The first book in this series was Fantastic, the second book again Fantastic, this third book continues where the second left off and HOLY HOT HEAVENS!! Again i am blown away with the depth of emotion, mentally and physically i feel, this series doesn't just get better its Phenomenal and even that doesn't do it justice !!

Both Jinx and Sully are on edge and finally beginning to give into their feelings. Their intense connection is of the charts, but Pepper Winters never ever makes things easy for our hearts and minds.
Trust is being tested, demons and enemies are starting to show themselves, and danger becomes even more apparent and is creeping up on them.
My heart honestly goes into overdrive when i enter this fantastical world Pepper Winters brings us into. I can't, even days later get my emotions back into order or my mind constantly going over every little word !! I Need help, i can't get enough of Jinx and Sully or let go of the tension !!! A match made in Heaven but they sure are taking us through hell first !!!
This is more than a 5 star read, in fact every single page earns 5 stars !!!

Ever read a book where you didn’t want to turn the last page because it was just that riveting?
This book is will be one of those
Still reeling from the plot twists in this book! Pepper weaves her story around Sully and Eleanor’s deepening feelings for one another in spite of Sully’s past and Eleanor’s contract. Will Sully push Eleanor too far? Will Eleanor’s request be the catalyst that starts the ball rolling? And Sully’s past won’t stay hidden when a threat looms on the horizon of his Isles. What will Sully do? Need Fourth A Lie now!

Collecting my thoughts after this incredibly evocative 3rd book in the Goddess Isles series, my awe at how Pepper Winters meticulously crafts such an engaging story is overwhelming once more. You'd think with a 5 book set that the story would somehow drag or get a bit off course. But it doesn't. And as a matter of fact, Third a Kiss had me as captivated as when I first started this journey with Once a Myth. Proving once again, just how talented a storyteller Winters continues to be.

Picking up where we left off in Twice a Kiss, Eleanor has struck out in only the way she knew how and now the consequences of her actions only prove that the attraction between her and Sully is beyond either one's comprehension. That push and pull between them is in abundance and as the book progresses, we get to dig deeper into Sully's psyche and the truths he has kept locked up tight for oh so long.

There is a deep emotional fire buried within Sully and with the way Eleanor has tricked him, it is unleashed to burn down anything in its path. I wasn't certain just how this latest installment would play out knowing what she did was unimaginable but consider me shocked right along with Goddess Jinx at what actually does transpire.

This entire journey to redemption? Forgiveness? Understanding? Each turn of the page tries to answer those questions as we get to dig just a bit deeper into the whys of Sully's islands, the reasons for his affection towards animals and the lengths he'll go to to protect someone or something he loves. The man is a mystery that perhaps only Eleanor can solve but at what cost?

There is still so much to explore, with Winters again giving us a jaw-dropping cliffhanger as the seemingly evil brother in Drake may just be Sully's ultimate downfall. So much is still left to uncover and with two books still to be released, I do believe my own heart and soul will go through the wringer right alongside that of Sully and Eleanor.

I'm beyond thankful for the lightness provided by those two adoring cuties in Pika and Skittles and who knows, maybe they will be the key to emerging from the depths of despair we have been left with.

Needing to be purposely vague with this review as not to give away just anything that could spoil your experience, I encourage to you to join me on the trek through the tropics and savor a story like only Pepper Winters can tell. She is the consummate wordsmith with the Goddess Isles series some of her best work to date.

Third a Kiss along with the rest of the series thus far, is one big angst-fest with smart characters driven by the proficient passages that Author creates. It is a 5+ star read all the way.

Oh my goodness! This series is really picking up now! Sully is not a very admirable character at times, but you still find yourself rooting for him. Eleanor is a little too good to be true at times, but she's still a strong, feisty heroine. These two are perfect for each other! This story keeps picking up steam, keeps getting better and I can't wait for the conclusion now!

I hadn't read the previous books in this series and hadn't thought it would be a problem. But when I started this, I was dropped into the middle of a story that made little sense to me. I felt the blurb didn't reflect what was happening in the story, so you would need to go and read books 1 and 2, or even the blurbs, to know what you were getting with the book. I tried to make a go of finishing this but the storyline just wasn't for me.

“I’ve been sullied by Sully...in every possible way. Mentally, physically, emotionally.”

You guys. So much happens in this third installment of the Goddess Isles series. So many questions are answered finally that I was literally dying to know.

“I’d gambled with fate and lost. I’d asked for something I could never survive. And she’d been delivered straight from my fantasies and directly into my nightmares.”

More drama and intensity. Some of the hottest sex ever happens! Woo Hoo!

We meet some “villains” so to speak. In this book.

You guys. Without spoiling anything.. just ... so much happens. Sparks fly. Good or bad? Who knows.

And Skittles. My love. I wish she was mine.

How do you write a review about a book and author that from day one has delivered the most poisonous, addictive pain and the most euphoric pleasure without repeating past phrases or words? I don't know, but here goes.

Third a Kiss by Pepper Winters is book three in The Goddess Isles series, and we pick up right where Twice a Wish ended. As with most of Pepper's couples, there is this push and pull, hot and cold, give and take that destroys you. It makes you crave for the couple to be together but it also makes you want them to walk away so everyone, including you, can be put out of their misery. We finally get to see the culmination of these two people clashing and burning for each other, but as with all good Pepper stories, happily ever after is not real.

Sully and Eleanor go through so much, and to see their relationship grow made my heart burst. I cannot read a Pepper Winters book without almost instantaneously becoming engrossed and overwhelmed with emotions. When the characters are anxious, my heart races. When the characters are sad, I can't help but cry. And when the characters fall in love, I can feel it in my soul. There is something about the way this woman writes that just calls out and yanks on every emotion I have. She writes such beautiful tragedy, and I seriously cannot recommend this series, and everything else she has written, enough to you all.
Overall rating: 5 stars
Steaminess rating: 4 stars

Is this the real life or is this just fantasy? It all started by a myth. Then moved to a wish. We’ve reached the kiss.
Last we read we found out that Sully had a bit of humanity left inside of him. Not everything he does is dark and evil. Sully has shown a few weaknesses especially when it comes to Eleanor.
To know danger you must first understand how Sully got his start. Pepper explores Sully’s past experiences threading in the memories with Eleanor sharing glimpses of the man he once was. It’s good versus evil. He’s two different men at a crossroads within himself. Eleanor is just the sweet temptation to cure him of his evil ways.

Overall:
I’m having a difficult time putting into words how I feel about Third A Kiss. With this being the third book and the middle book in a five book series it fell flat for me. With that said I need to explain that this book is crucial as it’s setting the pace for the next book which I’m certain will have all the action and suspense I’ve been craving. Third A Kiss set the groundwork for the next two books.
It’s so much harder reviewing a series than a stand-alone because in a series the pace is stretched out. I want so badly to review each book separately yet it doesn’t seem fair when the series isn’t finished. Based on the revelations and growth so far in the series I will say this book is essential to the growth of the characters.
You can still count on Pepper to deliver intense, graphic, and erotic sex scenes. That hasn’t changed. You bet Sully still is dangerous. You still get that same sense of tranquility with being on a beautiful island surrounded by water, sand, and sun even with goddesses being held against there will.

If it’s one thing Pepper is good at is words. She can describe a sex scene with many words, yet for me I found with this being the third book I wasn’t excited as the prospect of reading these sex scenes. The intensity was still there, yet the taboo nature of those scenes was not the same as before. While I found the use of elixir mixed with fantasy was extremely exotic and darkly taboo I wasn’t too keen when these elements were removed.

Third A Kiss is not as dark or taboo as books 1 and 2. The third book focuses more on the goddesses as individuals and less as a means to fulfill the contract. Sully is more personable in this book. We see a human side to his character that we got a glimpse of before. The character development of Sully was phenomenal. Sadly I was hoping for something more complicated, something more sinister.

Well I must say for a third book it was an eye opening experience into the heart of euphoria. Breaking into Sully’s weaknesses was a treat. Expanding on Eleanor and Sully’s characters as individuals and a couple was enlightening.

I feel like a have been on rollercoaster without a safety harness taking a ride through a mine field, with no idea how to safely maneuver through it. The hits come bam bam, and you think you are safe and then bam bam babam and one more for the road. I feel so invested in them and their journey is my journey and I have no idea if any of us will be the same when it's over. This one definitely was full of that delicious chemistry and some hot hot loving scenes, but that darkness waiting to drag you down and destroy it all us just waiting in the background and it breaks my heart. I don't know how I'm going to survive the waiting, it's gonna be hard and I'm probably gonna be an emotional wreck, but I will be there with bells on because Sully and Elanore are worth the pain and suffering to hopefully get to the rainbow on the other side!

ARC received from Next Step PR

I had a bit of a feeling going into this one. Being as it is a third and the middle of the series, I figured we would get some answers, see some relationship development, and it would bring us to the second half of the series. I was right, but not to the extent I first thought.

This book releases SO much information to us. I had concerns going into this series that I mentioned in my review of Book 1, but Pepper (shockingly) made it work. These “concerns” get brought up again in such a way that made me feel silly for having them be concerning at all. It’s quite funny when you think about how it all played out.

This book was pure development on every front possible, even more about Sully’s personal life. I asked myself for most of the book, “what’s next?” I’m sorry I asked for that crazy ending!!

As each book, this book is so tasteful. The characters are pretty well developed so it focuses less on them and more on them together and the concept of his islands.

It’ll be another long wait till May (but worth it). I feel like we’re about to get some darkness into this series and less of the sweet that has been thus far.

After reading Third a Kiss I am 100% that this series keeps getting better and better as it progresses. The plot, the characters, the dynamics, and the setting. All of it! It just keeps getting more vivid and more beautiful.

Despite the situations, Pepper has done an incredible job at creating a dynamic chemistry between Sully and Jinx. (I'm saying Jinx because I love that nickname for her.) Seeing both of them together in this one really captivated me.

I read this one in one sitting. I feel like as this series progresses it's getting stronger and stronger and the characters are really starting to fall into their true selves and I love it! I definitely look forward to the next installment in this series!

This series is like a drug to me. I am addicted and can't get enough. Literally.

And....let me catch my rapid heart beats/breath from reading Third a Kiss. Cuz hot damn- that was a wild, heart pounding brilliant dark twisted read.

Seriously, I don't know how to express how hot, sexy, sweet, scary, electrifying, suspicious, untrustworthy this book is. Pepper knows how to deliver Sully to us while hating him- falling in love with him.

Third a Kiss is electrifying, sizzling, dramatic, filled with lies, love and lust, suspenseful and filled with revenge you don't see coming. Trust me, if you've read book 1/2 you will devour Third a Kiss.. and want more just like the rest of us! That ending..... May 19th can't come fast enough!

5 stars from me.

*Recv'd an Arc in exchange for an honest review.*

I have DEVOURED every book in this series so far. I'm absolutely in love with it. Sully and Eleonor are perfect together. The chemistry between them is incredible. Sully's character has come so far, and turned into someone beautiful. Pepper Winters' writing is always so spectacular. I get lost in it completely. The setting is still to die for. There's so much sexy going on I can't deal sometimes. I love the pacing, and I'd honestly read this series if it were 15 books instead of 5. I love it that much. Third a Kiss was a spectacular ride. I'm ready for more. Right NOW. Ugh.

This story is one that readers who enjoy a darker side to romance must read. Third a Kiss is the third book in this incredible series and I have not been disappointed at all. With two more books yet to be released I wonder where Pepper Winters will take us next. This series is thought provoking; It is most certainly addictive and as soon as a book lands on my Kindle, it is devoured in one sitting.

Twice a Wish left me desperate for answers and needing to discover what happened next and this instalment gave me exactly what I was hoping for. Not only did the situation that the second book left us on play out, and what a scene that is, but the author also addresses something that I and many of us have been constantly thinking about. I’m being vague, I know. However, I don’t want to go into details because you really do need to go in blind and discover everything yourself.

The more time I spend with Sully and Eleanor the more I fall in love with this couple. Their chemistry is off the charts. They have an intense connection that many of us will envy. This book finds them exploring their feelings for each other and these feelings are also tested. They are so well suited that I need them to find their HEAs together…. it is something I am desperate for. Put aside the rights and wrongs of the circumstances that they are in, fate has brought them together and I pray that nothing will tear them apart.

Third a Kiss is filled with passion, love, truth, betrayal and revenge. The suspense will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and you will be left demanding more. I absolutely loved the emotions that this book brought out in me and I have no hesitation in recommending for you to read this unique and amazing story.

HOT!!!
INTENSE!!!
EROTIC!!!!
Three word to describe a series that does not disappoint and continues to blow me away. Sully and Jinx will have you emotionally involved in their relationship that they refuse admit but can't resist. There are twists and turns, secrets, betrayals and revelations around every corner. Danger comes from those you would never suspect and consequences are delivered in ways you would have never thought. Words are said that causes pain, confessions are made and truth becomes reality. I enjoyed Jealousy a lot in this story but there's something that happens at the end of this book that leaves me second guessing her words and her actions. This one ends with an explosive ending and I can't wait to read what happens next. If you think you know how this one ends, think again.

Just take my money. All.OF. IT.

Sweet Holy Titfire.

Gobsmacked. Dumbstruck. Astonished. Amazed. Flabbergasted. I am not sure how many other ways or words I can say that describe how I felt after finishing this book. I don't know how she does it but every time, she expands on her world-building and takes it a step higher. EVERY. TIME. I knew this book that it would be good, after all, she wrote it, but I had no idea that it would be this good. Truly sublime.

Thie book picks up where the previous one left off, and if you haven't read it, then know it left me on bated breath because where it ended was on a whopper of a cliffhanger. I was not prepared for what was going to happen when Sully got a taste of his own medicine, literally in this case. It was brutal and animalistic and it was PERFECT. I loved gaining more insight into Sully and what makes him tick. There were a few huge surprises there. However, the biggest surprise came from Elanor once again. I am amazed at how logical she is, even in times that she should be angry and or running for her life. Her empathetic nature is beautiful to see and is often one that is rarely seen in the real world let alone in fiction. There is a mystique and magnetism to her that draws me to her, almost as if she truly is a Goddess rather than a mere mortal. Sully never stood a chance against her. Both of these characters seem to balance something in each other, almost as if the universe and fates had created them for each other. There is a part of me that felt like regardless of the circumstance and the how or why Jinx came to be part of Sully's world, that they would have met eventually because their pull was that magnetic. I take comfort in that because I cannot see this as only someone falling in love with their "captor" but rather, It was a love predestined in the stars.

After finishing this book, I again was left with a whopping book hangover and wanting to both simultaneously scream that May now seems like forever away and cry that this part of the story was over. It was beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking, raw, intense, and stunningly perfect. This cliffy stung a little (as per usual) because I know it is going to really hurt after what this book offered and that it probably won't feel better until book five because book four will be the destruction before the aftermath. That really stings because I am not sure that my heart can hurt like that for two months. I rarely can handle cliffhanger books because the wait not only kills me but because I am worried that I will forget a pivotal detail. However, with this author's series books, I never forgot which makes this anguish of ending on a cliffhanger worth it as well as makes it bittersweet. Kudos, to this author for knocking my socks off.

My heart was in my throat all the time I was reading this book. If you liked the Monsters in the Dark series, you will love this one as it evokes the same response; as fast as I need to read it I don’t want it to end. Eleanor and Sully are made for each other but Sully is so consumed by darkness that Eleanor is not sure she will ever break through. There are so many twists and turns that it makes the reader’s head spin and there is no peace even when it seems there may finally be a resolution, bam, there is another twist and the reader is left anxious again. This is Pepper Winters at her absolute best and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Ummm…My mind has been blown. I now need Fourth a Lie. It’s a need not a want. That ending, GAH! Seriously though, I devoured this book. I finished in mere hours and now I’m left with my heart in my throat and cursing Sinclair.

I waited for panic. I drowned beneath pleasure.

Answers!!! we FINALLY get answers. I have so much love for this book and the amount of love that is within the pages, makes my heart extremely full. As I was reading, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and did it ever. My heart broke for Sully and Jinx.

A laugh that spread out over the ocean, clear and wonderful… and all mine.

Third a Kiss picks up right where Twice a Wish left us… A Goddess and God ready for the ultimate battle of wills and desire (is it hot in here?). Will they both survive? How angry will Sully be, will he seek vengeance? The answers (inset heart eyes) did you really think I’d tell..

It happened against my will. It happened despite your tricks, It’s done, and no matter your schemes, it can’t be undone, which means you’ve just signed your death warrants because how can I let you live… (oops, did you want to know the rest?).

Honestly, this is the best book so far. Which makes me even more excited for the next two. Especially since Pepper was taking about writing the most powerful chapter in Fifth a Fury. All I ask in that you be gentle with my heart. You’ve left it in a precarious spot in all.

Read it!
