. 4 years after s her death, she discovers her mother's childhood home was a bomb site during WW1. Then it moves into her having breast cancer and raising her children as a single mom. A good little memoir.
