I always have a lot of fun when I read stories set in Cat’s Paw Cove as they're entertaining and engrossing.
This one was no exceptions and it made me laugh and root for the well thought characters.
The plot flows and the setting is as lovely as usual.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Abby is in town taking care of her cousin’s pottery studio while she’s in her honeymoon. Seems like a fairly simple task that also involves looking after a and odd magical kitten named Scarlett. On her first day on the job however things quickly go awry because Abby, though non magical herself Abby has a curse. If she says the word “ love” electrical/mechanical problems occur all around her. Despite her best efforts she can’t get rid of the curse and has mostly given up on ridding herself of it. An accidental slip has her frying the power at the pottery shop so in comes Beau the hot electrician. Who upon seeing Abby finds saying anything remotely intelligent sounding impossible. Around pretty girls his stutter acts up so he’s use to getting looked down on for it. However he can talk to Scarlett because he has the magic ability to talk to cats. And Scarlett? She’s most definitely a meddler and tries to push the two together. It’s your classic two lonely souls who feel like outcasts finding each other unexpectedly and finding the love they never thought they could have. A short and sweet love story with a little bit of magic.

Another sugary sweet story in the Cat's Paw Cove series. This time we get the story of Abby Blessing and Beau Grayson. Neither of them are looking for a relationship but one sly cat and a doll have other plans for these two. Abby was cursed 2 years ago and every time she utters the word Love an electrical malfunction happens. She does not think love will ever be in her future. Beau is unable to talk to women that he feels are beautiful. He loses his words and stutters. When these two meet its sparks like none other, literally. This was a very cute love story but the real winner of the story was Scarlett and her "tortitude" and her need to steal from the town.

I can not wait to continue my journey in Cat's Paw Cove.

Thank you to netgalley and CPC Publishing for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Magical Blessings tells of the healing power of self-confidence. Believing in yourself allows others to believe in you too. Abby and Beau each needed to learn this for different reasons but when the lesson is learned they could fall for each other. This is a sweet story with an important lesson and an adorable teacher.

A big thank you to NetGalley and CPC Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, but reads well as a stand alone. It's a cute story about finding love with the help of cats, and dolls. To be honest the doll sort of creeped me out! There's a little magic in the air. 3 star

Abby has been cursed by a witch. Now whenever she says the word “love” there follows a list of electrical malfunctions. Her cousin has just got married and she's supposed to run the pottery shop. That should be safe enough, no electricals but the till to deal with. Right? But it seems the curse is evolving and now she just has to think the L word and catastrophes happen.

Enter Beau, best Electrician in Cats Paw Cove but also the worst businessman! He hates asking for money and if it's only a small job or looking over something he doesn't cahrge at all. THis is not the way to keep himself in business and his competitors out of town. But his sideline in talkign to cats is about to come in handy. Scarlett seems to have become a klelptomaniac and she is stealing from all over town. He and Abby bond over dealing with Scatlett. But can he get Abby to see past the curse and see that he might be just what she is missing?

Scarlett is stealing the show - just about! She is a right little madam. Abby had all sorts of plans she didn't want interrupted by the L word, but now she can't say it about the most innocusous things without causing havoc! She soon sees that Beau's slight awkwardness with her is due to his inability to speak around beautiful women - think Raj from TBBT. Sweet little read with a side order of snarky cat!

I want to move to Cat’s Paw Cove. It is such a wonderful place, with wonderful residents. Beau and Abby were adorable. And who doesn’t love a matchmaking cat? This series always make me happy. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really like these Cat's Cove books. They are light sweet romances with a touch a magic and of course cats! If you want some in depth, deep, philosophical story this is not it. But a thoroughly enjoyable read it is.
