This is my first erotic graphic novel to put my hands on. Oh Boy. This is pretty graphic. It might not be everybody cup of tea but I liked it. There is a story behind all the sex.
I voluntarily reviewed this ARC. The opinions expressed here are all mine. Thanks Netgalley and the publisher.

This was actually really cute and fun, and the art style was well suited to the content! It reads like a delightful fever dream, half wish fulfillment and half break-up recovery story, which surprisingly worked well together. I don't really know how to describe this book other than 'fun if you like video games and are also horny, but also if you're horny and have recently broken up with someone.' If video game characters and sex sound like your kind of vibe, pick this up! I promise you'll love it.

I would never have expected to find such a sweet, warm-hearted story in a porn comic. This book has a great plot about recovering confidence and self-esteem after a break-up which I really enjoyed.
Honestly, I hadn't expected quite so much sex, maybe just a subtle scene here and there. So if you're not comfortable with full-on porn, don't go for this book. However, if that is what you're looking for, this one has a great storyline and plenty of great conversations navigating consent and safer sex.

Graphic means graphic in all manners of the definition with this graphic novel. This was my first experience of a erotic graphic novel and I really expected to be eased into it but nope there was a fairly intense sex scene on the first page!
I liked the fact it was a gay relationship and that Kennedy wasn’t a ripped conventional character. The storyline was intriguing and like nothing I’d read before covering the fantasy realms as well as human!

So much fun! This *graphic* novel follows our Player One, Ken, as he confronts heartbreak in a Jumanji-style video game sequence. With fantastic art, hilariously bad puns, and many clever nods to gaymer culture, Cheater Code is sure to be a hit. Major props for having a motivating story arc and for that Fogtown sequence! Rated M for Mature; joystick required. Thanks to NetGalley, Oni Press, and S.A. Foxe for the ARC!

This Adult graphic novel follows Kenny on a journey through a video game he has been pulled into during a power surge.
Pre power surge, Kenny walks in on his boyfriend of six years having sex with someone else. This throws his life completely off balance, so his boyfriend temporarily moves out. This is when all the fun starts.
Kenny is sucked into a video game that he believes to only be a dream. He meets some amazing characters, has even more amazing sex, and discovers what he will and won't accept in the real world.
In between all of the amazing sex, he is facing glitches in the game that want to erase him from existence. During each of his sexual experiences he learns just a little more about what he likes and who he is.
I have to say, one of my favorite parts happened when he met his video game avatar. He was a better looking version of him, and we were just able to see what he wished he could be. THEN!!!! He has sex with himself and it is so freaking amazing!! In the book, his avatar actually says something about the psychology paper that could be written about that scene, and a previous psychology major I LOVED it!!
I love love loved Kenny's hero speech when standing up to the video game version of his ex-boyfriend. That's when you see all of his growth. It was just overall a great moment!!
And finally, I loved the HEA ending. Telling his Ex he forgives him but needs to move on was so perfect. I swear, it made me smile so hard to see him change from the man from the beginning, who originally begged for his ex to stay!!

Poor Ken, gets cheated on then dumped whilst having a fist fumble he gets jiz on his console and is transported into his games where hilarious things happen and the sexual innuendos are funny, he goes on a sexual and spiritual journey (your rooting for him all the way)
Sexual pun intended 😁
The graphics are excellent kudos to artist 👍
Thanks to netgalley.co.uk and
@OniPress for a early read of cheater code for an honest review

This book, although very heavy on the NSFW content is surprisingly sweet.
In midst of all the erotica, there is actual character development, touching on heavy, emotional and social subjects without coming across as whiny or preachy.
It's also really hilarious and sassy with dirty puns mixed in with the smut and action scenes and I absolutely loved it!
The art is also quite exceptional, with vivid graphics, alongside awesome character design, full of imagination. I also have to give it extra browny points for the body-positivity and diversity in design.
Bottom line:
A sweet and sassy story of a gaymer relearning their own value while mending a broken heart.
4.5 stars and a rod.

Ken walks into his boyfriend Seth cheating on him. Seth promptly decides that he’s finally going to break up because he’s been unhappy. However, Ken, thinking he could wallow in his sadness whilst playing video games and master bating, he accidentally somehow teleports himself into his videogame, leading into an adventure of sexual encounters and acceptance.
I really enjoyed the art style and the moral of the story in the end. The only issue I had was that the game worlds could have been some we know or maybe a play on that. But apart from that, a fun read.

Review to come September 8th on blog/goodreads.
I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review!
Oh boy, I saw this cover and just had to click on read now as I had to have it. Boy oh boy, the first pages were immediately action. *fans herself* That really set the tone to what the book would give us, and I love it.
I felt sad for our MC. He comes home from work only to find the love of his life, the guy he has been with for 6 years, having sex in the kitchen with another man. My heart instantly broke for this guy. And I wanted to kick his boyfriend in the nuts. Sorry, but if you don't have those feelings for someone BE FUCKING honest and don't FUCK around (literally in this case :P).
While I am happy that his boyfriend talked, I hated his excuses. Why not have talked about these feelings sooner? If you wanted more sex? Talk. If you wanted to do more exercising with your lover? TALK. If you felt your relationship was in a fucking rut, again TALK. Good lord. :|
I had such a big laugh at the app Ken opened up, FUKR.
I loved that Ken didn't sit down and gloom and doom, instead he just immediately went for things. Good guy! Don't let that piece of poo ex let you go in the dumps.
And then the fun really starts when Ken ejaculates on his game console... to be transported to the gaming world. OH MY GOD. I loved that. I am a big lover of games and play a ton of games as well, so I loved seeing which games he got into (Silent Hill (BDSM kind of) for first which made me squee). I loved seeing how he got into each game and how self-aware the characters were. I was definitely curious if he was dreaming (good dreams man) or if he really jizzed up his game console good. ;P
I loved how self-aware each game character was. How they explained stuff, how they guided the MC, and much more. It made for a really fun read. Plus, I just loved seeing each new world and how our MC tried to make the best of things. In the end everything comes together and there was just a big squee when I saw one of my favourite characters appear (a bit more dystopian, plus a bit more like Ken's boyfriend, and oh yes let's not forget the dick sword, but still it was him). And yes, in my head I was playing that song along with the scenes that featured him.
Each new character (well most of them) gets plenty of sexy scenes with our MC (not to mention we get to see some other very sexy scenes along the way when we get to the spaceship/space game), and OH WOW. I need some ice cubes after reading those, because they were HOT. Sizzling. Steamy. DETAILED. Which isn't bad oh no not at all, but the yaoi/shounen ai I have been reading for years wasn't always this explicit (though some were of course), and I really started reading erotic comics since... well last year. Oh boy.
I loved the last level and I was just enjoying it so so much. I loved that the book ended the way it did, it was truly perfect. I am so happy for Ken. And yes, I am crying a bit. That guy deserves someone special. Someone great. Someone who won't judge him for gaming.
The art was just amazing and I love the style. The sex scenes were drawn wonderfully.
I would highly recommend this sexy, funny, adventurous graphic novel to everyone.

Wow this really was a saucy and kinky comic with a sci-fi twist I loved it. The graphics are great and it’s a fun read as well. Great stuff.

This was everything I thought it would be ... and yet ohhh so much more than I expected.
I have read my fair share of fanfiction, especially explicit reads and erotica over the years but even I wasn't expecting the graphics to be as vivid as they were. BUT this book deserves so many brownic points as far as I am concerned. However, how often to you actually get to see that condoms, lube, proper prep and stretching are talked about? When was the last time you read a book with a MC with a healthy tummy and not a six pack? Where a character is called out for size-shaming AND that one of the biggest manliest butchest characters (he is an Orc y'know?) is the bottom that wants it hard and fast? Threesomes being used healthily by couples and not being shamed for it!
Oh, and not to mention PUNS. So. Many. Puns. You will giggle.
Granted, I got more than I was expecting in terms of graphics but the graphics were phenominal.
AND there was even character development!!! So proud of our MC for realising he was worth more than the shitty view and worth his ex had set the standard at. <3 He deserves happinesssss and I'm so glad that the ending turned out as it did.

4 Stars ( I received an e-arc from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review)
This was an interesting graphic novel with a cute art style following Seth who walks in to find his boyfriend cheating on him and then gets dumped. Some how he ends up in a video game universe, which ends up taking him through different video game worlds while trying to find his way back to his universe. Just to remind everyone this is an erotica graphic novel and there are quite a lot of sex scenes between males. I don’t have a problem with it but if anyone is uncomfortable with that situation please don’t read and/or leave rude comments.

As a reader of slight erotica (mostly japanese mangas) and as a gamer myself, I was intreguied to find out how this could be made into a storyline, However I was pleasantly surprised. Im not going to lie, it was incredibly graphic (but in a drawing style I personally like) but it did have a sweet meaning behind the story. As a gamer, I can understand how the main character could make "friends" with his characters online and through them (and expressing himself), can discover that he didnt need his cheating partner to feel good. He learned to love himself. It was a rather dirty way of going about it, but fun! Definatly one for Adults!

Amid the steamy scenes we get a meaningful story of discovering ones self-worth and finding happiness after heartbreak. The character development was fantastic. I totally related to the part about using your hobbies to escape everyday life. I also understood the struggle of not becoming complacent in a long term relationship. The art style was totally up my alley and the whole video game element was a lot of fun. Being a gamer myself I liked how we got to visit different game worlds. Even though the male/male intimate scenes were really for me I love reading queer comics

Cheater code is a fun little romp featuring an emotive 'gaymer' and his adventures in the games he's played. The story is about growth and moving on, all taught to our protagonists through heroes of various games. Yes, it is graphic - but not in a way intended to be salacious or over-the-top. It's just an adventure that features sex, using characters who help our lead learn to appreciate himself and what he brings to a relationship.
Story: Kennedy walks in on his boyfriend enjoying another man and is promptly told that his relationship is over. Feeling abandoned and not sharing his now ex-boyfriend's view on their relationship, Ken falls into a slump. Until a lightning bolt on his console throws him into his favorite games. As he travels the different genres, he learns to grow beyond the needy person and instead to find his own strengths from some very self aware characters. But can he find a glitch to send him back to the real world?
Yes, this does read very much like a Marty Stu. Ken is paunchy, whiny, and clearly let things go while in the relationship. But the story has enough pathos and Ken is a likable enough hero that you don't mind tagging along with him through the various games. From an older "Last of Us" father-figure to a cheetah as a thinly disguised Crash Bandicoot, it's all in good fun but with a lot of conversations and sex along the way. Being a gamer (read: Console) helps to understand the genres - from Orcs and NPCs in a WoW setting, a Bioware type of Mass Effect self made hero that is just a projection of Ken's desired self image, to a Final Fantasyesque very phallic 'big sword' villain that not coincidentally looks a lot like Ken's ex. Inside jokes about the industry abound. But playing console games really isn't needed to enjoy the journey.
The artwork is very clean and the story easy to follow. The illustrations are broadly cartoony and so fit the light mood of the story. You'll also get a more indepth view of male anatomy than you are probably used to in a graphic novel. But I wouldn't let that put you off enjoying the story. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.

Thank you Netgalley for letting me read this book in return for an honest review.
What it's about:
After Kennedy finds his boyfriend cheating on him, he turns tries to distract himself and finds himself transported into the realm of videogames.
This wonderfully bizarre and explicit (it literally starts off very explicit) graphic novel turned out so much better than I thought it would be! I expected it to be mainly just sexual nut throughout the graphic novel, it is about friendship and accepting not only oneself but the hand that is dealt with in life.
Pros:
Despite it having many video game characters, it is so wonderfully human showing how one goes through the situation of finding someone they loved, cheating on them
The art is wonderful and the colours are vibrant which really works with what is going on
Each character has their own individual look and personality so none of them is confused with each other
Cons:
Perhaps maybe more of the original relationship so that viewers can sympathize more with Kennedy, however, this is not a game-changer

Would I read it again:
Definitely
Would I recommend it:

I don’t really read many graphic novels and I’ve never read one like this but it was cute and sweet and enjoyable with nice illustrations.

<i>arc provided by the publisher via netgalley in exchange for an honest review</i>
So, this I had zero idea what it was about beyond what looked to be a gaming sort of thing mixed in with some erotica.
I was pleasantly surprised by this. I had a blast reading it and had it done in one sitting! I loved that this was hilarious with all of the dirty puns mixed in with some smut and action scenes with an added flair of excellent character development.
I loved how sex positive this was. Not just in the amount of it but how the characters interacted, the consent and being shown things like Prep and douching. It’s something you don’t see a lot of despite the fact that it is something many people need and have to do.
The character development was also such a joy to see. We start off the story with Ken catching his boyfriend of six years cheating on him and he comes to find out that he’s not in love with him anymore either. So, now Ken needs to navigate life without his ex and figure out how to deal with his own feelings about everything. The way his favourite game characters to the way he, himself learned how to deal with it all was really touching and I think a lot of people could relate to it (minus the orc sex, or maybe with orc sex who knows).
This was a queer, smutty, hilariously fun read and I would definitely read more by these creators in the future!
4/5 ⭐️
TW: cheating, nudity/sex.

The ARC for this novel was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review (Thanks again!).
Kennedy and Seth have been a couple for six years and Kennedy thinks that everything is still good between them but he is wrong. They've had some trouble but it's not until Kennedy discovers Seth cheating on him with another at his home that he realizes it's all over.
Shattered and heartbroken, Kennedy looks for ways to overcome him and prove that he can move on, but that night he is distracted by his video games and a huge energy overload transports him inside multiple video games, where he will be seduced by various characters, he will have many encounters sexual and will fight to return home and overcome their love break.
Cheather Code is an erotic graphic novel that will keep you attentive to Kennedy's adventures. It has some beautiful drawings and the author's imagination turns your head, starting because Kennedy knows many fictional characters that in one way or another surprise and captivate you and him.
The drawings are exceptional, I adored them, especially the colors they used, and I was able to empathize a lot with Kennedy, especially with the break up. And while the novel has lots of funny parts, there are also times when you can't help but feel sad for the character and wish everything would work out for him.
The author also mentions some topics in a subtle way such as depression or hurting oneself, something that really seemed very useful to me to know Kennedy.
In addition, there are many ridiculously charming and funny situations that will make you laugh out loud. And Kennedy's adventure, although funny and full of sexual moments, also leads you to love the characters and his final message is completely adorable, true and incredible. I seriously loved this graphic novel ~.
Of course, we must be clear that it is an EROTIC novel with VERY EXPLICIT scenes. If you are not comfortable with that type of content, you better not read it. Instead, if you enjoy it or it doesn't bother you, welcome to Kennedy's adventure ~.
