This is book 3 in the Endgame Trilogy and you absolutely have to read the previous books before reading this one as those talk about events that lead to this one. That being said, we finally get Ellis Bishop's story! Ellis is taking the law into his own hands in order to clear his name and bring justice to the ones who deserve it. And this leads him to kidnap Arianna, thinking that she is just as dirty as her stepfather. Arianna hates her kidnapper but soon realizes that not everything is as it seems. But in order to do what is right, she will have to turn her back on the family she has.
I absolutely loved this one! I have been impatiently wanting to know exactly what made Ellis run since the first book and I never once expected it to be this. And what it is, is heart breaking. But everything that he does to try to prove his innocence just shows the true type of man that he is. And I loved this character! Arianna is this down to earth woman who truly doesn't know what her stepfather has been doing. She is how you expect someone who is truly good hearted to be and act. She is sweet but has a backbone of steel that I really loved. And although she is afraid, she still does the things that need to be done. Throwing them together and then having some snippets of the his family in there too? I loved every minute of it and didn't want it to end! Of course now I want some stories for some of the side characters as well LOL! I will keep my fingers crossed that I may see them someday!
Bishop’s Endgame by Katie Reus
Last book in the Endgame trilogy. Romantic suspense. Can be read as a stand-alone but characters from the first two have integral parts in this story.
Ellis (the third sibling in the trilogy) has been setup. He is accused of killing his best friend by his former boss even though there is video of a drug kingpin shooting the gun. Ellis will do whatever he has to in clearing his name. Which includes kidnapping Arianna for leverage.
Fast moving, suspenseful and immediately engaging. This book is a fantastic conclusion to the series that includes a few cameos from Red Stone Security.
Ellis tries to be cold hearted but Arianna soon has him convinced she is exactly as she appears: a third grade teacher. Innocent and sweet. The heat and attraction between Ellis and Arianna grow as they work together to clear his name.
Bishop's Endgame was a well-written and exciting romantic suspense book. Good characters and a very interesting plot.
Katie Reus never disappoints. This book definitely lived up to my expectations. It's my favorite of the series. I'll be impatiently waiting for what she releases next because this is the last book in the series.
Ellis was a great hero. After reading about him in two books it was nice to get to know his character more. He was desperate which is why he did what he did. He was very conflicted about it, too. I loved seeing his interactions with his family even if there were only a few scenes with them.
Arianna is my favorite of the two. She is a really strong character, for what she went through in the past to how she ended up meeting Ellis. She's not a badass like Evie, but she's one is her own right.
I recommend this trilogy to anyone who likes romantic suspense. This is one to read in order because all the books connect despite the fact that each book is about a different couple. There's not many authors who nail the genre, but Katie is one of them.
Bishop’s Endgame by Katie Reus
Endgame Trilogy #3
The finale of the series finds Ellis looking to clear his name after months on the run. The prologue explains why he has been in hiding. The next scene is his kidnapping of a woman he believes will be the key to clearing his name. There is tension between them, as expected, along with a healthy dose of fear. Soon, though, Ellis proves to Arianna that he is not the evil person she thought he was. The rest of the story tells of how they go about clearing his name, falling in love and finding their HEA. I have to say that of the three books in the trilogy my favorite was the first.
This book was told linearly and quick paced. I felt there could have been more information about the two main characters as I felt I only met the surface of both of them and really didn’t understand how they fell for one another so quickly. They didn’t seem to have much if anything in common but the story. I guess I found it rather unbelievable and expected more for the climax of the series.
Did I enjoy the book? For the most part
Would I read more by this author? Yes
Thank you to Net Galley and KR Press, LLC for the ARC – This is my honest review.
3-4 Stars
Fast paced fantastic read, what a great end to the trilogy. Full of action, romance, tension, drama Katie as always writes an book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you turning pages in anticipation. I loved all the characters in this series and the stories and look forward to further books.

Ellis Bishop has been on the run since being framed for murder. He wants to clear his name, but the steps he has taken so far have only served to isolate him further. As a last ditch effort, he decides to kidnap the stepdaughter of the man he holds responsible for his situation.
Adriana is an elementary teacher, and though her stepfather is a ruthless businessman, she doesn’t know the full truth of his business. Finding herself kidnapped, she must face truths she can hardly comprehend regarding her stepfather. But as she learns more she can’t deny the details that had missed her notice before.
As Ellis realizes Adrianna isn’t lying about her knowledge of her stepfather’s dealings, he needs to find a plan B to what he thought was his last option and working with Adrianna might be the only way he can clear his name.
There is so much suspense and action throughout this story. The threat level is high as they are being hunted by both sides of the law and as a result that pages felt like they were turning on their own as I read.
I had moments in the beginning where I wondered if this was going to feel too much like Stockholm Syndrome, because of their interactions early in the kidnapping. But I liked the way things transitioned and by the time they were fighting off their attraction I no longer felt like it was a power imbalance.
As an end to this series, I appreciated seeing Ellis’s siblings and their new significant others. I also loved that they were able to fall back into the close bond they shared before the events that sent all three siblings lives reeling.
Fantastic!
A beautiful and dramatic ending to an amazing trilogy. Ellis and Arianna have an emotional and action packed ride.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy.
Saving the Best for Last!
WOW! Bishop’s Endgame is the third and final book in a trilogy of stand-alone/character-crossover romantic suspense novels – and Katie Reus has saved the best for last! I suppose in all fairness I can’t say for certain that I could choose a favorite from this series; they were all well-developed, fast-paced, and extremely well-written. All three tied for first! ;)
Framed for a murder he didn’t commit, undercover DEA Agent Ellis Bishop has been in hiding for much of the story so far. He’s back with a vengeance; determined to clear his name, get justice for his friend, and expose the corruption within the DEA.
You can’t help but root for Ellis, he’s so obviously a true “good guy”, although his plan for justice could definitely have used a bit more PLAN. Enter Arianna, our heroine: step-daughter of the real killer, but unbeknownst to Ellis, NOT a “bad guy”. Once they get THAT sorted out, things really start to happen. Reus has given us intense characters with undeniable chemistry and a solid plot line upon which to build the romantic arc. Character intensity, top-notch world building, and dialed up heat make this an excellent choice for your next hot (romantic) thriller read!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher, I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Finally we get Ellis's story he has had fleeting appearances in the previous two books and I always wanted his story and now that I have got it I am not disappointed
As always with Katie's books this one flows well is a tight story with plenty of suspense and drama as well as a beautiful love story to keep you engaged until you turn that last page
Ellis was frame by crime boss Vitaly Rodin for a murder he never committed and he has been in hiding ever since determined to clear his name and now he has found the perfect means. He kidnaps Arianna Stavish a kindergarten teacher and step daughter of his nemesis. Arianna hasn't had a good life she is a recovering alcoholic with many tragedies in her past. What will happen when this super protective alpha realises that the woman he has kidnapped is really the woman this is meant for him and how will Arianna react when she finds out what a monster her step father is.
Bishop's Endgame is a nonstop action filled romantic thriller. Ellis is a DEA agent who is being set up for his partners murder by his dirty boss and a crime boss. Third grade teacher Arianna is as innocent as they come despite the fact that the crime boss is her stepfather. But Ellis doesn’t know that. Theirs is not a meet cute but the chemistry is off the charts. Can love develop on the run? Can Arianna help Ellis clear his name? Will they live long enough to find out if there is a chance for them? I chewed my nails to nubs while reading this. Thank goodness for family and friends you can trust and count on. A wonderful end to the trilogy.
Sad that this is the final book in this trilogy, but what a fantastic story to end on. I could't put it down. I love this family and have been really looking forward to Ellis' book and it certainly didn't disappoint. Full of romance and danger, Katie Reus writes amazing romantic suspense!! I enjoyed this book from start to finish and really liked Ellis and Adrianna's characters so much as well as the rest of the cast. This is such an intense story and the perfect journey for these two incredibly strong characters who find a well deserved partner for life in each other.
Ellis Bishop has been MIA during the first two books of this series since he was on the run after being falsely accused of a crime. But now we find out what is really going on. He has been trying to clear his name and take down the enemy so he can move on with his life. His new plan is to kidnap the stepdaughter of the crime boss responsible, but he did not know exactly what he was getting into.
Adrianna Stavish is a teacher. She has had loss in her life and has been a victim. But now she is trying to maintain a healthy path and move on. She barely sees her stepfather.
So when she finds herself the victim of a kidnapping and being accused of being an accomplice to his dirty deeds, she is willing to get mad and to fight...but when she learns the truth, she finds herself wanting to help Ellis and also figure out if they have a mutual enemy.
Thus begins their unexpected adventure trying to figure out what her stepfather's plans are, keep themselves safe, clear his name, and take down the bad guys...of which there were many. And along the way, they are fighting their newfound attraction to each other until they cannot resist. But they know they are on borrowed time and hope for a stable future might be a long shot.
This brings back his siblings and their new significant others, and some of their friends and colleagues. Sometimes one man cannot solve a problem on his own and has to call in favors. Fans of this author will recognize some familiar people. This can be read as a stand-alone but also concludes this trilogy. I liked both Ellis and Arianna. They were smart, strong, brave, and had loving hearts. This installment is full of suspense, tension, passion, and brings together two people that have lived through their own versions of hell and deserve to find some happiness.
What a fantastic way to end this trilogy! I loved all 3 books in this series and I can't really say I enjoyed one over any of the others -- I loved meeting and getting to know the Bishop family so much. I knew I would love Ellis and his story. Adding in Arianna to his journey made it even better. Two strong-willed, brave souls seeking happiness. If you're looking for well-written, well-developed characters with an incredible plot that is intriguing, suspenseful, steamy and romantic, look no further. These books kept me on the edge of my seat and up well into the night. I'll miss these characters but I'm looking forward to whatever Katie has in store for us next! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend to everyone.
Absolutely Sensational .
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy through Netgalley of Bishops End Game .
This is the third and final story in the Endgame trilogy . This is Ellis Bishops story .

Thinking Arianna is just as much a criminal as her stepfather he will use her for leverage . Soon he finds out Arianna is innocent and soon they are helping each other and their attraction to each other is hard to resist . Danger is everywhere and Ellis is still a wanted man . He has to becareful who he trusts . He must keep Arianna safe because she's in just as much danger . Soon everything comes to a head . The FBI are closing in . This story is intense and Suspenseful. A really action packed and interesting , truely outstanding story .
I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Wow!!!!! What a way to wrap up the series. We finally get to learn why Ellis had to hide / go underground. He saw his bestfriend, and undercover DEA agent being killed. Ellis's own boss framed him for the murder, and stole the video showing what really happened. Ellis is forced to investigate, by himself why and how Vitley knew that Carter and Ellis were DEA agents in the first place.
Ariana is a recovering alcoholic who wishes to have little or no contact with her step-father, Vitley married her mom when she was little. Vitley and his crew kept a close eye on Ariana. She was not aware of how / or what Vitley did for a living, just that he was rich and had many homes throughout Florida.
Ellis kidnaps Ariana in front of her AA meeting place parking lot. He suspects her of being involved with her stepfather 's business/drug dealings. After he learns she is innocent....they decide to step a trap for her stepfather, to bring the entire organization down. The action is exciting...I don't want to give the ending away.
This has been one of my favorite series and I couldn't wait for Ellis' book! It did not disappoint. There was danger, mystery, and yes, a great love story with Arianna. I loved both of these characters and their story had me on the edge of my seat from the first page!
Undercover agent Ellis Bishop is on the run after being set up for the death of his partner. He kidnaps Arianna, a crime bosses step-daughter, in the hopes of gaining the information he needs. He doesn’t expect to fall for this kind, caring, and obviously innocent woman.
Arianna is a strong, smart woman and I really liked her. She pulled herself out of her alcoholism and made a new life for herself. Now she is struggling to deal with the revelations about her step-father and her attraction to her kidnapper. I love how caring Arianna is. She quickly realizes Ellis is innocent and doesn’t even question not helping him. She is the perfect woman to help Ellis and win his heart.
"Inside and out, Arianna was this bright star he would do anything to protect."
Ellis was an undercover detective who was thinking about getting out of the game before everything fell apart. He is closed off and single minded at first but quickly relaxes after being around Arianna. I liked how even though he was doing whatever he could to clear his name he didn’t sacrifice his personal rules, like hurting women to get what he wants. Ellis and Arianna had a quick and intense relationship but it worked really well.
I quite enjoyed the conclusion to this series. I hope to see more romantic suspense books from Reus in the future.
Warning: Heroine was raped in the past. Mentioned a few times.

The final book in this wonderful trilogy sees Ellis Bishop trying to clear his name after being framed for murder. He doesn’t go about it in the best way though, he actually adds a real crime to his dossier - kidnap. Believing that sweet third grade teacher Arianna, is actually part of her stepfather’s criminal empire is a stupid assumption on his behalf, and he quickly realises this. The problem is, he has inadvertently put her in the middle of all of her step father’s dodgy dealings. Then of course the feelings and sexual attraction cause lots of unwanted problems and drama. Lots of action, drama, and romance. I love the Bishop siblings, and it has been wonderful reading all their stories. I have been captivated by their stories, all well written, and all keeping me on my toes throughout. All three books can be read as standalones, but I highly recommend reading in order. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.
