Light-hearted and easy read to get into, perfect if you want some escapism. The characters are all ok, it was a nice pleasant read, but not one I would rave about to recommend.
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.
While I read some chick lit novels, I felt this one was a little outside my expertise. It's a sassy interpretation of women going through different stages of their lives even though they are the same age. One a married mother, one wanting to be a mother and one who has no inclination of settling down.
Sounds a bit cliche?
Maybe, but Tabitha Webb approaches each of these women's lives with an open mind, they come across situations which, although I personally saw them as unnecessary, they lent some humour and life-lessons for the reader.
My favourite thing about the narrative was how equally each woman was followed, I didn't feel like I knew one better than the other but I guess the downside of this is that you don't fully connect with the characters - this could possibly be my age too! I'm early thirties so the idea that getting to forty is some kind of dead-end isn't something I can relate too! Give me a few years and I might tell you something different!
Either way, I found this a light-hearted and easy to read book which gave me some much needed escapism. It's is recommended for lovers of Bridget Jones, Sex & the City etc which I would definitely agree with! The friendship shown in the narrative is funny, with the interactions being very easy-going and familiar which gives a nice rapport between characters. I think I would have liked to have gotten more information from some of the male view points to give a more rounded narrative.
Not what I expected but none the less an enjoyable romp. Three friends are around 40 and new lives begin for all of them. Different reasons mean they need to make big changes but support each other
This was an enjoyable and easy read. 3 friends around the age of 40 with totally different lives. Stella, married with 2 children stuck in a mum rut. Dixie, work orientated looking to live life to the fullest with no restraints. Ana settled with her good on paper man Rex trying for a baby to complete her good on paper life. They all seem like they have the perfect life on the outside but each are dealing with struggles that they try to keep hidden.
I really enjoyed the easy going nature of this book. There were quite a few belly laugh moments from the group. Overall a nice easy light hearted story guaranteed to give you a few laughs along the way
3.5🌟

I really enjoyed the banter in this book. There were quite a few belly laugh moments from the group. It gave me definate Sex In The City vibes especially Dixie she's got a real Samantha thing going on and her love interest reminded me of Mr Big. I just found some bits a bit too far fetched and would have loved a bit more depth from certain aspects of the story. Overall a nice easy light hearted story guaranteed to give you a few laughs along the way
No Regrets is a fun summer read for fans of Sex and the City and Dawn O’Porter’s The Cows.
Best friends Stella, Ana and Dixie have been there for each other through thick and thin. But, as they approach their 40s, they each find themselves at a turning point. Despite thinking they’d have everything figured out by this age, they actually all have decisions to make about their careers, parenthood and relationships. As the blurb tells us:
Stella loves her children, but misses her glittering career. Plus she can’t even remember the last time she had sex.
Ana is trying for a baby with her partner Rex. So why can’t she stop thinking about the one that got away?
Dixie is the wildest of them all. A Tinder addict who’ll never settle down. But has she accidentally found Mr Right…?
Whilst I didn’t find any of the three particularly relatable, I did enjoy the friendship between the women and how this was both challenged and re-enforced as they each tackled their own problems. The three perspectives gave the book lots of momentum, making it a quick read once you’ve got to know the characters in the first 50 pages or so.
Not for the faint-hearted, the book includes a fair bit of sex and a lot of banter between the friends. Some of the comments they made to each other made them less relatable to me (I can’t imagine jovially calling my friends ‘the bitches’, for example!) but it gave the friendship group a clear identity and sense of humour.
The ending wraps up relatively neatly – making this a good read for if you want a bit of escapism – but I would have loved Stella’s feelings about her sexuality to have been explored further and for her to have opened up to her husband about this. I can’t help but think that the happy ending wouldn’t last too long! Perhaps we will see a sequel at some point in the future…

I was hoping this would be a fun, escapist bonkbuster and whilst the plot was highly entertaining - if very far-fetched - with a super hot rockstar - I just felt the pacing and writing style didnt grab me enough. I feel awful saying this but I didn't think it was very well written compared to say, Tilly Bagshawe or Rebecca Chance.
A okay read but I probably wouldn't read another by this author.
The lives of modern 30-something women depicted quite perfectly in this book! You know or can relate to these women trying to juggle the work/social life. It’s a relatable and funny laugh out loud book!
This book followed 3 women, friends since childhood who are now in their 40s. I can't say I warmed to any of the characters and thought the ending predictable. It was a light fun read however that required little concentration. I am always irritated by small errors that are easily checked though. Saying they were heading east when flying London to New York and that the time difference is 6 hours were two examples.
Why does everyone else seem to have it together? Not Stella. Loving her life but feeling as if she is missing part of herself. Roller-coaster of marriage motherhood and friendship. When your best friends are always there life can only change and improve.
The story follows a group of friends - Stella, Ana and Dixie-as they approach their forties and look at how their lives have changed, and how the bonds of the past still keep them close. This is a light-hearted book with the theme of friendship at its core. It's an easy summer read for fans of a light female centred story with a neat ending!
I enjoyed this book. It’s funny and light hearted. It made me snigger a good few times. With these troubled times we find ourselves in this book is a good one to read. I could also associate with all of the characters as well, as they are all getting to the end of their 30’s. It reminded me of my friends and I at that age. I absolutely love the cover of this book as well. It’s so bright and cheerful.
Meet Stella, Dixie and Ana. They have been best friends for a very long time. We meet them as they are all approaching the big four zero. Where they all realise that they aren’t really in the places they expected to be in.
Stella is a stay at home mother, She spends most of her time running around after her family. Wishing she was more like the other mum’s who seem to manage family life effortlessly.
Her husband has made her get rid of the paid help and she is struggling even more than she did before. Stella however has other ideas about getting new help, she’s actually thinking of pinching someone’s nanny. Along with hopes of going back to work and being a bit more glanderous.
One day when she’s at the park with the kids. She becomes friends with Coco a young nanny. She finds Coco a breath of fresh air and she’s also introducing Stella to some new experiences.
Ana is in a relationship with the most boring man, but on paper he is just the sort of man to settle down with. He has a decent job, he’s reliable, caring and not bad looking. Ana has decided that now is the time to start trying for a family as she’s so desperate for a baby.
Ana has also decided that she wants to speed up the process, so they pay to go and see a private specialist. Just to make sure everything is working. It turns out that Rex is the one that is going to cause them problems in conceiving. So they pay for one round of fertility treatment. Which then starts making Ana wonder if she really is with the right man. Due to her having fertility injections her hormones are all over the place. So no matter what Rex does she finds him irritating and he constantly gets her back up. Which in turn Makes her think about Joel her now famous ex boyfriend. Everywhere she goes his music is playing or he’s on the TV, she can’t get away from him and their past.
Dixie is the wild a child of the bunch. She’s single has a good job. She gets to travel with her job too, as she manages her bosses properties which are all over the place. She’s also on Tinder and has numerous one night stands and has no intentions of stopping any time soon, as she’s not going to ever get married.
On one particular flight to New York Dixie gets upgraded on her flight and ends up with her cabin near a really cute guy. She ends up getting a bit tipsy and ends up telling him things that she never tells anyone. She total forgets to update he Tinder account with new photos of herself. So she could hook up with some cute New York guys.
Dixie doesn’t tell the girls anything about Freddie the next time she meets up with them as he has her in a spin. Which has never happened to her before. It’s like she is under his spell.
When she does mention him though she ends up asking the girls over to the Hamptons to celebrate Freddie’s Birthday. Where things don’t go quite as expected.
Stella gets blind drunk and tells them what is really going on in her life. Dixie and Freddie set up Ana with her famous ex, which lead to unexpected things. Then the rich wives of Freddie’s friends pull a fast one on Dixie and everything comes tumbling down.
Will the girls get their lives back on track? They may do eventually with some great hilarity along the way.
If you need a good laugh and some escape then this book is for you.
I was really excited for this, the cover totally sold it to me. It looked bright and exciting and was described as hilarious and sassy. Unfortunately I found the sexual content a bit too much and not totally necessary. Now I’m not against it at all in a book, but it just didn’t do it for me - no pun intended 😂
The storyline I thought had huge potential and I loved following the characters and what was going to happen next, it was predictable in ways but that’s fine. My negative really was the amount of sexual references.
Enjoyable read. Would recommend to friends and family. I could sympathise with characters (important for any fiction novel!) and looked forward to picking it up and reading the next few chapters! Interesting plot line and a good ending. Will look out for more novels by the author. Thank you.
What can I say...... I absolutely loved this book! It was relatable, hilariously funny and super sexy, with plenty of steaminess!!!
This gave me Sex and The City vibes (which I’m a massive fan of) and I really enjoyed witnessing the no nonsense, true friendship these three women had.
Such a perfect summer read. If you enjoyed ‘So Lucky’ by Dawn O’Porter as I did, you will love ‘No regrets’.
I find it so hard to believe that this is Tabitha Webb’s debut novel. I adored her writing style and this book has left me wanting to see so much more from her. In fact a sequel would be amazing Tabitha!!!
A five star read for me!!!
Thanks to Netgalley and HQ for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Not for me, unfortunately. I can be very picky with books that come under the moniker of 'chick-lit' and this just seemed to resemble a lot of books that I picked up, read the first page of, and then immediately put down again. There is definitely an audience for this kind of low-level, low impact, 'fun' kind of book, but I am not that person.
Meet Stella, Ana and Dixie, best friends and true soul mates. Approaching their 40's, they are each questioning their life choices.
Stella, married with two boys, feels frumpy and unfulfilled. She wants to feel alive again, and when she forms a friendship with Coco, a beautiful and young nanny, she is confused and curious about the growing attraction between them. Add to that, the betrayal of her husband Jake, Stella knows that something has to change drastically if their marriage is to continue.
Ana is trying to have a baby with Rex, but deep down she knows she isn't in love with him, and that her heart still belongs to the one who got away, Joel Abelard
Dixie, self-confessed wild child and commitment-phobe, is shocked when she meets Freddie Eastman and falls fast and hard for him. Is he too good to be true?
As each woman embarks on a journey of self-discovery they will have to deal with some difficult truths, some arguments and some heartbreak. But, when all is said and done, they stick to their belief that it is better to live a life of no regrets and following their hearts will lead to a wonderful next chapter in each of their lives. Witty, warm and a wonderful escape, loved it.
This was a fun and dare I saw raunchy book!
The characters made this book, each with their own unique personalities and struggles. I found myself quite invested in their own stories and how it would all end up. I liked that each got their own chapters so that we could focus more on their lives and what was happening, although please be warned there is quite a lot of sex throughout this book!
This book was incredibly well written and I generally liked the plot to the book with three best friends who are struggling to come to terms with the fact that they are coming up for forty.
However I did find myself some parts of the book unrealistic, with them jetting off to New York whenever with no real explanation on how, especially with Stella who has just found out some bad news. There is no real thought to her children and no one can just up and jet off to New York when they like. There is a lot involved with this decision and it all happened so quickly.
I wasn’t a fan of how everything seemed to just wrap up nicely at the end. There was a lot that went on at the end of the book and with a click of the fingers everything was fixed. I also feel like Stella’s feelings with her own sexuality could have been dealt with a bit differently and explored a lot deeper rather.
Overall, this was a very light-hearted with friendship at its core. This is definitely a good summer read for those who are a fan of chick-lit!
Thank you to NetGalley and HQ for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
This is quite a comical book about 3 women who have been through many trials and tribulations together.
Dixie is loving her life being single having fun with no intention of stopping. She is heavily into Tinder.
Ana and Rex who are desperate to get pregnant, but feel time is running out.
And Stella with whom the book starts, the first few pages about a toddler, shopping trolley and chocolate were hilarious.
3 friends and their lives, with a generous dash of raunchy and a lot of laughs.
It kept me amused for a while.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. xx

I just couldn't stick with this one. This is written like the worst kind of chick lit, it's the kind of book that gives chick lit a bad name. The characters were blah, their story lines read like a story from the 90s where they were all obsessed with looks and the sex sounds like it was written by a 14 year old who hasn't had sex yet.
