With the The Baby Group, Caroline Corcoran has written one heck of a thriller! The main character, Scarlett, has a successful parenting blog, but her world is unraveled when an old sex tape of hers is sent to literally almost everyone she knows including her parents, boss, and friends. The only people who seemingly haven't seen it are her fellow members of her new mother's' group. Who leaked the tape and why? This book was filled with twists and betrayals. What else is Scarlett hiding in her past behind her carefully curated life? This was an excellent book that kept me reading and guessing.

This was a really good read. It's well written and keeps you hooked. I couldn't get enough of this and the secrets, lies, and deception.
Every time i'd make up my mind on who was responsible, something would cause me to change my mind. I liked that I was kept guessing.

I enjoyed all the secrets and lies to this book to give it that mysterious edge! I like finding those reads where looks can be deceiving like with Scarlett who seemingly has the perfect husband, perfect baby, perfect friends, perfect life and then one little thing can destroy that perfection that creates a little crack until it breaks. As a sex tape emerges from the past the only ones who don’t receive this tape with Scarlett in it are her mommy friends Cora, Emma, and Asha so could one of them actually be the guilty party who somehow found it and made it surface for everyone to see?! The POV told from Scarlett and the anonymous culprit who will be revealed when it comes time and why they were out to destroy Scarlett! This was a good read!! Thank you NetGalley and Avon books for the copy in exchange for my review.

Very interesting psychological thriller. The writer did a great job with the description and mind games for the main character. So many emotions while reading this book and kept me captivated from beginning to end.
Thank you Netgalley for the earc.

Scarlett is just barely keeping it together on her first day back to work after a year long maternity leave. When she is told there is a sex tape that has been sent to all of her family and friends, she is floored. Everyone in her life has witness this intimate moment in her life except her baby group, who she is keeping out of the drama at all costs. But we find out early on that the very person responsible for this malicious act is a member of the close-knit baby group.
This domestic thriller kept me engaged from the first page. Even though it is heavily plot-driven, we get to know each of the characters very well, and the writing is well-executed. This was an ingenious story about how the intimate bond of new moms can go horribly awry.

When I say gripping thriller, The Baby Group always pops up to my minds. This addictive and atmospheric book is a perfect example of a gripping thriller. It keeps me guessing what is going on with the story and the my curiosity is highly addictive. This is unputdownable, packed with secrets that will surely keep you guessing!!

DNF - did not finish. I was intrigued by this one but, I could not connect with the writing and storyline so I decided to put this one down. Thank you, publisher and netgalley for the chance to check this out!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy.
Unfortunately I found every character annoying and lacking substance. Very slow paced and very repetitive. In today’s society is a sex tape from years ago that big of a deal? Embarrassing yes, life shattering no!
I was so irritated by this book at the end I was glad when it was over.

I tried to read this book several times and I just could not get into it at all. This one just did not work out for me.

"Her life was perfect. Until the video. Scarlett’s golden life suddenly unravels when someone sends a shocking video of her to everyone she knows. The only people who claim they haven’t seen it are the friends in her new mothers’ group: Cora, Emma and Asha.
Scarlett is forced to delve into her past to discover who is out to get her. But as her circle of trust gathers around her, she has to ask – are her friends as innocent as they seem?"
This book was such a brilliant storyline, so current and easy to relate to. I am sure, like everyone else, I was thinking how easy I latched onto other mothers when I had a small baby, without doing my due diligence first! It kept me up reading late into the night, as I switched allegiance from one friend to another, alternately wanting to trust them all and trust none of them. The story develops at quite a pace and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Only 4* because for me, I felt the Cheshire Mama blog side of Scarlett's life quite annoying.

I really enjoyed this one, lots of twists and turns in it. I would read more by this author after this.
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

Light thriller, not enough to have you on the edge of your seat but nice chill out read.
A bit slow for me but nice to try something different.

I really enjoyed this author's writing style. The book was fast paced and edgy. Definitely one I would recommend to a friend.

This one unfortunately just couldn't keep my attention. I started and stopped it and restarted it multiple times before dragging through. I think as a thriller reader who also really enjoys a dark horror, this just wasn't one for me. However, readers of more light thrillers will likely be very satisfied with The Baby Group.

A great read with good twists and a fabulous ending! You won't regret reading this one, I had trouble putting it down!

The main character was honestly so annoying I simply couldn’t finish it. She complained endlessly about the other characters and although I suppose this is so representative of many of us, her selfish judgmental conclusions about other characters with babies and children turned me off

this book has you gripped from the beginning, i didn't see the plot playing out that way but wow just wow, a real page turner would highly recommend

Excellent book that had me racing through trying to work things out.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC in return for an honest and unbiased opinion.

Oh my god what a good read this one was, just shows you how your last can come back to haunt you (I’m so glad when I was young nobody ha demobilised phones that’s for sure 😂 I know there would be a fair few videos that I’d want to hide 🙈)
I loved this book though and wasn’t sure who was out to get her and who to trust, it was brilliant and I was hooked from the start, cant wait for the next book!

A great book with a dark twisty plot about a girl called Scarlett who was a bit of a wild child in her youth but has now settled down, is married and has a baby girl. Her life is seemingly quite perfect until a video from way back in her past is sent to almost everyone she knows. The story had a bit of a slow start for me but gradually the pace picks up and overall this is really good read!
