I love a good apocalypse novel, so when I saw this, I knew I had to read it. I love that we go right into the story instead of having a huge buildup. The characters are well written, the story line is one of my favorite topics and it’s well done. I will definitely be giving this one a re-read. If you are a fan of apocalypse books, do yourself a favour and pick this one up!

This is a good dystopian novel. It is very long with many different points of view and possibly could have been two books.

Lazarus Rising is a good dystopian novel. Too many chapters are used to introduce each character though. This makes it difficult to maintain interest and I almost gave up. The second half flowed well and was intriguing but so much was left for the epilogue that it could have been a sequel.
