Her Billionaire Protector is written by Nina Singh and published by M&B True Love. Adam Steele is the CEO of a security company. His newest client, Ani Terrance is an up and coming pianist who used to be his little sister’s childhood friend. She is all grown up and nothing like he remembered. Will he risk his heart for her?
This is a gentle romance. There aren’t any great, ground breaking hidden secrets or relevations. The romance evolves as Ani travels to glamour destinations to perform so there are interesting descriptive scenes which caught my interest. There aren’t any sizzling sex scenes the chemistry is more on a emotional level.

This was a very calming and heart-warming story with my favourite fake-relationship trope - a truly relaxing read during the first weeks of lockdown. The continuing mystery piqued my interest and it was wonderful to read about more diverse characters!

A gently paced friends to lovers/forbidden romance, with an original setting and sizzling chemistry between Ani and Adam.

The setting and background of this story take the reader to glamorous places. Ani, a concert pianist is giving a couple of solos concerts in Europe. The possibility she may have a stalker necessitates her overprotective brother calling in the best to protect her. That’s Adam, the CEO of an A list security firm and his best friend. Adam has always hidden his feelings for Ani, his best friends sister, but now she successful and stunning, and he is on close protection duty.

The chemistry created between the couple is conflicted but intense. They become emotionally involved quickly due to their past connection. Even though Adam knows he is overstepping professional boundaries, his attraction is too real to ignore. Ani has always loved Adam on some level. Now she wants a relationship with him. He resists for professional reasons and personal fears, but she knows what she wants.

The romance is gentle moving to passionate when they are close. This is a closed-door romance, but it doesn’t stop it being full of passion and seemingly insurmountable internal conflict.

A simple plot and glitzy setting, with a hint of danger, and an intense romance, the perfect escapist read.

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

I enjoyed this romance. I loved the pianist/bodyguard setup and liked both characters - particularly Ani.

The stories about Billionaires are coming thick and fast - surely there aren't that many about? However, they are always reluctant to wed as they suspect that women are after their money and this is quite often the case true.
and titles are getting very repetitive - go on Amazon and you'll find at least 2 other books with the same title.
So this is another book with a Steele in this and here we have a Security consultant and a piano diva he needs to protect. Being a sister of a friend leads Adam into the quagmire of protect or seduce and if seduce will this get him into trouble with his friend?
Nicely written if not great literature with the usual problems that are found int this genre. Mills and Boon rarely disappoint.

With Ani about to embark on her first international tour her brother and her father are worried that she may be being targeted by a stalker, so they hire the services of childhood friend Adam Steele.

When Adam meets Ani again he is immediately taken by her and must try to fight his attraction whilst ensuring he can protect her against any potential danger.

An easy but quite predictable read.

This book caught my attention right from the beginning.
Ani is a brilliant pianist and is about to set out on her first tour but there is a problem, she has been getting strange emails from a stalker and her family is freaking out. They decide to hire her a bodyguard and the person they chose is her brothers friend and her crush from school, Adam
I loved Ani as a character, she has class, elegance and an amazing talent but she is also incredibly insecure which makes her human and feeling so real she jumped off the page
I struggled a lot more with Adam, he is so determined that he knows what is best and right and doesn’t seem to have much flex which annoyed me. The more I learned about his backstory the more I became to like him but then he would do something that put me back a bit. By the end though I did like him and ended up on his side a few times!
This is a well written story with a few surprise twists and turns and no explicit details which I know appeal to some readers but also which fitted perfectly with this story
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a love story with a difference and a heroine who you will love

Unacknowledged longing from them both emerges in this romantic story about a budding pianist superstar and a security expert, her brothers long time best friend.

An attraction that has always simmered in the background, but can no longer remain unrecognised and ignored.

A story about love, need, commitment and honesty.

With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story.

Her Billionaire Protector

Oh this was so boring. Like ploughing through treacle.

Sorry but whilst the initial premise sounded really interesting, the execution was pedestrian and predictable.

Adam and Anikita (and who made up that name?) are brought together when her father and brother employ him to protect her following suspicious messages from a stalker. They knew each other years ago but haven’t seen each other since she was 16. She’s now 26 and a concert. pianist. Ani doesn’t take the messages seriously and treats Adam in such a juvenile way it made my teeth grind.

The sex is behind closed doors and Adam beats himself up for having sex with her and thinks her brother would have the right to punch him. What? It was mutual, he didn’t abuse her, she’s 26 not 16. The barriers to them having a relationship were so contrived as to be ridiculous.

I just found this whole story so lacklustre and I lost interest and ended up skim reading - never a good sign. I could not engage with the characters at all.

Sorry , it’s a 2 star read for me.
