A Secret for a Secret will hook your attention from the very beginning! It is Ryan Kingstons book and is so well worth reading that you will want to be all the characters friends!
This story is witty, steamy, with some really great lol moments and add in some secrets and disappointments and you have a winner of a story on your hands!
Kingston is the most amazing caring fictional boyfriend you will definitely want to meet! I cant even with his whole demeanor, his beautiful words of inspiration and the way he loves those close to him!
I particularly loved how Queenie’s struggles were something rather close to what alot of people go through in life and how it shaped how she perceives things!Kingstons support is insurmountable and I really loved how their story unfolded and especially how it ended! This book was so worth 10 stars! It has everything you want in a story and I highly recommend reading it!
Absolutely amazing!! Kudos to the authors talent at writing such a wonderful story!

Oh goodness I loved this book so much! I wasn’t sure how Helena Hunting would top the other two books in the series because they’re amazing, but top them she did!
King and Queenie are everything!! Their adorable banter, their adorable quirkiness/awkwardness, and their insane chemistry and love.
I am quite seriously in love with King. His gentlemanly ways, his protectiveness, his love and compassion, his adorable quirks, and so much more! He makes me laugh and swoon. It is absolutely impossible not to fall head-over-heels in love with King.
And Queenie...this strong, brilliant, kind-hearted and vulnerable soul. She may have a tough exterior and be confined chaos at times, but deep down she is vulnerable and self-conscious.
But together King and Queenie are perfection. The calm to the others storm. The light and the dark. A perfect harmony. It was an absolute joy watching their story unfold from beginning to end. As they reach the highest of highs and hit some lows, always coming back together perfectly.
I sincerely adore this book and these characters. I was completely hooked from page 1 until the very last word. Enamored with this beautiful and funny story that Helena Hunting has created that just makes me genuinely happy.

Milk drinking, automotive safety poster-child, neat-freak Ryan Kingston, NHL goalie, finds his perfect match in indecisive, spontaneous, artistic, and perpetual doomsayer Queenie. And as opposite as these two seem, they click so perfectly well together, it is scary cute. It takes them a good part of the book to realize this, and another good part of the book for Queenie to get it, but the end results when they are finally in sync? Absolutely magical!
This book has so much going on in it - Steaminess, oh yes! Romantic, definitely! Comedy, duh, but course! Cute kids, can we say small Waters children? Over-protective dad, Jake was wonderful (and now I want his HEA!) Drama-Llama, a couple jerk-faces *grrrr. A wild and unexpected family, but still full of love, absolutely! Hockey players and in-law teasing, yes, if you read the first two books in the series, Rook and Bishop are friendlier, but still at each other, and provide some great LOL moments!
See, it is all there, and it was all wonderful, and I couldn’t put it down once I started, and the ending and the epilogue has tears of happiness streaming down my face. Now, about Jake……..

I just love Helena Huntings stories & especially her sports romance ones. A Secret for a Secret was amazing! I just loved the characters and the storyline.
King and Queenie were perfect for each other. Their chemistry and banter made this such an enticing read. Opposites attract and they couldn’t have been more different but they worked.
A one night stand turned into an “office romance” to sneaking around from the boss aka dad to Queenie. There was so many facets to this story but in the end it came down to a perfect match and a happily ever after. I cannot wait for more in this series and more from Helena. If I’m having a bad day or stressed, her books take me out of my head and let me escape into her characters world. Her writing is light, fun and will make you laugh and smile. Definitely pick up this book and this series, it’s so worth it!

This is the third book in the All In series and I’ve loved them all, but so far it’s been my favorite! So much so that I read it in basically one sitting. I was intrigued by Kingston in the other books, but fell in love with him and Queenie instantly! They are one true pairing royalty...literally. The very definition of opposites attract, Kingston is order and precision whereas Queenie is chaos and mess. I always enjoy an opposites attract trope but there was something special about this one. Our king and queen had instant chemistry and complimented each other so well. They’re likable and made me smile and laugh constantly. Plus, Kingston’s whole church boy day to day but freak in the sheets vibe was a joy and I was one hundred percent here for it. Helena Hunting nails it again!

I really enjoyed this book. Both main characters were well developed, there were some funny and sweet moments. I think some characters were not necessary (Cory) however overall a fun read. P.S,. Jake needs his own HEA.

I was excited when I saw this title on NetGalley as I've been reaching Helena Hunting since her very first PUCKED book. Ms. Hunting has a knack for hot and hilarious romance and A Secret for a Secret is no exception.
In this story we meet Queenie (yes, her name is really Queenie), the seemingly flaky daughter of the GM of Seattle's hockey team and King (Ryan Kingston) a seemingly straitlaced hockey player for said team. Obviously there is more to these characters than meets the eye and soon these two crazy kids get into some hot and hilarious trouble together. This is a Helena Hunting book and therefore you expect a certain amount of ridiculous drama, but it somehow always works and manages to never cross the line into annoying and unnecessary.
I also love that we get to see past characters from both this series and the original PUCKED series throughout the story, it;s nice to see what past favorite characters are up to. Overall another fun and easy read from this author.

Queenie and King are so adorable and funny! I've been waiting for kings book since he seemed like a boys scout and I figured it'd be interesting. This book definitely didn't disappoint!

Completely beautiful.
I predicted it when I reviewed A Favor for a Favor. This series is my favourite by Helena Hunting. The depth of character and raw emotion that goes into each book in the All In series is flawless.
You aren’t getting a rip roaring and hilarious romcom with this series. Hunting’s characters go through an emotionally moving journey together, and I personally think King and Queenie’s was the best (which is saying something because all three were outstanding).
The portrayal of Queenie’s character development has honestly left me speechless. She grew so much and so naturally throughout the course of this story. Hunting can take delicate subject matter and storylines and turn them into something magnificent.
I sincerely hope you’ll read the All In series. Each book is exceptional.
The reading order is this: A Lie for a Lie, A Favor for a Favor, A Secret for a Secret.

Thank you to @netgalley for a copy of A Secret for a Secret. This book is part of the All in Book series and can be read as a stand-alone. This one is my favorite book so far of series. We have seen Ryan in the previous books and I am so happy he gets his own story. This one is funny and 🔥. I read it in one day!

This is my favorite in the series so far! I may have already said that, but they just seem to get better and better. This story not only hit all the feels with the emotional roller coaster of a storyline, but was also full of heart and made me laugh and smile. I fell hard for these characters and I definitely hope Helena will write more in this world. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Helena Hunting kept you full of belly laughs, warm hearts, and melted panties with the hilariously entertaining story that is A Secret for a Secret.
Ryan Kingston is in one single word: everything. Perfection. Swoony. Chivalrous. Dirty. Protective. Sweet.
I could go on all day and it still wouldn’t be enough.
A gentleman in the streets but a filthy mouthed savage in bedroom.
He is the unicorn every woman is looking for.
And who better for a King than a Queen?
Queenie is the beautiful chaos that’s stormed it’s way into Ryan’s life and heart.
“She’s my raging rapids, and I’m her calm lake at dawn.”
These two are ying and yang. So perfect. So epic. And I didn’t want it to end.

I am going to state this I was VERY excited actually to get the chance to read this book earlier. I wasn’t disappointed at all, either. This book held my attention from beginning to end. I felt like Queenie was good for King. Because Jessica was not it for him at all. When he was mentioned a few times in Stevie and Bishop's book, I kept thinking that maybe Jessica cheated or had a baby or family or something.
But comes to find out King's sister Hanna was his mother. & his mother was his grandmother. I didn’t think that whatever Queenie went through wasn’t as bad as what he went through.
The only thing was bad was learning she married that sorry a-turd Corey at eighteen. & learning that Corey dumb self didn’t pay that fine for their divorce to be finalized. What a waste that was, especially when he kept putting her down, I see why she kept running away from her problems. But what I was about was the fact that she didn’t run away from her problems when it came to King. At least she tried to fix whatever needed to be fixed. But she kept a lot of secrets from King and other people. It was interesting that King trusted her. But I was glad that they didn’t let anyone or anything mess up their relationship because they had a lot of drama in their relationship, especially Queenie.
P.S. I don’t know, but I feel like there should be or going to be a book about Corey Slater, Queenie ex-douche bag husband. & some girl, the girl I am thinking is King ex Jessica🤣 that’s what I keep thinking. I felt like Sissy was full of it too when it came to Corey, I hope he listened to Queenie when she told him he better get a prenup when he was busy talking smack to her, when he should’ve been worried about his woman Sissy who was a thot bot which, was a Flossie and the baby turned out NOT to be his. What a waste somebody well no people no those hockey players need to learn how to stop getting involved with that chick she is no good. & only trying to get a come up from whatever hockey player she can get her hands on. First, it was Rook; then it was Corey, I wonder who else she’s going to get her claws on!!!!
P.S. another thing that caught my attention was the fact that I think Hanna (King, Momster) end-up dating Queenie (Dad, Jake), who is also King general manager beside Alex.
Btw: I wonder who the book is going to be about. Let’s hope it’s Corey that dude got a lot with him. If not, I do wonder who it’ll be and what name (title) it’s going to be.
But then, as I’m writing this review. I am like wait the next book can’t be about Corey, because he has a pencil ding-a-ling... whereas the guys in this series are working with something. 🤣

Ryan Kingston is the guy girls dream about. Polite and sweet in public but can get down and dirty in private. He’s the polar opposite of Queenie. She’s way more impulsive, she’s an act now think later kind of girl. One night, the two meet, and both spilled secrets to each other that they’ve never shared with anyone else. After all, they’re complete strangers, never to see each other again, and after that one explosive night, neither contacted the other again. Until 6 weeks later, when Queenie shows up with her father to work, her father that happens to be the general manager of the Seattle Hockey team, the same team Kingston plays goalie for. Neither was prepared to see each other, but now that they’re back in each other’s lives are they willing to take the risk?
This has turned into one of my favorite series by Helena. A Secret for A Secret is a great addition to the All In Series, it’s full of humor and is such a heartwarming story. But don’t let that fool you, it is STEAMY, and King will have you swooning over him in a heartbeat. Helena absolutely nailed this story, and I loved that Queenie brought out a different side of King, but that he also brought out a different side of her. They were the perfect coupling and the true definition of opposites attract. I will also say, I LOVED that we got to catch up with Rook and Lainey, and Stevie and Bishop, as well as Violet and Alex. I think that’s what I love the most about all of Helena’s books and this one too, we get to catch up with past characters, and they truly play an integral role in current books. I’m ready for more Helena in 2020!

This is not a drill, we finally have Kingston’s book and it’s everything I’ve been waiting for and more. Helena Hunting absolutely left the best till last in this series and OMG is this story so worth the wait.
I’ve had a soft spot for the boy scout after meeting him in A lie for a Lie and after inhaling A Secret for a Secret I can wholeheartedly say it was justified. I loved him and his old man driving ways and the way he falls and falls hard for the one woman he never saw coming.
Queenie, who just may give Violet a run for her money in my favourite heroine stakes, was not only perfect for King, but she was a character that you instantly love and want to be real so she can be your new best friend.
Put her together with KIng and watch the sparks, dirty talk and clothes fly as they entertain you, make you laugh and steam up the pages while they do the unthinkable and be exactly what the other needs.
Toss in familiar faces in Bishop, Rook, Alex, Stevie and of course Violet and an absolutely adorable scene stealer and you have a book that has become my favourite of the series (yes you can read them as stand-alone books, but you will totally want to read them all) and one I’m already fighting to not re-read already. Well played Helena Hunting, well played indeed.

Funny, Irreverent and with a lot of sense of humor that will also carry passion and love on every page we get to turn.
Queenie is living with her dad, after many heartaches that life has constantly given her, she has so many things that she has to solve especially her heart that has been burned so many times in the past by people who supposedly needs to protect her and love her but end up breaking her apart.
King is getting out of a very weird situation his family lied to him about certain things that are not really making his life any easier but Queenie is here to save him, from his constant rules that are very hard to break but at the same time she is the only one who can make him feel relaxed and out of control.
A Secret for a Secret is the story of two very different souls trying to connect in any way they can, life has brought them together with an intention of healing any wound or heartache that life and family keep bringing at their doorsteps.
I love how different Queenie and King are, how this makes them blend so good no matter how it seems like they will never be the perfect couple at the end, all their differences were the perfect element and balance to make this relationship the best for them.
One of my favorite parts was the Kids you will have to meet them to see what I'm talking about, they really brought so much to the story and the main characters..
A secret for a secret has a little bit of angst, the secondary characters are in charge to bring Chaos to Queenie and King's life, they were mean, insecure and very vengeful. they really brought so many tears to Queenie's life. but in the end, Quennie was successful and strong to be able to finally put all this behind and finally show the best version of herself.
it was a great book, a great story, with so many great characters, the story really will bring you a smile and a few tears but most will make your heart sing

Uptight rule follower Ryan Kingston lets loose one night and has a one night stand with Queenie. She leaves him with a thank you note and her panties as a parting gift. Six weeks later Kingston is ready to start his new season as goalie for Seattle's NHL team and in walks Queenie, The GM's daughter, and new personal assistant.
Watching Kingston try to be just friends with Queenie leads to a nice slow burn romance. Queenie clearly knows that Kingston is something special, but she is trying to keep the promise she made to her dad that she wouldn't date the players. As the romance unfolds another secret from Queenie's past threatens to derail everything.
This book is the third in the series and could be read as a standalone. I hope for more in this series. I loved Queenie's dad Jake and I hope he gets a story one day.

"I feel like I’ve finally found my person. The one who won’t try to tame my chaos but will let me live in it and help me balance my impulsiveness with stability. He’s yin and I’m yang. He’s sugar and I’m salt."
This is an all-round good story. It has a little of everything I look for in a romance novel. It stirs your emotions and has you rooting for the couple from the start. There’s some angst, a dash of ‘what did I just read’, enough Awe! to make you swoon, a soupcon of hilarity and plenty to make you fan yourself. There is ex drama, family drama, & a forbidden relationship.
Ryan Kingston ‘King’ is the archetypal good boy. Respectful, considerate, teetotal, polite. He’s never met a rule that shouldn’t be followed.
Queenie, on the other hand, is impulsive, sassy, chaotic, confused, worrier. She the hot mess. Lacks self-confidence
Both are passionate. Though only one of them is following their passion.
After a secret is exposed King uncharacteristically decides to head to a bar to drown his problems, though not very successfully until Queenie lends a hand. Leading to a one-night stand which is totally out of character for King.
She’s gone in the morning, for a disappointed King life goes on unchanged, until the first practice of the season. King discovers that not only is Queenie his GMs new assistant, she’s also his only daughter. Queenie would quite like to hide from the situation; King, true to his nature takes the first opportunity to confront the situation head-on.
They are the perfect foil to each other. King brings stability to Queenie, Queenie mayhem/chaos to King.
“She’s my raging rapids, and I’m her calm lake at dawn. We’re good. Perfect”
Secrets of any size can cause problems, hence why we hide them. There are secrets aplenty, some inconsequential, others that are life-changing in their enormity
A shy little flower in the story will melt your heart.

Ladies, I know you have been waiting for Kings story, and now you have it! He is basically everything you'd want in a man without realizing it. He is the epitome of a 'good guy,' but isn't boring or lame or whatever adjectives one might typically describe a 'good guy.' Sure he drives like a grandpa, milk is his drink of choice and he refuses to allow himself to get worked up about things and heaven forbid he raise his voice in anger, but... he is loyal, not afraid of confrontation (though he tries to keep things peaceful,) sweet, respectful to a fault, and has a few secrets of his own. Least not forgot he is hot, and good in the sheets. One word, stamina. ;) She is a hurricane. Everything he is not. Messy, chaotic and living her life on fumes. She's also a bit lost. On paper they are nothing alike, have nothing in common, but they are anything but. They balance each other perfectly. She shows him how to loosen up and he shows her how to calm the fires burning inside. If you are familiar with this author, you will appreciate the humor, well, you'll appreciate it either way. It's a pretty lighthearted read, though there are plenty of angsty situations that happen and words spoken that bring the lightness down a notch or two. There is some sexual content to bring the steam factor up. As usual with this author, it's well written and well plotted. Easy and quick to read. While this is part of a series, each book can be read as a stand alone... though you will enjoy the characters more if you've read the previous books. There is also some of the Pucked characters included. Yay Violet! :D Due to the sexual content and the nature of parts of the story, I would suggest this for mature readers.
*I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley.

Y’all, I love me some Helena Hunting hockey romances!! Last year I discovered her Pucked series & then branched out to her spin-off series, All In. This is book 3 in that series & it publishes on May 12, 2020.

Queenie & Kingston meet up at a bar one night, while they’re attempting to drown their stresses in martini glasses. What began as a wild one night *almost* hook up, soon becomes a flash of reality when they see each other again face to face at their place of employment. Their chemistry couldn’t be denied the first night they met, and it certainly won’t be overlooked again... even if the current situation is a bit sticky.
•
I loved how carefree & wild Queenie’s personality is, only to be complimented by Kingston’s calm & orderly way of life. What should mix like oil & water ended up molding into something quite beautiful. Their romance has all the swoons (& the heat!).
•
I love these types of romances because they’re quick-paced, laugh out loud funny, & irresistibly swoon-worthy. It’s the perfect mix to satisfy my romance reading cravings. And right now, we could all use a bit more of these types of escapes.

Book 1: A Lie for a Lie
Book 2: A Favor for a Favor
Book 3: A Secret for a Secret
(all of these books can be read as standalones, or out of order, however I recommend reading them all in order b/c you’ll see a lot of character cross overs & cameos)
