I have really enjoyed this trilogy, and this final installment was great! I have been so interested in Ellis from the beginning. This story starts off with lots of action and grips you early on. I really loved how he handled the kidnapping, and it is so apparent that he has a good heart. He and Arianna are great together. I love her strength and how she sees right to the core of him. The plot was interesting and moved quickly. The ending was just what I wanted! We even got some quick cameos of characters from earlier books too! A solid ending to a great series!

Bishop’s Engame is the final book in the trilogy, and highly anticipated as we finally get Ellis Bishop’s story. Framed for a fellow DEA officer, Ellis has been on the run and has a plan to clear his name and get back his life, which includes kidnapping crime boss stepdaughter, Arianna. But as we know, life does not always go according to plan, especially this plan. Arianna actually appears to be innocent of her stepfather’s business, causing Ellis to figure out how to clear his name and keep them both alive.
This fast moving, suspenseful story is full of mystery, drama, and the absolute best romance between the two characters. With a dramatic conclusion to the series, it is one not to be missed.

Looks like I’m the odd one out here, but for me Bishop’s Endgame was a disappointing ending to a series that did kick-off with promise. Ellis and Arianna just didn’t do it for me, granted they got their HEA and the ongoing story was wrapped up, however on the whole this series sadly fell into the abyss with each book.

It doesn’t mean that I won’t read more from Katie Reus, when she gets it right she does indeed get it right, but this was clearly not the series for me.

Framed for a murder he didn’t commit, Ellis Bishop has been in hiding since the start of the Endgame trilogy, working quietly behind the scenes to clear his name. Needless to say, Ellis’ story has been building since the start and I had high expectations for him! And while I didn’t expect Ellis to make the decision to kidnap Arianna under the ridiculous set of circumstances he did, I’ll be darned if it didn’t work out fantastically well!

I really enjoyed Ellis and Arianna’s interactions. Their awareness of one another was obvious from the start while the attraction gradually built up steam. The “will they, won’t they” scenes were my favorite, because I didn’t know if it would be THAT moment when Ellis and Arianna both caved in and the anticipation was so much fun!

The rest of storyline was also pretty solid. At some points, I felt the evidence and investigations pushed the romance into the back seat, but it all worked out for the greater good. I also loved seeing previous characters from the Redstone Security series filling in a few pertinent positions, making it a new level of interest to see old favorites. Overall, this was a fab ending to a thrilling series!

I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley and this is my honest review.

If your endgame of a romantic tale is a very steamy read featuring a good guy hero getting the girl and his name cleared after being set up, this book may be just what you are looking for.

As usual, this author gives us a main couple we can’t help but root for as they get to know each other emotionally and physically, as they stumble into love. With Arianna, mainly because she’s open to do the right thing and doesn’t put her head in the sand. Once she’s got your back, it’s for good, folks. Ellis doesn’t need much of an introduction. He’s the model of a good guy leading man this author is well known for.

There’s really not a whole lot more to elaborate on here. At 203 pages, this was a quick read and fits right into place among the other two stand-alone but linked books of this series. The writing did feel a tad mechanical at times and heavier on the steam than I expected, but I still enjoyed the overall romantic plot of these two destined for each other lovebirds.

Title: Bishop’s Endgame, Series: Endgame Trilogy (Book 3), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 203, stand-alone but part of a series, wrongly accused good guy hero, grade school teacher heroine, has a criminal stepdad, very graphic, detailed smex scenes, reference to past rape, criminal mob backdrop.

Book 1 - Bishop’s Knight
Book 2 - Bishop’s Queen
Book 3 - Bishop’s Endgame

I really wanted to love the story because the last two have been leading up to What happened to Ellis. I am not sure the beginning was a little annoying because the Ellis isn't the bag guy and he really plays a really bad bad guy to the point it is almost laughable that Arianna didn't try to escape.

The story flows well and readers will love the conclusion to the Endgame Trilogy. Katie Reus is able to being suspense romance and sexy time into her stories will keeping reader wanting more from the characters they have connected to.

Thank you to KP Publishing for the advance copy of Katie Reus Bishop Endgame

Thrilling, suspenseful, intriguing and romantic! This book has a terrific story which was everything I could have hoped for. It held my interest throughout the entire book, and contained a bit of a more than a few genres. Such as erotic romance, adventure, thriller, romantic suspense, mystery and intrigue. The Hero was definitely a hot alpha male, but despite kidnapping the heroine, he is a good guy just doing his best in awful circumstances. The Hero is Ellis Bishop, the first two books in this series centered around his siblings Evie and then Evan. So you can read this book as a part of a series or as a stand-alone. I have not yet read the first two books but didn’t feel like I was missing anything at all. The book starts out with Ellis, an undercover DEA agent finding out that his best friend and partner was had been called in to meet the local crime boss without knowing his cover had been blown. Ellis is unable to save his friend and ends up being framed for the murder, even though he saw the crime boss, Vitaly pull the trigger. Ellis has a hacker friend named Lizzy who is trying to help him clear his name, as well as a few members of his family. Ellis ends up running for his life and trying to clear his name. In the process of looking into Vitaly, Ellis finds that he has a stepdaughter named Arianna, who is part of the organization. He finds that she has several large bank accounts in her name in the Caymans and Europe. So he kidnaps her in order to force her to close out the accounts and force a meeting with her stepfather. However Arianna is nothing like he expected and things get messy from there. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but to say that during the time Ellis and Arianna are together an attraction complicates things. This isn’t insta-love but it does happen by around 50% of the books, and in days they have known each other it is fairly fast, but we all know from the movies that relationships can occur fairly quickly during intense experiences. The heat level in this book I’d pretty high, I would say 4 out of five flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥. World building and character development are great, but it was written by Katie Reus so that is to be expected. Overall I really enjoyed the book. I love a good thriller/erotic romance! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Fab ending to a the series!

Ellis has been on the run for some time, since he was named as the person responsible for his best friends death. He had evidence he was framed but it seems to have been taken by another mole within the DEA. He has a lead to take down the bad guy, he just needs to manipulate said bad guy's step-daughter.

Arianna was never too sure what her step-father was involved in. But after the death of her brother and mother, she has distanced herself from him. But now she seems to have been pulled right back into his orbit. A handsome fugitive thinks she has the key to what he needs to prove her step-dad is dirty. But she is just a primary school teacher - she knows nothing about off-shore banking!

Arianna has flaws and she embraces them. She knows she is responsible for her own behaviour, but also that she was not responsible for the assault on her. Ellis is a great kidnapper and even Arianna realised that he did more to keep her safe than to scare her!

I'm really sad to see the Bishops go! Please bring them back, even for a cameo appearance in another series!

This story and end to the series had everything and more in it that I wanted. Ellis is on the run, he is trying to do clear his name and solve the murder of his friend and partner. He needs Arianna’s help and he is ‘t convinced that she isn’t involved. Arianna just wants to get away from the mad man that has kidnapped her and keeps trying to say she has millions of dollars in a hidden account she has never heard of.

Fantastic story so happy I read this series.

This is the first book I’ve read by Katie Reus, but after finishing this book, I’ll definitely be reading more. Even though this is the last in the trilogy, I didn’t feel as if I was missing anything as they are all set around the same time. It was fast paced, action filled, funny at times. Great characters. Have just purchased the first book in this series. Highly recommend

Slow burn, steamy and crazy action right off the bat in this third and last installment of the Bishop trilogy. Ellis Bishop was a DEA agent framed for murder. He’s trying to clear his name anyway he can even if it doesn’t sit well with his conscience. Arianna is kidnapped by Ellis to get to her stepfather. They both realize things are not what they seem. They definitely saved the best for last.Action packed, suspenseful and a great way to end this series.

Ellis and Arianna's story was so good! Ellis is everything I love in a hero. He's super protective and when his feelings for Arianna started to grow, he didn't push her away. He kidnaps her in the beginning because he thinks she is part of her stepfathers organization. The fact that he felt so bad when he realized she was innocent just shows his good character.

Arianna is a third grade school teacher who happens to be a recovering alcoholic with several traumatic events in her past. She's the sweet heroine you expect of an elementary teacher, but with a spine and strength you also expect from someone who has dealt with tragedy. I liked her. For a main couple, these two were easy to root for.

I'm a bit sad to see this trilogy is over. I enjoyed each book and all the side characters we got to know, especially the cameo's from another series. Great romantic suspense series!

An amazing ending to the Endgame trilogy. I kind of love the captive by the “bad” but really good guy scenario. I am always thrilled when I see a new Katie Reus book coming out because I love romantic suspense and this story is so good. I thought Evan’s story would be my favorite (you know, brooding hero) but Ellis really wowed me. Arianna was not “oh my, I’ve been kidnapped what am I to do?” but instead she stood up for herself and her referring to him has “kidnapper” had me laughing out loud. Ellis and Arianna’s relationship is beautiful and lovely. Great book, great series.

Finally...the third book on this trilogy. It’s seems like I’ve been waiting ages for this. But I’m nothing if not patient lol.

We’ve had snippets of Ellis throughout the other two books. But this is where we find out what really happened.

Framed for a murder he didn’t commit. Ellis has been months hiding and trying to clear his name. With no other option available he kidnaps Arianna Stavish. Her stepfather is Vitaly Rodin the crime boss responsible for the murder in question.

Arianna is not who Ellis expects. She actually is a third grade teacher. As opposed to the money hungry woman funnelling millions into offshore accounts.

And the race is on...
They need to prove his innocence before Arianna gets hurt.

This was a good end to this trilogy.

Terrific writing. I just love Ellis and Arianna. Arianna is funny, feisty and strong. She’s been through so much in her 25 years. Ellis is such a great character. He is a gentle giant that has a huge heart which you wouldn’t expect from an undercover DEA agent. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Bishop's Endgame, is just as filled with suspense as the first two books in the series. I truly enjoyed reading it. Ellis is a great guy. A true gentleman, yet he's not a push over by no means. I like that he can say when he's wrong.

Awesome read! The suspense was intense. Arianna is a bundle of contradictions. Peeling back her layers reveals a survivor. Loved her strength and vulnerability.

4.5⭐

Bishop's Endgame, the last book in the Endgame Trilogy, and the one I've been waiting for was a brilliant read. That was fast-paced, and built perfectly to an explosive finish. As DEA Agent Ellis Bishop, whose on the run after being set up for the murder of his best friend, partner and fellow agent, finally finds a way to get revenge and answers; and more importantly clear his name. And with the help unwillingly at first off Arianna the step-daughter of the man who murdered his friend. As well as a couple of Ellis's friends and closest family. This became a literal game of cat and mouse, with plenty of danger and suspense. Especially with numerous DEA agents on the take, and every agency out to capture Ellis and anyone who helps him.

Which did make for a gripping story, with an interesting and engaging romance set in the midst of it all. And honestly, I had a tough time putting it down. Which is why I would definitely recommend it to others, particularly if you're a fan of the series.

Yesss, finally we find out what is happening with Ellis. After Evie's and Evan's stories, I kept wondering why Ellis was being framed for murder. And now I know! After Ellis his partner and best friend was shot before his own eyes, he decided to run to avoid ending up in jail. Because he is setup, so it looks like he killed his partner.
To avenge himself and to clear his name, he decides to kidnap the daughter of a mafia boss.
But soon he finds out that maybe Arianna is not what she seems. And also Arianna starts to understand that Ellis is no coldblooded murderer, who will hurt her. Together, they try to find out who is behind all this and why. But when Arianna has to chose between her family and her - very gorgeous and did I mention hot - kidnapper, things twist and turn. Suspense, humour and drama. All wrapped up in this final book of the series. And yay! Also Evie and Evan make their appearances, so it is also a trip down memory lane. Love it! Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Great conclusion to this trilogy. Loved Ellis and Arianna's relationship. They were a slow burn, and neither one of them worked to hard to avoid it. It was great to Ellis finally clear his name and reunite with his family. Her family was nasty.
