I was really looking forward to reading this book, it sounded great, but I struggled to connect with the main character.I tried again after a few days but just found it hard work, I can only hope it was just me and others enjoy it more than I did.

Beth Belmont is haunted by her past.
When she finds a list with her own name on it, she is compelled to research the other names only to realise she is tied to them by history she’d rather forget.
I found parts of this book quite predictable but overall I enjoyed it. Sometimes there is too much description which somehow has the effect of making the scary bits less scary, rather than increasing your unease as you read.
A good idea for a book but I wasn’t sure on the ending! Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for my copy of this book.

This was an excellent and dramatic novel, with believable and well-fleshed out characters. Highly recommended.

When Beth Belmont sees a slip of paper while running in her local woods, she decides to check to see what it is. The piece of paper is a list, containing five names - and one of them is Beth's name. Beth can't stop thinking about the list and does some research. She finds out that the first two people on the list are dead, and her name is next - will she be next to die...?
A thrilling tale where you are kept guessing until the end. I liked how the book moved between the present and past so we are slowly fed the story of how it all links together. A worthwhile read.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance copy of the book in return for my honest feedback.

I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought or hoped I would. Parts of it were a little slow and the different perspectives and people names confused me a little. I was still confused by who wrote the List even at the end!

Creepy and orginal. A good read.
Beth Belmont runs every day, hard and fast on the trail near home. She knows every turn, every bump in the road. So when she spots something out of place - a slip of white paper at the base of a tree - she's drawn to it.
On the paper are five names. The third is her own.Beth can't shake off the unease the list brings. Why is she on it? And what ties her to the other four strangers?
Its lanuage is easy to read and connect with the protagonist.
Its dialogues are just wow.
Thanks to NetGalley and Orion Publishing Group for giving me an advance copy.
