She’s done it again! #thehalfsister by @sandiejones was exactly what I thought it would be. If you were a fan of #theotherwomen and #thefirstmistake then The Half Sister will not disappoint!

Full of twists and turns, drama and hidden secrets. Jess turns up claiming to be the half sister of Kate and Lauren and the story unfolds from there!

Really enjoyed this read, it kept giving right up to the last sentence! It wasn’t a heavy read, gliding through the story without realising how fast I was reading it!

Thank you to @netgallery for allowing me to read this!

This book was too confusing for me. I lost track of the characters and their relationship to Jess, as the story continued and each twist was debated but never fully dismissed. Fairly fast paced.

Ah I’m so sorry I wanted to love this one but I didn’t. I found the characters hard to relate to and the plot unbelievable to the point of laughable at times.
Positive note: the story was really fast paced and I enjoyed the quick fire chapters... that’s about all though.

I am quite the Sandie Jones fan but The Half-Sister just doesn’t compare to her previous work.

The plot is good but it gets mixed up in places, at times I had no idea what was happening. Great tension!
The DNA made no sense.

The characters could have been better, two sisters living extremely different lives is a bit of a cliche. I really liked Lauren, I found her real, refreshing and her flaws recalled worked to show her pain. Simon nearly made me throw my iPad across the room. What a despicable, horrible character. He was written perfectly!

Ending was predictable but this was a great way to spend a few hours in peace.

#TheHalfSister #NetGalley
Best psychological thriller I've ever read.
Sandie is a born storyteller.
Sisters Kate and Lauren with their husbands arrived at their mum's and things become worse when a girl is arrived at their door and demands to see Hanry, their father. She said that she's their half sister.
Each character is so twisty that I can't explain in words of how thrilled I'm after reading this book.
Thanks to NetGalley and Pan for giving me an advanced copy.

I enjoyed this thrilling drama tremendously. The plot was well crafted and the characters were people I could relate to and empathize with. Definitely recommended.

An enjoyable read, finished in one sitting.

This has had a good plot with likeable characters and twists I couldn’t predict.

I read The Other Woman earlier this year and really enjoyed it, but this one fell slightly short of my expectations. I personally felt it was a bit clunky and took a while to get into, and that some of the drama fell a bit flat. I did however, spend the first 3/4 of the book thinking I’d guessed the plot, only to find that whilst that aspect was addressed, there was more to it - which did up my respect levels for the book as it wasn’t as predictable as I thought. The last 10% or so was also really action packed and thrilling in comparison with the rest of the story, and it was a pretty easy read, so not overall not too bad. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
