Thanks a million to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this fantastic Arc.
This is the second book in the Columbia River series involving Ava and Mason.
All I can say is Kendra you are truly gifted!! Each book just gets better and better if that's possible and I've read them all!!
I wouldn't just recommend this book I would go as far as to say if you haven't read ALL of Kendra Elliot's books you are definitely missing out!!
This book was amazing!
Murder, mayhem, intrigue, romance.. I laughed, shed a few tears, and was on the edge of my seat through the whole book. Wow..what a ride haha.
Ava and Mason have been through so much together, and Jayne is usually a big ole thorn in Ava's side.
There were characters pulled in to assist in helping out, and that was an extra pleasant surprize.
Twists and turns to keep you guessing throughout the book, Classic Kendra Elliot writing.. loved it.
I would definitely read this series again, after reading the first two books.
This is the second book in this series and I really enjoyed both of them. I loved both of the story lines and the characters. The relationship between the twins shows the strong link that twins have with each other. There were lots of twists and turns to confuse the reader
This was like an early Christmas present. Getting another story with Mason and Ava, plus many of the characters from Bone Secrets along with plenty of thrilling moments that leave you in fear for some secondary characters.
In between a murder investigation that is tied to a mass shooting of law enforcement we get closure on many of the open threads from the last McLane and Callahan book. I don't want this to be the last we see of them, and maybe it wont be, but the ending was perfect in how it wrapped things up for the characters we've all come to love (some more more than other ie..Jayne (Ava's twin) )
Another great read from Kendra Elliot. The main characters Ava & Mason are very strong and likeable. The story centres around a murder and then a mass shooting which brings back a whole host of characters from previous books, which I really enjoy. There always seemed to be a new obstacle to overcome at every turn. At some points I did wonder how the main characters could cope with any more, especially Ava but they always did. I love the relationship between Mason & Ava. Ava deserves someone who loves her wholeheartedly and she definitely gets this with Mason. Ava’s relationship with her sister is so frustrating! Makes you wonder what you would do if you where in her shoes. I hadn’t expected the twist in the plot but it pulled the whole story together. So for me, the book had a good plot and lots of characters you really come to care about and want to read more about, can’t ask for more than that as far as I am concerned. (Sorry it’s not a very professional review, writing it purely as an avid reader).
