An engaging romantic story, Glamorous, like you, expect from a Mills and Boon Modern, but with a strong emotional theme. The heroine copes with a less than idyllic parents, and the legacy of a terrible accident. Orla's love for her son and her stepsister is believable and heartwarming. They drive her actions, as she copes with amnesia after a car accident, three years previously. The second unexpected meeting, between Tonino and Orla, is cleverly written, with undercurrents of guilt, passion and surprise. The gradual reveal of Orla's memory culminates in a last poignant revelation that motivates her to seek her happy ever after.
Tonino is revengeful, to begin with, but avoids the stereotypical billionaire forcing the heroine, to his way of thinking. His character development and insight is refreshing and relatable and makes this story special. The inclusiveness of the story is also notable and welcome.
Passion meets parenting in a contemporary realistic way.
I received a copy of this story from Mills and Boon in return for an honest review.
This book features Orla and Tonino’s story and that of their son Finn. I hadn’t read the previous book about Orla’s sister Aislin and although that didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the book, I felt I would have liked to read that first - I may yet go back and download it!
This was an emotional read, with Orla’s fight back to health after her accident and Finn having CP but I felt it was sensitively handled and, overall, a few hours well spent. Just what I look for in a M&B Modern romance.

Really enjoyed this
I drawn into this from the start and read in one go
I liked the addition of a disabled child - it made it more real
I enjoyed this book and it had times where it did make me smile!
Orla had an accident when pregnant resulting in severe injuries, amnesia and her giving birth 3 months early. It was also discovered that her baby, Finn, had cerebral palsy and suffered from epilepsy. This is the first time I have read a book where a character had cerebral palsy so I don’t know if the depiction is right but I could feel the love that Orla had for her son and that she would do anything to protect him
Tonino is Finns father but until she sees him again at her sisters wedding Orla doesn’t remember him. I found Tonino a much harder character to deal with, he is so untrusting of Orla but at the same time he became more endearing to me as I found out more about him and his motivations, what drives his behaviours which led to me routing for him!
Set between Ireland and Sicily with some amazing locations and a private jet thrown in this book caught my attention and it did justice to its surroundings
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a romance that doesn’t always have a smooth path but which also has characters, especially Finn, who you will fall in love with
I enjoyed this book, it bought in the aspect of having a disabled child and the challenges that presented.
When Orla first meets Tonino she is swept away in a romantic dream but when his fiance turns up and threatens her, she runs back to Ireland. Tragedy happens and Orla is injured in a car accident, with no memory she doesn't know who the father of her baby is.
When fate later steps in, Orla is thrown back into Tonino's path and he discovers the child he never knew he had. He is instantly enamoured by his son and sets about winning them both over to become his family.
A romantic story of finding and recognising great love, maliciously being informed of a lie of big deception, leading to a break up.
A serious accident, amnesia, a baby, rehabilitation, recovery. A chance reconnection at a wedding that sets in motion a rediscovery of strong passionate love. Overcoming all the past hurts and misunderstandings to venture into love.
With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story.
This covers the sensitive issue of a child who has a disability, which I felt was asking a lot of such a short romance. My personal feeling is that a longer book could have delved into the challenges more deeply. Otherwise, I found the book well written.

A beautifully written story that shows that every life isn't perfect.
The author wove into the story the delicate topic of having a child who suffers with a debilitating disability. She addressed the topic of cerebral palsy with a sensitive touch .
Although there was the usual angst between the hero and heroine throughout the story, it was their love for their son that made you feel invested in their characters.
The author dealt with a number of issues through the book beautifully and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
Orla O’Reilly met billionaire Tonino Valente when she went to Sicily to meet her father. She ran back to Ireland when she was told by Sophia Tonino was engaged to her. She was was pregnant and involved in a major car accident. Both Orla and her little boy, Finn, suffered major injuries - he now has cerebral palsy. She also suffers from amnesia and can’t remember who the father of her baby is. She meets Tonino at a wedding and the memories come flooding back. Tonino is determined to be a hands on father so they move to Sicily. Will Orla be able to overcome her trust issues and realise she loves Tonino? The epilogue of the novel will tell all.
This is the first novel written by Michelle Smart that I haven’t enjoyed. I just couldn’t relate to either the storyline or main characters. The characters didn’t seem to gel or have any chemistry of any kind. Not my favourite novel this month.

I thought this book flowed really well and I liked both the heroine and the hero, which helped me invest in the story. Both did their best in quite difficult circumstances and while both acted in ways that could be criticised in retrospect, their actions were understandable given the situation they were in at the time - her hiding her pregnancy, his anger when he meets her again at the wedding.
A lovely, romantic read - off to find her sister's story now.
